  • It's that time of year again - bigger surf from the WNW and NW start rolling in and we all want to be ready. Especially since paddling and surfing can overload our neck and upper back area and keep us out of the water if we're not careful. Plus, 18 months of Zoom isn't helping, right?
    At DeWitt PT, we LOVE working with our surfing community and sharing the stoke of a great session or season. Part of that is giving some resources to help keep our surfers IN the water and OUT of our office.
    Here, Ryan DeWitt, PT and Coach, offers a few mobility exercises to help make sure your posture is optimized to enhance your paddling and taking stress off your neck and shoulders. All simple and easy to do as a warm up BEFORE you paddle out and can do in between sessions to keep you moving and ready!
