- Every car enthusiast deserves a "Daily Beater". Here is my 2011 Ford Fusion SE that I purchased for my daily and I love it! Perfect daily for anybody, in my opinion!

I have a black 2011 SE This is the best car I've ever bought. I bought it for 900$ 86,000mi and had it for 3 years and I haven't had to change anything major just breaks, a belt that a rock popped in, reg. Oil changes, normal maintenance and a couple light bulbs and now about to get a tune up.. I've traveled to 3 states and traveled statewide. Hands down best ever. This car is perfect, I just wish it was a standard shift not automatic but it's still my baby ❤ I love it
I bought a 2.5l Se with the 6speed with 79,000 miles! Love this car! It's actually faster than the 3.0 auto with my fastest 0-60 7.1 seconds stock
my 2011 3.0L SEL goes 0-60 in 5.8 seconds. 140,000 miles
Yeah the 3.0 and 3.5 are pretty dang quick for what they are honestly

In some states the cops use these are patrol or unmarked vehicles, but I think they use the 2.5 and 3.0 depending on what they’re used for. I’ve seen an unmarked 2.5 here in fl before but I think it was a detective

Nice ride brother...I have her twin for 2500$ And she got 180 mile and I did only minor maintenance..and it ride fine .. very good choice and good mpg too

Nice! That looks so clean for over 200,000 miles! I have a friend that had one up to 231,000 miles, but his hood wouldn't unlatch so he just drove it into the ground. Also, I always wondered how an aftermarket radio could be installed with Ford's odd dashboard design, but that will look nice!
Anthony Guidetti It’s surprisingly a lot easier than you think for an aftermarket radio to be installed. The longer i own it the more I realize how simple this car is and how easy it is to work on.
Me and the wife test drove one today. $5,500 is the asking price and only has 129,000 miles on it. I heard from the car salesman that these cars 12's, 13's have alot of problems, but this year is ok. I'm not going to lie none of the dashlight warnings signs are on. So that's great, but i may still take it by the actual Ford dealership to look at it. We we we're test driving it it drove smooth. It's an automatic, but you can feel when it goes from one gear to another. Don't know if that's the way it suppose drives. I like it, just don't won't any problems with it until at least a couple years or more. You got you a steal though my brother.
Biggest issue with mine is the airbag light, that’s a recall so if Ford hasn’t mailed you a recall make sure to contact them. It will be covered by the official Ford dealership. Also, it may just be mine but something is currently wrong with the windshield wiper fluid pump. Refilled and fluids are good but not spraying and I try to clean them.

I’m considering on getting a 2011 Ford Fusion SE 2.5L 4 cylinder that has 152,000 miles for $4000. Many things have been redone on it and it was deep cleaned on the inside and they did a thing on the outside to make it super shiny. It will be my first car if I get it.

@@BrotherlyReviews I just got it yesterday! As far as I know so far the car is in good shape with a few dents and scratches. The previous owner hit a spare tire on the road so the front bumper got replaced. I need to put fender wells on the front which the person I bought it from will do it for cheap for me since I know him and I also need to take it in to get a new catalytic converter.
Man times have changed haha. Grabbed an 08 vg AWD fully loaded with 99k for 6.5 out the door. I ain't mad though it's dumb clean with all maint done from the same spot on time.. killer

So far, just regular wear and tear, like brakes, tires, belts. Nothing that would just break due to poor design. It’s a very solid car. I’m currently at 220k miles and no issues. Literally the most reliable car I’ve ever owned!
Hey bro I got the exact same car .black out the lights in the back , paint the rims black it’ll look way cleaner. My cars got 145,000 miles on it I put it in my 100,000 on mine and I drove it very recless and it’s still alive lol , it’s a great car

I paid $1,100 for my 2010 Mercury Milan S (same thing as a Fusion) with 212k miles in a year when used car values are going up and I couldn't be happier with it. I bought it for a daily because my 87 Lebaron is a WIP and my 02 F150 is a gas hog.
My car is worth almost 4K right now, even with 220k miles it currently has. Thinking about selling it but I love the car too much lol
Still can't believe my elder brother bought a 2007 Toyota Camry with 140k miles on it in 2021 for about 6 thousand dollars, while I showed him d fusion 2010 2.5litre with 100k miles a good deal for less than 4 thousand dollars. Hell, am gonna get one of this baby real soon.
Really goes to show how well Toyota holds their value. Still a very reliable car either way.
Never had any problems with any Ford cars or trucks F150,Mustangs,wife has a 2014 Focus had a recall Ford fixed never another issue 170 k love that little car it runs great gets high 30’s mpg hwy at times 40+ and has a ton of pep.

Opposite Lock my apologies for the late response. Didn’t even notice this comment. It’s extremely reliable! Literally the least to non-problematic vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’m at 210k now and still not a single problem. I uber and lyft with mine also.
tokoya oladipupo ived owned it almost a year and have only done one oil change. I love this car for the simple fact it’s super low maintenance!

I know what you mean! I also have a 2010 Sport in silver metallic excellent condition was formerly my Dads car since brand new off showroom floor when he bought it. That car is rare for a Fusion variant and is more comparable to a Mustang far as power and muscle goes! Ppl online refer to these as "Baby SHOs"

Sadly these cars are overshadowed by the SHO and almost nobody knows they're a thing. But hey that makes them cheap as hell!
I want to mod this car, but the aftermarket is nonexistent. The fusion could have been an excellent platform. Especially since there's an AWD variant. Imagine dropping SHO turbos into this car (they're the same engine but SHO is ecoboosted). That, with the AWD and lightness would make this car a ROCKET.
Missed opportunity, Ford.

I have this same year model car and mine has 191,000 on it but mine for some reason is extremely sluggish when you step on the gas and mine is also the SE with the 2.5L 4 cylinder, but I notice when stopped at a dead stop the front of the car shakes and if I put it in neutral or park it goes away, also when going forward from a dead stop like at a stoplight I can push the gas pedal and it lags like it has no power and going up hills with it is miserable because of the lagging it slows down drastically
Peculiarsafe83 the vibration is the broken engine mounts. Mine is doing the same. I would suggest doing a fuel system cleaning on your engine. The 2.5l has no desire to go fast but it shouldn’t be as bad as you’re describing. Definitely sounds like a clogged fuel system.
Great video and information. I have a 2012 Ford Fusion and it's a great car. I just bought apioneer stereo with cd,dvd and Sirius xm ready. I'm having trouble trying to find the wiring that would link to my steering Wheel. Any info would be appreciated.

I have this car in SEL model also 2.5L I4 engine. Very reliable and good in gas.
I used to have a 2011 Mercury Milan. It was a very nice car till I totaled it with hitting a deer almost 4 years ago. I got it in June of 2012 just 3 and half months after my car accident that year. In the accident that I was driving a Ford Focus ZX5. The other driver hit my car and it did rolled over. From that accident that I broke my left ankle in the accident.

Hi, im looking at a 2011 Fusion that was offered for 4500 CAD. However it has 270,000 km on it, and im going to be in Nanaimo which is pretty close to the sea (i fear the salt in the air may cause faster rusting). If im going to have a first car, would you recommend this?

The tints set off the car nicely with that burgundy color, whats your percentage front to back side to side
windshield is 35, front windows at 15, rest of the windows are 5%

Bought my 2011 with 203k and it’s still running strong as ever! I would take a look at the main records, but if it’s the 2.5l engine, you’ll be fine. It’s a Mazda engine so it’s extremely reliable
Is this car great for traveling I’m looking to buy a 2010 one in my city that’s asking for $4K it only has 110,000 miles on it. I’ll be taking it with me for school I know, that no car is perfect but I just need something that’ll last for the next 2years of my college career

This thing was probably totaled and then rebuilt 3rd party then sold, As you said everything lines up perfectly so that means they did a good job rebuilding it but the airbag light is on so that could mean they didn't have the module reset which means your airbags probably wont deploy in the next accident.
I’m on the fusion forums and some have said their airbag light was always on and they got into an accident and the airbags still deployed, so that’s good. There was a recall on the module which I had done, and then the light came back on a couple weeks later. Dealer charging $150 just to run the code, which i had someone else run it for free. Basically a faulty module. But I have reason to believe the car was crashed and not reported because the steering wheel is a different color to the rest of the interior and not the correct steering wheel for SYNC.
@@BrotherlyReviews Oh interesting. I keep seeing more and more vehicles that have been in unreported accidents (some of which were obviously in an accident), I guess it's due to people not wanting their rates to go up or something.
I was looking to buy this model, I found one in white and I already love the color. It has 110,123 miles on it and the price is $5990 which I feel a bit more for this car. Also it has one open recall which has not taken care off. What should I do ? Should I buy this car ? What’s there life expectancy? I will appreciate any advice from your side.
im currently at 217k miles , original trans and engine. still runs very strongly. these engines are bulletproof (2.5l) as its a Mazda engine. whats the recall it has? mine had the airbag recall and that was it. I believe theres one for the power steering also but it was already done on nine.

That was their best selling sedan, so idk why they stopped. Only car they kept was the mustang.

Honestly, this is the best car I've owned! super cheap on maintenance, extremely comfortable, im at 217k now and still runs like new. All the Ford jokes discouraged me at first, but then found out the 2.5l engine is fro the Mazda6, so its very reliable. Just wish it was a bit better on MPG, but I do constant stop and go driving (city only). On the highway its amazing.

Still 110% recommend! Literally THE most reliable car I’ve ever owned, and the maintenance is super affordable. However, it has no desire to drive fast whatsoever lol it’s simply a car you just drive.

Praise God for your videos. By the way, the 2006 Ford Fusion SE V6 with 150k for $3500 was a good steal. But it had no oil, back lights were missing. While test driving it, it wouldn't get up and go, it shaked on driver side, and knocked while turning. So, NO sale was made!

I don't have the Sony system unfortunately, but the standard speakers are AMAZING! I can only imagine the Sony is even better
2006 to 2012 are considered Gen 1 Fusions. 10 to 12s are just minor updated facelifts still Gen 1. Gen 2 is 2013 to 2020.
Is it a good car for a road trip?
It’s an AWESOME road trip vehicle. That’s all the previous owner did with it, hence the high mileage lol even for myself it does amazing as a Highway vehicle.
Mine has 123,000 and if u try to step on it hard like to spin the tires it feels bumpy or bounces from the tires like a bumpy road

How to turn off the autolamp set my at 0 but it still comes on
You may have daytime running lamps. They’ll always be on as long as the transmission is not in park, regardless of light setting.

Nope the V6 is available in the SE and SEL as an option. The Sport has a V6 also but a bigger 3.5L.

@@krystaljohnson5971 2010 was missing a couple things compared to the 2011 (such as automatic headlights) none of the trim levels offered that for 2010. But the 2010’s front passenger seat folds all the way flat. The 2011 and up doesn’t do that, unfortunately.
