I like your more quirky, individual style of explaining color, and my style (English country house) really lends itself to using color and pattern. I look forward to exploring more of your ideas.
I love you style so much!! I’m definitely more of a mid century person, but the eclectic British/ Scandinavian style has grown on me so much, your so cool!!
Found your channel after you posted your first video, and I’m hooked! Love your passion and attention to detail in the way you explain things, makes the decorating process seem fun and accessible. Thanks for sharing your talent and good vibes with the world :)
Your content is so great, really love the thought you put into explaining things I can see/feel but not always put into words. Especially #2, too much coordination can give off a “hotel room-I don’t really live here” vibe?
I just bought a new piece of art in contrasting red figures with a blue background and a green underbase that peaks through - I'm so excited for the pop!!! everyone is noticing and commenting on it
my current bedroom colors are terracotta orange, and teal, with pops of red and yellow, but I also have forest green throw and curtains, any suggestions of what colors to get rid of to make the bedroom more cohesive? I also have chrome and wooden accents,
Hmm I would suggest maybe taking away the yellow items just to see how it makes the space feel. keeping it to terracotta, teal and forest green with pops of red will make the space feel more cohesive and warm! Feel free to send me pics of the space on insta @walkthroughhome if you need more help! 💕
Please share where you found your sconces above your fireplace! I’m guessing they’re vintage, but if it’s possible to link to them will you please share? I’ve been scouring Etsy lately for something very similar 😊
Here is a link to a pair I found! www.ebay.com/itm/375382284653?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=x2pxxuyxquc&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=nwr0b_4usha&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Trim is usually not matte because the glossier finishes are more scuff resistant, places with trim like doors and windows are pretty high traffic

That means so much to me! Thank you!
Absolutely do patterns!! Color, Texture, I got, but patterns in the home always leave me with too much decision fatigue and then I give up. 😅
