Doja Cat for me, everyone knew she’d have to come as the cat given it’s literally in her stage name. It’s a 10/10 difficult to dress up like a cat and actually pull it off and look good……she killed it.
I honestly agree. One of the only looks that were minimal but strict to pull off in actuality. It was the #1 fit of the night

Agree. She nailed it! Dressing as a cat and not looking like it's Halloween and you are going trick or treating....or even worse, an oversized muppet or MLB mascot (looking at you Leto).
She was also meowing in interviews, like she was committed!!

Petition to add Anne Hathaway under Met History: the details are references for other designers (I sense a trend), and the draping required to sculpt tweed into Versace silhouette...genius dressmaking. Same for Teyana Taylor
I felt a lot of them were Met History, everyone was talking about so many of them!
I absolutely loved that Nicole Kidman wore the dress she wore for the absolute iconic Chanel ad, I just wished she had her hair in a low side bun or something similar. It would of been just the cherry on top with elegance!

i give her a shoot and a wow to Versace. I mean it's been a while since I saw something SCREAM VERSACE that much. The assignment was there, the look, the cut, the moment, the silhouette, the material, the knowledge. I mean WOW. JUST WWOOW

Just an interesting insight on Rihanna’s look, it wasn’t just the camellias and the fingerless gloves. She walked last on the carpet, same way Karl had his muses walk his runways last in bridal dresses. A$AP was dressed like Karl and Rihanna was his muse in a wedding gown. Also, the sunglasses are Chanel ‘93 if I’m not mistaken. Peek at the pearl jewelleries also. The references are endless. LOVED IT. Truly the Queen of the Met Gala!!!

Doja Cat's INTERVIEW was I think Met Gala history, she absolutely did not break character & meowed her way through the Red Carpet! Incredible analysis on each look! Also we love Cassie doing longer videos!!!!
As great as Anne Hathaway looked in Versace (10/10) I really wish she would have worn the Chanel look she wore in Devil Wears Prada - the white shirt, off the shoulder black sweater, Chanel necklaces and the tweed newsboy hat. That would have been a such an on theme look and a reference to one of her most iconic roles. And just imagine the photographers like "Anne are you wearing..." and she replies "the Chanel boots? Yeah, I am" 😂
Anne Hathaway & Cardi B made history for me. I think they both looked absolutely unforgettable

A bit disappointed with the “effort” they were mostly all Chanel inspired but a lot were missing the MET vibe where they should have taken the Karl vibe and METified it and added the razzel dazzle… gave Chanel runway not Chanel couture energy . Men went with more daring options then women imho! Thank you for pulling this together! Love this vid x

The celebs really got into this year’s theme. So many worked with Karl, you could feel his presence. I agree the men were on point. Who knew Tommy H. could channel Karl so well? Sentimental points to Marion C, Naomi C, and Kristen S.

Ann Hathaway won the Met frankly! She looked gorgeous! Doja Cat,Cardi B,Bad Bunny,Teyana Taylor,Jenna Ortega,Diddy....oh I loved Karl Lagerfeld. He's on a threshold in the fashion world where very few would ever reach! R.i.p
I woke up in the middle of the night to pee, saw there was a Cassie video up and said "Screw sleep, I gotta see this!" As always I love the video AND I learned some fashion history. Great job Cassie! Now I'm going back to bed . 😄
Dua was one of the top looks for me! Especially considering she actually knew of the history of the dress and personally asked for it! Like that sort of love and care of fashion is rare and she absolutely slayed in it
i actually strongly disagree. her look was forgettable. Its a beautiful dress for any other red carpet but for the MET Gala where we are celebrating art, very very underwhelming. Its just a ready to wear look executed impeccably. Accessories dont really count unless they elevate the entire look and that one necklace just did not do anything

It's hard to top Blake Lively's gorgeous dress from last year!! I still think about it!! I loved Cardi B's look!!! I'm still thinking about the cape with Karl Lagerfield on it!! How can you not love Rhianna!! But most of the looks were underwhelming. It's like they forgot where they were going!!
Rihanna Killed it‼️ I absolutely loved her look. Doja Cat and Cardi B killed it as well. But the worst was Kim k and her sisters, and JLo . I. Enjoyed what the men wore this year.👍🏾👍🏾

Thom Browne really killed it this year! Majority of the attendees dressed by them came to serve. My favorite outfit this year is sora choi's! (korean top model)

Kyile's dress was inspired by andre leon talley whose initial capes were designed by karl at chanel it’s on theme and it’s his signature colour
I loved Anne Hathaway's look. I didn't even recognise her. Florence's head dress was amazing - what a debut.
My favorite was Penelope Cruz. I think that one will stick in my mind as memorable.

I'm sorry but I don't agree with you, Cassie. I loved the Jared Leto costume. I though it was a tongue in cheek moment. The Kardashian/Jenner should not have been on the invited list. They were not even on theme.

I think Kim was on theme but imo it kinda looked like she was bloated, her corset made her lower tummy look really swollen, at least Jared’s outfit was memorable but it did look like a Halloween costume too

Conans was defiantly my favorite of them all, the designs are so intricate and beautiful and honestly he just pulled it off so well, I may be a little bias because of how much I love him, but I do honestly think he pulled it off great and just won the show.
