When I was a kid, I cried with David Banner. Lou, never forget Bill, your friend, your big brother, I love you both. A Huge French fan of the incredible Hulk.
I remember watching the series as a kid in the 70s. I could always remember a big red ball thing that Hulk was trapped in but not much else. Then when I bought the DVD boxset and watched it all I finally saw that scene in Prometheus. That was it! And Hulk pushing against the valve was probably the hardest thing he ever had to do in the whole series but he did it! Loved that! HULK PUSH! It would have been ironic if the cure could have been found on his sister's ranch too. Some sort of plant based medicine perhaps
After David left his home again, her sister searched a cure, then She found a formula but she injected it and it made her turn into a female hulk.!! She-hulk. That was the idea after The Incredible Hulk !! But the networks said no ,that time !! In the 90s,there was a No to She-Hulk,too. Now,2022 Disney + will release She-Hulk !!
Ahhhh god bless u lou hulk always finds a way out cares for those in need such a gentle giant r.i. p bill u made the hulk and lou what he is to this day .. i grew up watching these guys thankyou.
God I love the ending! I wish David could've stayed human forever & had a happy, normal life. Did I mention that I was the biggest Bill Bixby fan in the world?
Poor David. Most of the episode, he was stuck between "Puny Banner" and "Hulk Smash" and his intelligence was suffering in that halfway state as well. He didn't know if he could ever go fully back to being Dr. David Banner. He's lucky that McGee didn't want to put the pieces of the Hulk puzzle together. I think it was Jack's way of honoring the fact that the Hulk bailed him out of a few scrapes.
By this point in the series, McGee had become a much more sympathetic character. He really did want to help "John Doe" be cured of the Hulk. David never learned about McGee's gradual change of heart, though, and still treated him as a menace to be avoided rather than the potential ally he had become.
Thanks for posting, I never get tired of watching the hulk. lol. They don't make tv shows like this anymore. I have the whole series on dvd, I bought the individual sets for my son and myself, and a boxed set of the whole series, unopened. Now I'll just have too hide it from my son when he's here for the summer. He'll want too open it. lol
Damn right he got it. I have been always convinced that there's no power cap to the levels of strength this version of Hulk can reach, similar to the CB counterpart, but this Hulk needs more leverage due to being smaller (330lbs vs 1000+lbs), which he didn't have against the car crusher.
I think if there had been someone in peril that he could not reach in the car crusher then I reckon the car crusher would have got wrecked by him. At one point he was holding that car crusher at bay with one arm. Whether due to story (or budgetary restraints) this Hulk only did what was needed.
To be fair, this was the EARLY 80s, but that make up effect mREALLY DID make Ric Drasin look like a mutated Bill Bixby. Well done, considering the limitations.
We got a power overload! (hulk roaring in distance) He sure does! (Sirens wooping) We got a pressure buildup (more roaring and wooping) Great stuff, ain't it?
... wow, I didn't make that connection, but you're right - the blind girl in this episode is played by the same person as the paralyzed girl from A Death in the Family. The actress's name is Laurie Prange, though. Laurie Metcalf is someone else.
Yeah. His on-screen feats are not quite as impressive as his comic counterpart (and he's certainly less durable than the comic Hulk), but the TV Hulk still seemed to have no upper limit on his strength.
What I never got about this scene was although David was trapped part way through his transformation, are you telling me Jack McGee couldn't recogonise that was him? It still looked enough like him to be able to tell it was David.
i know that much but in this episode, you can also see who plays the demi hulk. up close it shows bill bixby but further away there is another guy it shows who is stronger and muscular, the demi hulk is not Lou. When he fully transforms it's Lou, but in this film, he is caught between hulk and banner and when the camera moves away, you see the demi hulk guy. just google it
Right, I did know that, and for some reason used the wrong last name. But she's kind of like the characters on Little House on the Prairie; I saw some reruns of it the other day, and all of the characters seemed to be blind...
gustavo sierra más que eso David buscaba la paz consigo mismo una y otra vez , lamentablemente siempre había obstáculos a los que se enfrentaba (como este episodio)
That's not Lou, that's Ric Drasin, who played the so-called "demi-Hulk" in long shots. Ric does resemble Lou and is likewise a bodybuilder (but a shorter, lighter one - Ric is 6'0, Lou is 6'5"), so he was a good choice for the in-between form.
I hope the show returns someday & there is a way to do it remember in Death of the Incredible Hulk he had sex with that woman a studio could have it she got pregnant & the child as it gets older starts feeling the Hulk slowly emerging
Norton actually managed to channel Bix and pull it off. But Ruffalo? Just - NO! You can't play an eminent scientist as a 60's hippy. It just ain't happening . . . unless you're a post-Millennial.
here ill go one better for you:Drasin received no screen credit for one of his most visible roles, known variously as the “Middle Hulk,” “Hulkette, or the “Demi Hulk,” in two episodes of the television series The Incredible Hulk. Drasin played the half-transformed Hulk in “Prometheus: Part 1” (1980) and “Prometheus: Part 2” (1980).[34] The fully transformed Hulk was played by Lou Ferrigno, a 6’5” bodybuilder who weighed 285 pounds.
I wonder if Laurie Metcalf ever played a character who wasn't physically challenged? Just on this show alone she played a girl who couldn't walk and a girl who couldn't see...
I always felt if they made another hulk series, Kaley Cuoco would be perfect has Betty Ross. But I guess that would conflict with her role of Penny on the Big Bang Theory. Still she's a great actress. lol

Even when i watched this the frist time ever and over and over. In this episode that night the hulk truly became incredible. Sticking it to the MAN!
When I was a kid, I cried with David Banner. Lou, never forget Bill, your friend, your big brother, I love you both.
A Huge French fan of the incredible Hulk.
The most spectacular feat of strength performed by The Hulk in the entire television series followed by the most touching scene. What's not to like?
Totally agree.
And he did this while being affected by 5 tranquilizing darts as well!
McGee gets so close. Again.
@@htershane MCGEE STRONG, BUT HULK STRONGER!

Prometheus would have been good for a final episode with the Hulk being unexpectedly cured and found love.
That’s right! I agree with u. It would be perfect final one. Should have leave it for the 2 part final ever

I love it this tv series. For your human side role in Bill Bixby like David Banner and Lou Ferrigno like HULK.
This is the most destructive the Hulk ever was in the series.
First time we saw a live action Hulk versus the Military
Shame that General Ross or Major Talbot was not around.
I think this particular Hulk-Out features the creature's most impressive feats of strength in the entire series. They went all-out for this one.
That ending would be perfect for David returning from his Hulk state for the very last time having been given a cure.
Love the Incredible Hulk. If you pause at 1:17, it's Lou Ferrigno.
I love this episode! Lou and Bill are wonderful! But also Laurie Prange, who had worked in the second episode of the first season, too!
Best hulk out of this episode.😀
Best episode in the series, maybe The First
Considering Bixby's portrayal of the tortured David banner, his relief at the end there really special. Gone but never to be forgotten.

So true. He was the best actor in television along with Jonathan Harris and Guy Williams.
@Karl M He played Dr Smith in lost in space.60s TV series.

True, and they picked the perfect actor to play Jack McGhee too. Jack Colvin was excellent in the role.

It was only Ric Drasin from distance. Bill was still David in the close up shots
I remember seeing this episode as a kid but i never paid attention to demi hulk til years later lol.
David is so happy that hes back to normal 8:07

6:10 "the first" made a reference to that scene
you can also see where hulk started getting smarter. he started using his head
Sono molto felice che David ritorna a essere un vero umano❤❤❤😊😊😊🎉🎉
They need to make a Savage She Hulk tv series exactly like this. Staring Kaley Cuoco as Jen Walters and Colette Nelson as the She Hulk!
... wow, I didn't make that connection, but you're right - the blind girl in this episode is played by the same person as the paralyzed girl from A Death in the Family. The actress's name is Laurie Prange, though. Laurie Metcalf is someone else.
Great ending. Thanks for loading.
Loving it.
Very true. Maybe that should've been the series finale, so audiences could have a nice, clean ending.
I love the hulkxxx
Keep fighting hulk
The only episode with 3 hulk actors, all playing the same hulk I mean.
I love Hulk. He is the strongest man in the world
Yeah. His on-screen feats are not quite as impressive as his comic counterpart (and he's certainly less durable than the comic Hulk), but the TV Hulk still seemed to have no upper limit on his strength.

I love The Incredible Hulk but Mgees sooo thick......he didnt recognise it was Banner lol
Who is the person playing mid transformation Banner please?
That's not Lou, that's Ric Drasin, who played the so-called "demi-Hulk" in long shots. Ric does resemble Lou and is likewise a bodybuilder (but a shorter, lighter one - Ric is 6'0, Lou is 6'5"), so he was a good choice for the in-between form.
Brilliant casting and makeup. Really looks half David, half Hulk.
Did they also use Ric Drasin (uncredited) for the first transformation in the pilot episode with the flat tyre?

Thought so :)
Where's the part where he scapes from the cell?
Yes, I realized that; check the comments directly above. I mixed up her last name with another actor named Laurie.
I hope the show returns someday & there is a way to do it remember in Death of the Incredible Hulk he had sex with that woman a studio could have it she got pregnant & the child as it gets older starts feeling the Hulk slowly emerging
1:05 that’s bill bixby in the makeup and at 1:37 that’s ric drasin far from the shot
How did Bill Bixby look so ripped?

Norton actually managed to channel Bix and pull it off. But Ruffalo? Just - NO! You can't play an eminent scientist as a 60's hippy. It just ain't happening . . . unless you're a post-Millennial.
I think it's in this shot 0:24 It's not Bill Bixby, not The Lou Ferrigno, it's another actor being more macho than actor Bill Bixby.
It was Ric Drasin, a bodybuilder himself. Impressive physique and one I would be ecstatic to have!!! but obviously not as impressive as Lou's.
here ill go one better for you:Drasin received no screen credit for one of his most visible roles, known variously as the “Middle Hulk,” “Hulkette, or the “Demi Hulk,” in two episodes of the television series The Incredible Hulk.
