after doing this my speed got unlocked to 100 but now I have an error 5 on the main display. The throttle also stopped working, can anyone help? I have the same bike, pro engine 2.0

@cortex2476 thank you, I did it yay. With throttle it does 20mph and without I can push it to 28mph is your the same? I believe your a Norfolk chap the same as me.
When i try to hold the +symbol alone it starts scrolling through all the options and if i continue to hold the button nothing but i can definitely get into the menu idk im outbin America. I would really like my throttle to go a bit faster yeeehaww 😊! Please lmk if you have an idea maybe im pushing the wrong buttons idk, but ill make a video later on but so far i love this bike its awesome!
@christopherogle6811 mines the same, I unlocked the throttle but only get 20mph throttle only, I need to unlock the speed but no idea how. There is a foreign guy showing how to do it, but it's a really bad video and I can't understand the language or what he's doing.
Just one more question once you do this unlock dose it allow you to go over 15.5 MPH while using the pedal assist or is it just for the use of the throttle? Thanks
@@edhall7846 it does, peddle assist will work until you run out of gears and your little legs are spinning around out of control 😂 you'll be able to sustain 20 plus mph easily. 🙂👍

Tried this on an EU version, didn't get it to work. When holding down the plus button the menu just starts stepping through the program numbers after a few seconds. My 01P only says "03" and not "bl 03" as yours says. Maybe the UK version has some different settings there. Hopefully someone figures it out on the EU-model. So still only ~31km/h on the throttle thats unlocked.

I must have some restriction because when I keep the + button pressed the menu goes through all the P very quickly, it doesn't stay at P1 like in the video. Bummer because I feel it's powerful but it doesn't go faster than 32km/h

there is meant to be an Engwe accessory at some point, but it can be done with some diy and a DATEx2
Q: When unlocked, what is the top speed available using *throttle only* (i.e. no-pedal)?

Replaced my handlebar for bmx style, put it back together and now I get Error 5. Anyone help?

@@sammynuggz4209 I think the US version is different. We're restricted to 3.5 mph on the throttle and 15 mph on pedal assist. 😟
I am in the UK. had my bike 3months ,throttle locked to 20mph doesn't say "BL" on screen, so this method doesn't work 🤔. Still hoping 🙏

@relaxinthesauna you can go through all the Ps. P-1 to P-17 the issue is it not saying BL before the 03 ect

@@frankgallagher7812 or try for 3 sec +- and then immediately + for 15 sec and go to p08 then you can set the speed , try it
