That SD Chargers game around the 8 minute mark, when they played the patriots, makes me feel so bad for Marty Schottenheimer. He told that player before the game that he would make an interception and coached him to get down. He did not get down, fumbled, and Marty was fired after going 14-2. He had the worst luck but was an amazing HC

    • @aarondigby5054

Marty was worried about that "gleeem" wtf. Just couldn't quite get it done. That 14-2 Chargers team was his best chance and they blew the "gleeem" again, even his 13-3 Chiefs team had that "gleeem" what happened to the "gleeem" never heard that phrase in a huddle of players. Marty list me that time.

He was an amazing head coach but his playoff chokes weren't really his fault. He allowed a 98 yard drive, had his running back fumble at the ONE YARD LINE to win the game, had his kicker miss three field goals and lose 10-7 and a few other chokes. RIP Marty Schottenheimer

Good video, a few misses though. One, all games that ended 3-0, weather it was in mud or a dome it was painful. Also bit surprised that there wasn’t a wasted miracle bit with the river side rally and the broncos getting a Hail Mary yet failing on the two point conversation.

The worst way to lose a game in NFL History has to be to be in field goal range up 28-20 with 4:40 seconds left in the 4th after leading 28-3 and not running the god damn football no matter what! Literally ALL you had to do, you drain timeouts and go up 11 even if you don't gain another yard. Makes absolutely no sense, heartbreaking.

off topic...but does pat summeralls voice bring anyone else back in time? theres something about his voice that not only transports me to the 80s/ 90s NFL....but also makes me feel good. maybe because those years were the best time of my life....or maybe because i loved to listen to him call a football game. idk.

1995 steelers at packers. Final seconds. Steelers down 24-19, have a 4th and goal deep in Packers territory. Neil o'donnell throws a perfect pass to pro bowl reciever, yancey thigpen. Thigpen is wide open, but he dropped the ball. Green bay takes over, and they win their first division title since 1982. That was more of a heartbreaker for the lions since Detroit would've won the nfc central with a Pittsburgh win. The steelers already had a first round bye, and the chiefs were already the #1 seed. So bill cowher had no gain from winning, or any loss by losing

0:30 Packers fans old enough to remember still rejoice when we see this play by the Cardinals. I haven't watched all the way yet but that 2010-11 Deshaun Jackson punt return to beat the Giants also sent the Packers to the playoffs, and the pack won the SB that year. Also the worst way to lose was the 4th and 26 McNabb to Pinkerton. The Packers beating the bears 4th and 18 Rodgers to Cobb was a crazy one, and who could forget the miracle in the motor city? Rodgers to Rodgers. But the absolute worst way to lose was the Fail Mary. Actually i take it back, the Brandon Bostic onside kick flub was the worst

•true story~ Antonio Freeman, the guy who was the receiver on the “He did what “ play….
welp, “Buttons” was a highly regarded youth athlete who was two years younger than I, “took” my spot on my HS Basketball team.
He was great tho, set some records (since broken by one of my best friends 😂) but I wasn’t mad at him for that. Nope….
it was this girl, I really liked her, he did as well.
took my spot and took my girl 😂
I hold no grudges and I was always happy for his success at VTech and in the NFL.
    #BaltimoreProud
I have a couple of other interesting stories competing against young men who would go on to be professional athletes. Played alongside a couple as well. I was blessed with the opportunities, my Sam Cassell story is freaking hilarious 😂😂😂
