When NFL Throwback posts yall know it’s gonna be a banger
The best bangers.
The NFL normally pisses me off but this is one of the things they do that I appreciate
says alot about todays NFL… a snoozefest
@@sweezy1715It’s only bcuz hard ass hits is outlawed & shit. That’s the only reason why & another great reason is the rule changes that was made by & voted in by the 32 owners & pos Goodell to benefit tf outta the offenses & punishes the hell outta the defenses 💯💯💯 Bcuz they wanna see more TDs & FGs aka any points at all bcuz when a team scores, the home field fans will get loud & celebrate & cheers with their beers in hand 🍻 inside the stadium & at home & in the bars all around the world. That makes em a lil more extra money bcuz what’s the official beer of the NFL again? Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯
Man hell yeah, and those are the videos WORTH watching
Missing Lions Saints 2017. Lions trailed 45-10 late in the third before coming back and getting the ball while trailing 45-38. They ended up throwing a pick-six on that drive and lost 52-38. Game was crazy and featured five non-offensive touchdowns.
Came to say the same. Jamal Agnew's punt return was wild.
Was at that game. Was half expecting this one to be on the list easy, lol!
@aRBy125 me too! It was crazy and loud!
Had they completed that comeback, it'd probably stand as the record for biggest comeback in history for decades, at least. One of the strangest games I've ever watched.
1:45 this is always going to be one of the funniest moments in the NFL. The way how OBJ stepped over Josh Norman always have me dead 💀💀💀
What's even funnier is Beckham acting like he's Jerry Rice or someone because he made a crazy catch and had like, 4 good seasons. Since then he's been on 3 teams and done absolutely nothing.
One of the most overrated, overhyped players of the last 20 years. Playing in New York and being a complete media whore will do that.
Nothing better than seeing him waste away in Baltimore catching 2 passes a game.
Here come all the kids who saw his catch and his dumbass behavior and fell in love with the guy angry at me because I'm telling the truth. 😂 save it
I'm a HUGE OBJ fan but as a Panther fan I know OBJ pushed off on that play and if not Norman knocks the ball to the ground. That's why he was screaming for a flag at the end. Nonetheless, that step-over was funny as hell!
@@timmyspovthey were holding each other the whole game this game is what I watched after I left my father's wake and I truly needed the laughs I was getting from watching
@@laidbacksage2574 Sorry for your loss, and yeah they were definitely going at it! So I can see why the ref let it go. Josh probably held OBJ at the top of the route lol.
That play also gave us towel Cam nodding, so I'm grateful for that too as a Panthers fan 😂
Al Michaels legendary call of "by their skinny teeth teeth" after the Rams Buccs game won't be forgotten for a long time.. 😂😂😂😂
Arguably my favorite one was 2007 Titans vs. Texans. The fact Sage Rosenfels nearly overcame a 25 point deficit and that Rob Bironas kicked 8 field goals makes it bonkers.
1993 Bucs and Falcons was one of the most obscure almost-comebacks in NFL History and I am glad it was shown here.
That Panthers vs Giants game was hectic. I thought the Panthers would lose
If Eli had pulled it off. It would of been one of the greatest comebacks ever. And would of ended the Panthers quest for a perfect season, the Falcons eventually did that the next week.
@@bigrich6075Idk how tf Hawks did it that yr bcuz Panthers & Cam was clearly the best team in NFC smh. Their D was awesome too with Luke Kuechly before he retired sadly. He was sooo good. A top 3 LB in our era. U cud even argued top 1. But top 3 is more accurate imo bcuz there’s Patrick Willis & Navarro Bowman who was on the same team lmfao. That shit is not fair bcuz Willis was a MONSTER yo real talk! But as good as the Panthers D was that yr? They ran into & played against arguably a top 3 (arguably top #1 imo) defenses of all time in the Denver Broncos. That Broncos D was just unreal with Talib, Harris jr, Von, Ware, Wolfe etc. They literally battered & beat up & hit my Pats QB TB12 like 27 times (most all time for TB12) & honestly idk how he didn’t get injured in that game & but he finished the whole game & almost even tied it up with that last second 2 point try.
3:51 "By the hair of their skinny teeth teeth" 🤣
I remember the Rams Bucs game. Even though LA was up by so much, I had no confidence in them. Brady had a magic that he would just come back. I want to thank Stafford and Kupp for doing the IMPOSSIBLE and stopping the villain. If Brady would have won I would have lost it. Much to my joy, he did not😃
you missed a huge one! bengals @ dolphins 2019 season in the burrow bowl. 35-12 dolphins lead with 6:45 seconds left in 4th quarter. miami ended up winning in overtime.
bengals scored 23 points in the final 7 minutes to force overtime. including a 40 yard hail mary on last play of regulation and then a 2 pt conversion. fitzmagic was able to get the dolphins in FG range with 0:00 in overtime 😳😳😳😳
& a tank bowl as well
Fun to watch history in nfl
You gotta love a good scoop & score
I love watching nfl throwback videos
Almost comebacks are real tricky
Agreed.
Remember Sept. 24/2023 when the Dolphins lead the Bills 63-13 in the 4th?
Then Buffalo had that "almost comeback" by scoring a touchdown?
70-20 final....hahaha
@@jaydee5326 Denver Broncos
The Pats should've done the qb sneak. It worked literally the next week vs. buffalo, the defending and eventual afc champions
Packers and Rams in 1989.
Halftime score Rams 38 Packers 7
Final score Rams 41 Packers 38
That would have been a 31 point comeback if the Packers had won (but they didn't)
@@LaslowF1997 True, but this is a video called "almost comebacks".
Eli we miss you
Is this the last time for Manning vs Brady II?
As a Niner fan it still blows my mind we couldn’t get a TD when within 5 from the goal line and a first down. Was always Hardbaugh and Kaeps weakness.
Damn really? It was 1st & goal at the 5 yard line? Man you’re in the SB. U need to score that especially when ur down by +4 & there’s less than 4 mins left to the game. U just have to score & take the lead no matter what. U have 4 fuckin downs to get 5 yards so that’s what??? 1.2 yard a down??? That’s pathetic & pitiful bro no offense but I’m sure u agree with me tho. A lot of my homies are 49ers fans so I root them on pretty hard after my Pats. Just like this yr & for the last few yrs. This yr is special tho & just gotta knock on wood that they’re all healthy & honestly I say 49ers represent the NFC in the SB if they’re all healthy 💯💯💯 We’ll soon find out & see tho. What a game this Sunday right my friend? Lmfao
The play calling was depressingly bad on the last series. If either Kaep or Gore tried to run it in and been shut down 4 times, then I think I could feel some sense of acceptance
@@bryanpaulgilbert7308 - exactly. Harbaugh should get as much shit as Pete Carrol for when he didn’t give Beast mode the ball on the 1 yard line. Because Harbaugh had first down. He had Gore and Kaep who were both incredible runners. Kaeps biggest weakness was his arm.
Plus, there was 2 minutes left. They should’ve been bleeding clock as well
@@kevinandrewsphoto 100%
2015 Panthers had a season worth of these
As a Panthers fan... True. There's a reason we, and other cat teams, were called the Cardiac Cats.
That Ramsey pick over the top against the Falcons was a thing of beauty
My team lost but looking back on it that Giants vs Panthers game was one of my favorite games in recent memory. I feel like that game was an iconic moment of the 2010-2019 decade.
As a Ravens fan that Superbowl was anxiety inducing. Ravens are known for dropping the ball in the second half but that power outage almost signed their death certificate.
There were so many of these near comebacks I never knew about, being born in 1995. However, they all have one theme in common. You never give up, always play to the end, and anything is possible.
That Washington vs Cardinals game brings back some good memories.
This is the upload I never thought I needed to watch
Funny how the Bucs nearly had a comeback AND blew a huge lead in the same damn season
2021 Cooper Kupp was unstoppable, just got reminded by that bucs rams playoff game, bro deserved MVP that year unquestionably
That’s the only way an offensive plyr other than a QB can possibly win the MVP that yr. U gotta have record breaking seasons & shit lol. He was the triple crown wasn’t he? Like most yards, receptions, & TDs right? If I’m not mistaken, that’s hard af to do lol. Just like in baseball. Kupp is a stud yo. Real talk. And Stafford is smart. Just throw it his way lol
After Dwight Clark caught the pass from Joe Montana; Danny White damn near drove to a score afterwards... not acknowledged much
45:18 and that was an NFL record most field goals in a game with 8
I would like to see compilations of teams actually coming back from a deficit, taking a lead, and then getting it taken away shortly at the last second.
Haven't watched this yet but seeing the Hawks almost comeback vs Carolina would've been absolutely amazing if they won. Give Seattle 2 more minutes, they would've won the game no doubt.
Naw that 2015 Hawks team was running on fumes at that point. I think Carolina was set to win regardless
@@tomato2517I don’t think you watched the game then. Seattle had a furious comeback and really just ran out of time/dug themselves too deep of a hole.
@@tomato2517dude, that second half seattle outscored them 24-0, one more possession and they would have sealed that game
@@sweezy1715okay and first half panthers outscored them 31 to nothing. They lost, im sorry?
@@blizzyblobBruh the point of OP was if Seahawks had just 2 more mins & the ball? They win that game & I gotta say I agree bcuz the Seahawks Wilson magic was a real thing. They even won the NFC championship game vs pos Packers & Mr. Fat ass Mike McCarthy who was carried by Rodgers. By McCarthy & some dumbasses on the Packers doin super boneheaded shit? All of us true & real football fans missed out on the only SB match between two prime top 10 QBs/GREATs of all time in Rodgers vs my Pats & the undisputed #1 goat TB12! Whoever got that interception from Wilson with like 4-5 mins left up 12-15 & instead of running it possibly all the way back for a td or at the very least get into easy fg range to increase the lead? This dumbass Packers plyr just gave himself up & went down & then got up hella celebrating like the game was 100% over 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯
So that’s the Cam Newton gif 😂😂😂 1:58
As a younger football fan who has read football books so I know some big names, I cannot imagine how Ray Lewis and Ed Smith on the same team at the same time could be fair…
Peyton owned them lol!
Damn that Panther defense collapsed hard again the Giants, no wonder why they freaking lost in the damn Super Bowl.
They held their own in that SB vs the Broncos offense surprisingly tho 100% & gave up only 17 total points but no one could’ve & would’ve been able to beat that Broncos #1 (a top 3 D of all time bruh) D that yr. They was on a mission. Bcuz they had been building a SB defense to win it all for a few yrs.. Bcuz when Manning got there, their O picked up like hella & was actually the #1 O either all time or was for that season when they ran into the Seahawks #1 D in the SB & got embarrassingly blown tf out lmfao. So they had that crushing blowout SB loss in their minds/heart/souls & they used that as motivation & Elway/Fox built an UNSTOPPABLE D to get back to the SB but this time they was not to be denied. That D is a top 3 D all time my friend. They even beat the GOAT TB12 & my Pats in the AFC championship game.
1997 was the best year for NFL football...
Both defenses were the best units on the field for each of them. The Panthers defense played way more than well enough for them to win that game (held the Broncos to less than 200 yards of offense), but the Broncos just were able to get more impactful plays in the end
Panthers didn't lose the super bowl because of their defense genius like what do you even talking about 🤦🏿♂️
Another NFL throwback W.
Love watching these!
Rams/Bucs was a ginormous relief. Almost lost my voice after the Rams escaped with it, clearly my hatred of Brady knows no bounds
Always feel bad for Rodgers in the 09 loss. Had one of the greatest playoff performances ever, only to lose because his defense was completely worthless. What a theme that would be for his career.
Also he got facemasked on that last play, fumble shouldnt have counted and only happened because the pass rusher almost broke Rodgers' neck
Cardinials really need to bring back that end zone graphic
I’ll never forget the Niners and Ravens SuperBowl 😭
11:33 - Great play. Should've tried it in the Super Bowl, lol!
no one should have a problem with this list
NFLTB be right on time!
Falcons: Not just the Super Bowl, but can three Other games Be Part of this???
20:01 this was your 1998 version of the Cardiac Cards but usually they fell behind and came back and won. This one was the 2nd crazy game against the Redskins. 2 weeks prior the teams went back and forth even trading FG's in the final 40 seconds with the Cards winning by 2. This one, the Cards jumped to a 31-0 lead only for the Redskins to claw back to within 3. The Cards ended up winning by 3. 38:50, this game happened in between the 2 Redskins games I mentioned. The worst part of this game was the obvious pass interference on Dallas. But not to worry, the Cards would exact revenge in the playoffs when they spanked Dallas 20-7 in Dallas.
lions vs niners 2021 week 1??? how in the world is that not here???
Hell yes I was bored all day. Finally something to watch!!
1983 NFC Championship game great comeback for the Niners
Awesome video
It was interesting that the Falcons were down 28-3 against the Rams in 2022.
Crazy Almost Comeback In NFL History Dallas Cowboys Against New York Giants From 1992 Thanks For Uploading
That power outage in the Ravens/9ers SB is still sketchy to me to this day.
Bro I will never forget that Panthers Giants game. Remember when Josh Norman was walking around with a baseball bat?
remember when Cam had one good year, gloated, dabbed, and got his a%% handed to him in the Super Bowl?
And people swear to this day he was a top 5 QB and perennial MVP candidate
Mostly a lot of people defending their own if you know what I mean.. even when he was clearly an average at best passer every year other than 2015.
Where is Cincinnati knocking Baltimore out of the 2017 playoffs and getting the Bills in their first playoff spot in years as a result?
he said "thats yo job Dude,....
but Brian aint goin nowhere....
The Epic in Miami with the hook and ladder play great game
🔥 Fire 🔥
That panthers giants game in 2015… what a classic man
34:34 for PANTHERS/SEAHAWKS 2015 HEADER
That Panthers Giants game was also the infamous OBJ vs Josh Norman game too.
2012 Atlanta Falcolns are one of the most forgotten teams in nfl history, solid 13-3 team and they had a 4th qt lead in the NFC championship that year against San Fran
37:17 That game will always sting a little as a Pats fan, after nearly 3 whole quarters of complete ineptitude by the offense, Mac Jones and Kendrick Bourne caught fire and torched the Bengals defense with those unanswered points, that strip Judon made on Chase was awesome and clutch, but it's so unfortunate that Stevenson was the one who f**ked it up in the end. I know many people hate Mac Jones, and I honestly feel he'd be more respected today if the Pats pulled off that win.
Where is Green Bay Vs Carolina 2015? That was nuts.
As a giants fan I’ll never forget da obj and Josh Norman game bro we were down by 28 almost came back but lost because our defense was trash that year
19:00 that was a full comeback though, San Diego was down 7 pts and they came back and won
Rams/Bucs was hilariously insane
By the hair of their skin teeth teeth?? Wtf did you just say?? 😂😂
I Love Your Video 📸 NFL Throwback Keep Up The Good Work Sir
A lot of the same teams involved in these...
Cardinals, Panthers, Buccaneers, Bills, Dolphins, 49ers, Chargers, Broncos, Colts, Patriots, Falcons, and Rams
The cardinals end zone from 1998 is nice
Y’all left out the Seattle at Green Bay game in the divisional round when Russell brought him back from 23 to 3 at halftime and lost at the end
This was super entertaining 😎
37:15 Am I tripping or are Kurt Warner and Jake Delhomme going back and forth? Kurt is like "Yeah mf say it... Say it"
Crazy seeing the falcons here a lot. They blow leads all the time, and they almost blow leads as well
Only NFL throwbacks could make this happen🎯😉
I forget the harboughs faced off in the super bowl
If this were a newer video, the packers and cowboys wild card game would be on here
Both Mannings lose in an epic almost come back
I remember one time the Falcons had a 28-3 lead and almost ... Oh wait!
Missing the Lions vs 49ers game in 2021. Lions were down 41-17 with less than 6 minutes left and cut the deficit to 41-33. Then they recovered a Deebo Samuel fumble and had a chance to win with 58 seconds left.
2015 when the Panthers were a great team they were 15-1
20:19 how is that a td? 💀 refs back then were really that bad?
Yeah. The refs have always been.
His knee is definitely down before, but the ball looks to me like it crosses/hits the pylon.. It's a bad call for sure but I don't think they had replay back then. And a bunch of refs that were 60+ years of age trying to call bang bang plays like that when they can barely read a book without a telescope will do that 😂
I'd argue the refs back then were a little better than they are today. The refs today are an absolute joke.
I didn’t know that about the falcons. Sheesh 😢
Steelers comeback down 28-7 vs jags should’ve been on here
I swear, Cam Newton refuses to dive on the ball, he refused in the superbowl and again in the 4th quarter when it mattered of this game.
The rams Bucs 2021 Divisional Round game was movie
Would have been the greatest comeback of Brady’s career
92 Giants vs Cowboys clip the crowd was LOUD!!!!
Why does the announcer from the Redskins and Cardinals game in 1998 sound like Krusty the Clown lol
this should be called nfl covering the spread
lol i thought the exact thing
OMG 😱 😱😱😱😱WHAT THE
Mike Emrick broadcasting football????????????????? AWESOME 😎
That last game, it didn't really matter who won because the Saints were gonna massacre them anyway
27:00 the call on the field was incomplete pass and the Lions challenged the play, but they had already used 2 challenges in that game (only one successful) so they were technically not allowed to challenge any longer but the refs missed it and allowed the challenge (which was successful, because it was legits a catch). True story.
Oh man, I forgot about that! The refs really screwed the pooch that time!
Yeah, that was messed up, but I started Johnnie Morton in my fantasy league that day, so I was happy :-)
Neither team was very good that year though.
No, but that game was early in the season, so we didn't know that yet
I was watching at my friends' house, neither one of us could believe it
This was crazy.....................
If kupp hadnt absolutely torched his man. Brady would still be getting rings we all know this.
Cooper Kupp killed a kid.
Alliteration is always accurate.
Great times in the 2000s
Who else never knew Doc Emrick called NFL games?
One of my favorite NFL teams that explains the history of the NFL
I love it when announcers say "going DEEP!" like it's not a porn reference.
There’s like 5 browns games from 2020 that can fit on this list
The one against the Titans where I believe they were up 35-0 (something close to that) I remember the most as far as regular season, and then of course the playoff game against the Steelers being up 35-7
Sunday, December 3rd 2023, the Eagles will have an ALMOST Comeback against the 49ers
That niners loss to the ravens still hurts way worse more than the chiefs, how could you pass four straight times to crabtree, why not hand it off to frank gore
