Oh wow I knew about these classic games between Eagles v Lions and Ravens v Vikings but I had no idea they were on the same day! Crazy how both games started out so low scoring but then exploded in the final quarter

What a day. I remember where I was and who I watched football with this day. That Eagles Lions game is one of my most memorable games I've ever watched
I've been to Lambeau during snow and cold games! Yikes! There are no seats in Lambeau - only metal benches. You literally freeze your ass off!
You see? THIS right here is why the northeast is by far the toughest region to play football in. After October, you never know what type of crappy weather you'll have to overcome each week
Watching these games live and then going outside to reenact the plays in snow was peak childhood🥲

This was also the day the Patriots had a wild comeback against the Browns. Insane red zone weekend.
As a lions fan that eagles game will always be an all timer. Shit was so wild watching it pile up like crazy through the day. Calvins face mask full of snow is classic

I started watching in 1963 as a boy with my very strict, hard-nosed father, we loved these games, Boston guys, football should be played outdoors in the elements, that's the way it was, part of the game, freezing, ice, snow, wind, mud, today's indoor stadiums, no hitting the QB, no tackling certain ways, the NFL has changed drastically and not for the better, I know most people won't agree but that's just my opinion.
Honestly, I want to agree with you, but when you realize how mentally messed up a lot of players were post-football career, some of the changes i hope are for the better. but i really do miss that hard-nosed era of football. it was the classic NFL!

Absolutely adrenaline. When I would be in a below freezing cross country race and we had to wear our uniforms with no cover on legs or arms, you just didn't feel it after the first minute

The offense does it so the defensive players don't have anything to hold on to.
I will always remember the Lions vs Eagles game. I was in Spokane for a football tryout. I ended up getting a concussion, blacked out, stayed in the hospital for a night then watched this game the next day. Oh good times lol
Ten years ago today! I was in Pennsylvania visiting my in-laws and went back and forth between the Eagles and Steelers games.

I was a junior in high school during this week living in Maryland. The whole Northeast got blanketed by snow that evening. I watched the Ravens Vikings game be a snooze fest for 58 minutes before becoming a classic. Also watched the Lesean McCoy breakout Lions game, that was crazy

I remember this day vividly. Was at the packers falcons game, don’t remember being cold. I do remember the crazy pic six and the packers comeback. I do remember watching the highlights from the eagles lions game on the video board at lambeau field and being shocked the amount of snow in Philly. This was a nice flashback. One of the best football Sunday’s of the 2010’s perhaps

I went to the Pats Browns game this weekend and was bummed we missed out on the snow. Moving up into the first section after the pats were down 26-14 at the two minute warning and seeing a classic Brady comeback made up for the lack of snow though!

These three games Eagles Ravens and Steelers were classics. I lived in Nashville so it was the Colts losing to the Bengals and then the Titans losing to the Broncos would much rather watched one of those games

What really hurt was thinking Murray, a one-cut downhill runner, would be a good option for his shotgun- RPO style offense. Trading DJax was worth it, since he was always hurt at that time, but the McCoy move *stunk*

As much as I advocate for all games to be played in domes for fair play across the board. I love inclement weather games. It's a shame they can't be a scheduled thing that can be done for a week of games where all players have to play in the same conditions.
