It's so strange to listen to a live version of this song without every single soul in the entire stadium/arena singing along. Holy cow, this is truly a gem, and this was like two weeks before the release of the album!

Yeah, I was. I went to Glastonbury in 1999 and when I looked at my souvenir book years later I discovered they were also performing in 1999. I never would of known and now they are huge worldwide. 🙂
Wow. Amazing performance of the band, I'm also pretty sure that people at this time couldn't imagine that these four guys were going to become one of the best (the best to me) band more than 10 years later. Awesome festival, awesome guys, awesome band & awesome song. Love it ♥
Wow, I have thought about this performance a lot. The year before, the outstanding song of the show was Travis with Driftwood. Then Coldplay played this and Travis pretty much was killed off.
We came to pick you up after this gig in your bus with Phill. We accidentally stole your discman in our food bag. Sorry about that... We did, naïvely, try to get it back to you! Don't pick up the hippies your tour manager said! Glad it didn't do you any harm ;-) xx
His monitors were not working. He couldn’t hear the guitar or bass through the speakers aimed at him. Old school stuff. Now days they have ear monitors. 4 years late but here’s the answer.
back in the old days, when they were just four guy who kept british rovk music alive. They should have stoped after viva la vida and look proudly to a successfull career :/
