My mom had been feeling uneasy about me watching it so young, but then was relieved. BUT THEN...she put on Nightmare Before Christmas thinking I would be fine and I LOST MY MIND IN TERROR.

About the hemisphere confusion, I would like to clarify that any half of the sphere is considered a hemisphere. There are a hell lot of places in the eastern hemisphere where its Wednesday when the stream starts including India, where I am from. So yeah, you're using the word correctly. Also love your videos❤️

Yes, I wondered about the "hemisphere" term myself, so I looked it up. Apparently, any 1/2 of our globe is considered a hemisphere just as Safiya uses the word.
Ghostwriter! I watched that when I was really young and in the 3rd season, there was the slime monster. That thing scared me for years. Also, Sleepy Hollow, the witch scene was freaky.

You're right about American chocolate and especially hershey's chocolate being "sour". It contains butyric acid (the acid that gives vomit its distinctive smell and taste) either added as acid directly or via controlled lipolysis. It usually is extremely off-putting to Europeans 😅
I saw Jurassic Park age 4 in the cinema too. Loved it lol. My little sister saw it at an appropriate age, and she is still scared of it. In Scarborough, England there is a really so-bad-it's-good walk through with scenes from scary films, and one room is like a jungle, and you can see two small animatronic Raptors so you expect them to do something. Then while you are distracted a T-Rex head the size of a Mini Cooper bursts through the leaves roaring at you. Went through with my sister this year (aged 33 and 29) and she FREAKED THE FRICK OUT and slammed to the floor in full earthquake response mode 😂 Even better that is where the experience photo gets taken, so ours is just a blur of her hitting the deck 😂 x
Ok I totally understand if the answer is no but IF you have an Instagram account or something where I could see this picture of your sister, I would really truly love to see it because this comment made me laugh SO hard
It's not just that Hershey's Kisses are made with sour milk, it's that all Hershey's chocolate is... or, more accurately, it's made with cooked milk (which tastes sour), so it could travel before there were refrigerated trucks.
the moment when tyler said saf might have put too much powder for the frosting/sauce and she looked so sad and then tyler was like sdufeubfseni was so cute i'm //w//
54:54 I get Saf zeroing on the shoelace, but looking closer the background shoe doesn't have the same and is, in general... less detailed. That was really sneaky!
My guess is that the shoe in the front that Saf was focusing on was a real shoe, and only the one in the back that you can’t see as well was cake. Very tricky
The part about the hemispheres reminds me of Matt Parkers video about how many holes things have. The hemispheres made me think about drawing circles on a globe to split them into the hemispheres, and part of matt's video is about how you can draw circles on objects and the number of types of circles you can draw indicates how many holes the object has
32:03 Hershey’s chocolate is made with butyric acid which gives the that taste. It’s also in artificial banana flavouring…and vomit. Which is why American chocolate tastes like vomit to most non Americans. Edit: omg Pinocchio fucked me up. I’m still scared.
The soured milk/hersheys thing is true!!! That’s why anyone who’s not American hates American chocolate. As a person from the uk I think it tastes like sick, which is a shame because reese’s are made by hersheys and I love peanut butter😔
Yeah I’m American and I’m surrounded by people who think Hershey’s is the best chocolate ever. Makes me sad they don’t enjoy real chocolate. Not only does Hershey’s have that acid in it, it’s like the bare minimum cocoa content needed to be called chocolate. I wish they would just call it chocolate candy because that’s kinda what it is
Whoopi pie is the perfect dessert for PA. The next time you come north to visit your family you should take a day trip over into Pennsylvania Dutch territory (Berks and Lancaster County's) to see some sights and get some different kinds of Whoopi pies.

Listening to Tyler talk about tastykake butterscotch krimpets made me so happy. NO ONE knows what they are but they are DELICIOUS! I had them growing up in New York and now living in the south they are nowhere to be found! I’ve only seen them once since moving and it was in a mom and pop shop in Port St. Lucie Florida and the people who ran it were from Pennsylvania! Which I’m sure is the only reason they had them. I REMEMBER THE LANGOLIERS!!! They scared the crap out of me! I can still remember the scene where they are flying away from the airport and the langoliers eat it!
My sister convinced my Nan to take us to the first Jurassic Park film in cinemas and my nan was hesitant because she thought it'd be too scary for me being so little. But my sister insisted that I loved dinosaurs haha I was probably 3-4 years old and I spent almost the entire time in fetal position on my nan's lap haha My sister was born in 88 and I was born in 92. I was so traumatized that its one of the earliest memories I have lol It's totally fine though because now Horror and True Crime are my fav genres so nothing really scares me anymore. Years later my sister convinced my parents to rent the Blair Witch Project while we were on a family vacay. So we all watched it as a family, I was probably only about 8-9. I made my sister push our single beds together that night and struggled to sleep plus had nightmares for a while after that haha

Fennel is underrated. I feel like most Americans don’t even know what it is outside of fennel seeds. It’s funny to watch someone’s face while they go through the thought “but fennel is a seed! …Oh I guess seeds come plants …and that’s the plant? And it’s edible??” 😂
I REMEMBER THE LANGOLIERS!!! They scared the crap out of me! I can still remember the scene where they are flying away from the airport and the langoliers eat it!
These videos are so funny Tyler just talks and talks while Safiya is so focused on the task that she just ignores him.
Mmmh, meat-red cake and tan frosting. The essence of cursed. This is 4 degrees away from the Necronomicon's human skin pages.
My sister convinced my Nan to take us to the first Jurassic Park film in cinemas and my nan was hesitant because she thought it'd be too scary for me being so little. But my sister insisted that I loved dinosaurs haha
I was probably 3-4 years old and I spent almost the entire time in fetal position on my nan's lap haha
My sister was born in 88 and I was born in 92.
Love this kind of stream, but it feels like a lot of the fun is take away if this was done beforehand and they saw the result. Means there’s no real surprise.
safs blush looks so pretty here 🥺
I've had nightmares of that velociraptor hide & seek scene for years as a kid. I still sometimes get them now 🤣
Being from Maine and listening to Tyler explain what a whoopie pie is hurt my heart a little, not gonna lie... 😜
Don't know why I looked this up but Olive Oil guy is Marco Pierre White and he was indeed Gordon Ramsay's teacher.
Oh my gosh! Tyler! I was born in PA and I love Tastykakes!!! I have lived in Utah most of my life and every once in a while a grocery store will bring them in!
“No thoughts just vibes”!! = best selling T-shirt 😂😂😂
The Langoliers was scary for me as a kid because of the experience existential dread as time is consumed.
36:38 thank you Tyler!!! Everyone thinks I’m weird for likening mustard in my pretzels!!
