THANK YOU for that bit about the aspect ratio! I don't like it, it's a lazy way to make something look "cinematic" and all it does for a TV show which will never be seen in cinemas is make the screen smaller!

I'm an old fart (52) and I haven't been this excited for new Doctor Who for a long time.
IMHO the show entered it's second Wilderness Years in 2017, the Chibnall/Whitaker era doesn't exist in my personal head canon.
The only thing that I am looking forward to more than these specials is seeing Harry's reviews!
This is depressing. Sure it might be the best duo in modern Who coming back but the old writers and directors are not. This will be a DEI, multicultural, diverse, inclusive pile of crap covered in homosexuals. The modern BBC will not allow one episode of Dr Who without that stuff.
What are you on about? RTD is coming back as well as the showrunner. Theres at the very least a little hope for a bit of the old magic.

Doctor Who’s always been inclusive? What are you talking about. Problem with past series of wasn’t that it was inclusive, it was that the writing was bad and they seemed to prioritise diversity over better writing, won’t be the case here.
