Remember for best results to keep the receiver and transmitters in line of site of each other so the audio doesn’t cut out. Yea man I totally agree. The audio from this mic is super clean. Sounds great. I literally didn’t edit the audio in this video. This is straight out of camera audio with this mic kit.
I thought the audio was best with the outdoor setting rather than in your office. I think this was because out of doors you had the windmuff on & the mic was vertical pointing at your mouth. Indoors the mic was pointing sideways.
I have an X5 and I definitely think it sounds best pointing at my mouth.

Would this be a good alternative to the dji mic set for motovlogging?
Yes the mic build is good quality and the audio sounds great. Battery life for many hours. Great charging hub design.
Does the receiver and transmitter fit in a cold shoe?
Hey Ed. Yes 100% the receiver and transmitter fits inside a cold shoe mount. You can see the receiver mounted to the cameras additional cold show mount that is mounted on the top handle at 10:05 in this video.

If I Can Use This Mics As The Same as Dji Mics I Will Buy This Mics X5 ASAP.
DJI Mic, Fulaim X5 and the Rode Wireless Go are not audio interfaces. They are just wireless microphone systems. You can connect all of them to a computer. You have to go to your audio settings on your computer and select USB microphone for you audio input. So the short answer is yes, it will work on your computer if you follow the steps I’ve provided.

Does it have a build in on-board recording without the use of a phone or camera? Does it also record a back-up just incase or for whatever reason the signal goes out?
Hello Stilmotion, yes this mic kit does not need to be used with a phone or camera for the on board recording feature to work. You can start recording at any time with no device connected to this X5 wireless mic kit. All you have to do is active the recording on the transmitter. And for your next question, yes it does record a back up audio file if the mic cuts out. You just have to initiate the recording feature by starting the recording on the transmitters. Hope this helps and answers your questions.
can you attach a lav microphone
Yes 100% you can. There is a 3.5mm mic input jack at the top of each transmitter. I have tested it with Lav mic and the audio sounds great. This kit just doesn’t not include the Lav mics with the kit. But if you already have Lav mics then they will plug right into the transmitters.
@@LEOPAZZOPRODUCTIONS that’s great because from all of the reviews no one has mentioned that you can use a lav with it unless I didn’t hear you thanks again.
@@WeShootFilmsyes I mention this about using Lav mics with this kit at section 10:46 where I talk about how the Lav mics are not included with the kit but we can plug in Lav mics into the transmitters. As I also show a Lav mic being plugging in into 1 of the transmitters at the top with the standard 3.5mm Lav mic connect.
where is the memory card slot?
the memory card is internal. you just plug it into your computer and transfer the files that way. via usbc to usb cable
