DaveClass47 Liquid Pigments cannot be used on resin products, because the will not adhere. Liquid Pigments was specifically formulated for coloring porous materials, such as Plaster Cloth, Lightweight Hydrocal®*, plaster, foam, wood and papier mache. Hope this helps, and thanks for you interest!
@Woodland Scenics I have one question: I used you're powder pigments on a cardboard sidewalk. It looks amazing! But can i seal this also with scenic cement? Does it work on cardboard, and the powder pigments?
@@ModelSceneryExpert i'm so stupid. It's not a product from you, but from "Noch"! I did buy products from you, and accidently i thought this pigments where also from you're company. Sorry for my mistake. But thank you for the answer. Oh wait: When i use you're liquid pigments on cardbox, is it than possible to use scenic pigments? Thank you so much! xx
Yes, Scenic Cement will permanently seal Earth Colors Liquid Pigments to cardboard. Do not saturate the cardboard with the Scenic Cement otherwise the cardboard will warp. Mist the Scenic Cement onto the cardboard in light layers. Let the layers set before adding another. Repeat as needed until the area colored by the Pigment is coated in Scenic Cement.
Yes, you would color your rocks in the same type of process. I have included a link to a video on our Website that is a demonstration on coloring rocks. The video is Color Plaster Rocks with Earth Colors Liquid Pigments, I would recommend watching this video. woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/video/ColorPlasterRocksECLP
The size of the cup you need will depend on how much you are mixing. For example, if you are mixing 1 oz to 16 oz, you would need to make sure you have a cup that will hold 17 oz.

We are unfamiliar with a powder pigment. All of our pigments are liquid. Can you tell us what the product name is?
