I do not think that either Micaiah or Sanaki ever achknowledge that Sephiran is their many times great grandfather directly. I think it would end up being quite funny if one of them called him Grandpa and he ended up quite flustered. For very minor characters in the grand scheme of things Astrid and especially Haar have a good amount of boss conversations during Endgame. Which is surprising as I would assume that Boss Conversations would overall focused on more important characters but they took the time to give some minor characters some which is appreciated.
GypsySprite Haar is very good but at the end of the day his story presence is quite minor in the grand scheme of things, better than about half the cast but still I tend to not expect characters who are not important to the plot to get that many boss conversations hence why Haar having so many surprised me a bit
Astrid and Haar mostly get them due to having connections to Begnion. But with how many good boss conversations they gave Haar, it definitely feels like they knew how good he'd be.

Hearing that this man had something to do with the death of Jill's father set me off as much as her. She's been my favorite character of the Tellius Series, and it broke my heart seeing her reduced to such pure rage against the likes of Ashnard and Sephiran...
Say what you will about this game's writing, but I think it's got the best boss conversations in the series. I LOVE how they incorporate most people even slightly linked to Begnion in these dialogues. I really wish the later games would do this. You don't even need gigantic speeches per character: look how short Tanith's conversation is here and it's still really characterful for her.
BigKlingy I know right?! I really wish they had the “awakening support” mechanic so to speak. Being able to see the A support or even C/B support videos would’ve been a masterful way to display all these supports. Plus the dialogue could’ve used the “True Story” JPN Maniac treatment.
I like how the lazy haar is one of the only ones to really make sephiran question the path he chose. He instantly knows the senators are what turned sephiran into the man he became.

Yes, but you do realize that they could have just relocalized Kysha as Kyza, and when they were doing the PAL translation, they weren't aware of the change, or thought it was a typo they were "fixing".
That last paragraph... doesn't make any sense. It was spelled Kysha in Path of Radiance. Why would they "re-localize" a name they already did in a previous game? Clearly what happened was the US script writers forgot/didn't know the name appeared in Path of Radiance. Which is understandable since he never physically appeared in PoR. (The Deghinsea > Dheginsea one is less excusable) So the PAL version was a correction. And seeing as the PAL version corrected Deghinsea and "Heron Queen Lilia" (changed to Princess, which is what it said in Japanese), I'm inclined to trust that version.

Also I've been playing n sane trilogy so I can share thoughts when you play crash 1 and 3, but I got curious about why Clash of Titans gets alot of a flak. I saw Tiny boss evolution and when I saw CoT Tiny...... ugh. I hope our descendants NEVER have to witness such an eldritch abomination.
I think the last Crash game I played was Tag Team Racing, which I didn't like very much, so I skipped Titans and Mind Over Mutant. It was probably a good thing I did. At least with Spyro, the rebooted games were explicit set in an alternate continuity so you didn't have to worry about their differences in character design and elements from the classic games. Crash bounced between multiple different companies after Naughty Dog gave the rights away, which resulted in major inconsistencies between the games. N Sane Trilogy and Nitro Fueled seem to be doing a good job of tying together the best parts of everything, though.

Huh. I wonder why Reyson is the only one of the 3 to not notice who Sephiran was. Rafiel sensed something was up, Leanne somehow knew, yet not Reyson? Even Tibarn noticed something was up, lol. Sephiran's convo with Ike made me feel bad for Soren then got me thinking. Sephiran's meddling hurt Soren but I can see the argument that it hurt Ike by making him emotionally repressed. I'd be super curious to see a what if Sephiran didn't suppress Ike's memories.
He would've grown up traumatized because he literally watched his dad killing a whole village and his mother, probably wouldn't have able to bond with dad over this, and probably wouldn't even learn his swordplay.
I wish modern FE games had this many boss conversations. There's still some good ones, but it's usually only about 5 per major boss and that's if you're lucky.

Micaiah is not only Sanaki's sister, but she is also the granddaughter of Misaha, the last apostle before Sanaki took the throne. All apostles of Begnion are branded with heron blood and this goes all the way back to Altina, who married and started the baby chain with Lehran (aka, Sephiran). In other words, Micaiah is Lehran's great granddaughter in all senses of the relationship. Zelgius was thinking of Sanaki when he said that and the connection is very visible.
Imagine if Rhea were to act like Lehran here in CF. How would she have been recieved by the fans? And on the opposite side, how would Lehran have been seen had he acted like Rhea in CF? What do you think?
It's not exactly a fair comparison since Rhea in CF was insane. Lehran is insane too, but more in a depressed way than a violent one. I'm not the best person to ask about this though since I'm not a fan of CF Rhea, or the CF route in general. While it makes sense with her backstory, I still feel like it was an abrupt 180 to her character in order to make Edelgard look better by comparison.
@@BigKlingy Yeah she lashed more out and reacted more aggressively than he did, but many of their characteristics are similar. Both are victims of Genocide, both covered up events in history, lief about said history with bad consequences, both saved an Mercenary, have an kind-hearted aura, are masters of the Arcane, deeply religious but very much grieve the loss of thier kin. I feel like that had she acted more like Lehran she would be better relieved by the fans , because people tend to react better to more polite villians than violent ones. If Lehran were to be as aggressive as CF Rhea, hd would be more scary and treated maybe as more threatening as an villian than the Immaculate one. I always Imagined in an alternative reality where Lehran is not only very wrathful, but also very condescending towards Ike's plight and views him as ungrateful traitor kinda like CF Rhea to Byleth. Regarding CF, I share you sentiments, they could have made it better and oriented more towards RD than GOTHW. Also I wish an battle between Dheginsea vs Rhea.

So as I said yesterday, I started playing Persona 5 with my friends. Highlights of the first few days: -The reaction to the difficulty select screen was "Wow. They suck". -We named Joker Segata Dink (after memes we're all fans of)... but not before fooling around with the name selection for a bit, as doing that in-context is hilarious. (The best one was 2÷4=1/2 uwu.) -Like Super Paper Mario, we gave characters voices. Sojiro is now Colonial Campbell from Metal Gear, which is hilarious since he's called "Boss". -Everyone loves Ryuji. -We gave Kamoshida the worst voice EVER: It's themed after a bad video about Reshiram that became a meme in my friend's household, and now I hate Kamoshida even MORE than I already did. -Morgana's totally not a cat. TL;DR: It's going well.

THIS! This is why I love the Tellius series. So much lore. Novels worth of text. Radiant Dawn IMO is the most ambitious game in the series.

Micaiah is not only Sanaki's sister, but she is also the granddaughter of Misaha, the last apostle before Sanaki took the throne. All apostles of Begnion are branded with heron blood and this goes all the way back to Altina, who married and started the baby chain with Lehran (aka, Sephiran). In other words, Micaiah is Lehran's great granddaughter in all senses of the relationship.
Zelgius was thinking of Sanaki when he said that and the connection is very visible.

Seems like it. As much as he wanted the Senators to escalate the war, he drew the line at Sanaki being imprisoned and had to intervene there.
Imagine if Rhea were to act like Lehran here in CF. How would she have been recieved by the fans? And on the opposite side, how would Lehran have been seen had he acted like Rhea in CF? What do you think?
It's not exactly a fair comparison since Rhea in CF was insane. Lehran is insane too, but more in a depressed way than a violent one.
I'm not the best person to ask about this though since I'm not a fan of CF Rhea, or the CF route in general. While it makes sense with her backstory, I still feel like it was an abrupt 180 to her character in order to make Edelgard look better by comparison.
@@BigKlingy Yeah she lashed more out and reacted more aggressively than he did, but many of their characteristics are similar. Both are victims of Genocide, both covered up events in history, lief about said history with bad consequences, both saved an Mercenary, have an kind-hearted aura, are masters of the Arcane, deeply religious but very much grieve the loss of thier kin. I feel like that had she acted more like Lehran she would be better relieved by the fans , because people tend to react better to more polite villians than violent ones. If Lehran were to be as aggressive as CF Rhea, hd would be more scary and treated maybe as more threatening as an villian than the Immaculate one. I always Imagined in an alternative reality where Lehran is not only very wrathful, but also very condescending towards Ike's plight and views him as ungrateful traitor kinda like CF Rhea to Byleth.
Regarding CF, I share you sentiments, they could have made it better and oriented more towards RD than GOTHW.
Also I wish an battle between Dheginsea vs Rhea.
Technically they can fight in Heroes.... in their Summer and Halloween forms, and Rhea would have Byleth with her. Still better than nothing.

So as I said yesterday, I started playing Persona 5 with my friends. Highlights of the first few days:
-The reaction to the difficulty select screen was "Wow. They suck".
-We named Joker Segata Dink (after memes we're all fans of)... but not before fooling around with the name selection for a bit, as doing that in-context is hilarious. (The best one was 2÷4=1/2 uwu.)
-Like Super Paper Mario, we gave characters voices. Sojiro is now Colonial Campbell from Metal Gear, which is hilarious since he's called "Boss".
-Everyone loves Ryuji.
-We gave Kamoshida the worst voice EVER: It's themed after a bad video about Reshiram that became a meme in my friend's household, and now I hate Kamoshida even MORE than I already did.
-Morgana's totally not a cat.
TL;DR: It's going well.

@@Axel-1999 I am not saying anything bad about Makalov, i was just pointing out how repetitive RD Astrid is. Almost all crimean characters tell Makalov how bad he is, but Astrid ALWAYS defends him, may it be gambling, drinking before a fight, etc!
