My husband is an aquarius with mercury in aquarius in the 8th house. He lives to shock people by things he says just to get their reaction! He is never afraid to say something "weird" or crazy. He definitely enjoys being different and being a leader rather then a follower. Very broad minded, genius, and has extremely strong beliefs about many things. Luckily I have a lot of gemini and aquarius rising so nothing he says can shock me, as hard as he try's!!!

Drew Barrymore has Mercury in Aquarius. Just started watching her show! I definitely think she's had a big impact on pop culture. After transitioning from her wild child image, she made many movies where she was the nerdy, corny outsider girl. Her message was that it's okay to wear your heart on your sleeve and be loving and emotional. (She's also got Venus and Jupiter in Pisces).
She has a daytime talk show now and she's commented that she's doing it to give back to the community of other daytime hosts. She's felt they were so important to helping her begin and end her day on a positive note and it was much needed.
Mercury ♒️ here ;) some reflections: I often have dreamed of writing a sci-fi book and have had very odd dreams with content for such a book. I’m very compelled by stories of those living on the “fringes” of society. On a macro level, I feel like the social boundaries we erect are very socially constructed and somewhat illusory in nature. I like to push those social limits and challenge ideas around what’s accepted and what’s not accepted. Hope these insights are helpful 🙏 Thank you for this video and for sharing your wisdom!!
Excellent thank you! My 20 yo daughter was born under Aquarius Sun 23° and Aquarius Mercury 25° Rx 5th house. She is very much as you described, innovative, leader in idealistic outside-the-box type thinking to move the group towards progress, has fomo and tries to participate in everything, likes to experience life fully and isn’t afraid, can-do attitude, unstoppable will, public speaking comes easy, expresses opinions well and tactfully but dogmatically, like you feel like you must oblige, parli-pro advanced team, her soccer coach literally said he loved her dry witty humor and how she tolerated his “out-there” ideas when he rambled to her on the bus after games. Dedicated to doing things right way without hurting others. Her roommates ran from party when cops showed up and she faced the music without panic.
My daughter has Mercury and Sun in Aquarius with Sagittarius rising (night chart). She has always said what she thinks and has never been intimidated by authority figures or people of supposed higher class than her. She has had a drive to live life the way she wants through serious setbacks in her life. She is very caring and sensitive too.

Cancer rising living with 4 Aquarians. None have Mercury in Aquarius but my 19 year old has 4 planets there and I see that he is lately suffering. His out-of-stepness never seemed to bother him in childhood. He was always having too much fun in his own world to care. He struggles with wanting to choose a career path meaningful to mankind while simultaneously having an aversion to most people in one-on-one interactions. Aquarian energy as I'm familiar with it, is oddball, colorful, well-intentioned, dreamy, and often lofty. Some may display an aloofness because they can be consumed with their inner world. It must be jarring- coming back down to Earth all the time and finding the state of things and people to be less than what they could be. Thanks for helping me better understand my family.
My young adult daughter has 5 planets in Aquarius including Sun, Venus, and Mercury. She is a person who has always followed her interests, especially music, and just goes for it. She's fearless without even realizing it or calling attention or seeming rebellious, it's just .. what she does. With that is a tremendous focus and work ethic, which must be the fixed piece, so she was not part of a crowd much because she had strong goals and that bothers her sometimes, def has that outsider thing, but she finds her people. And with all that, she's not an asshole, just a weirdo, adorable Aquarius, lol.
I have Mercury and the Sun in Aquarius, and a stellium in Capricorn 1st house. I'm definitely a fanatic...opinionated, stubborn. Yep. I followed my nose/different drummer and forged a unique life for myself. It's interesting that there are so many political activist on your list. I used to be one, but gave it up, thinking internal work was ultimately more important. Probably should have balanced the two together!
I have Mercury in Aquarius in the 12th house along with a Venus in Pisces 1st house ascendant as well. I tend to be very intuitive, psychic, empathic etc. which has led to a very interesting life needless to say. I would say a lot of my communication tends to be within somehow. I am often in contact with those that have passed over to the other side 👻 not always to my liking I might add 🤨 I am very empathic with a lot of animals also and I find it probably easier to communicate with them than humans most times. He spent a lot of time on Oprah. There just aren’t many women who have been elevated in history for their great work, that’s not Acyuta’s fault.

Thank you for posting this video, it was very interesting. With Mercury in Aquarius in my own chart, I have noticed pretty much everything you have said. I come up with inventions every now and then, but I never do anything with my ideas because today's system has made it too hard and too expensive to birth inventions into the world. I would like to add that Mercury in Aquarius is able to manipulate and strategize and it depends on a person if they will use this capability or not and/or to what purpose. This Mercury does not fear mental contests and disagreements, for better or worse. It wants to give everyone a fair chance to be heard as well. Also, I have noticed a tendency to defend the 'underdog'. Excellent understanding of space and form.
Natal Mercury in Aquarius conjunct Jupiter in the third house, Pluto in opposition in 9th. Can identify with the sort of "tortured" sense in that I have often seen and known things, had very progressive forward moving ideas and have felt perpetually misunderstood and almost shamed for a sense of somehow being "different." Not meant in a better/worse sort of way - simply different. Guess it's the Pluto influence but this always has a sort of depth and seriousness to it - a diving deeply - a push to express the inexpressible might be one way of expressing that. Good to hear you talk about this - I almost feel understood! ATB!
Good stuff! I never had a mentor or guru because i don't trust the judgment of other Human beings easily. I always followed the voices of Reason and my Intuition, hoping they would always bring me in front of new truths to unveil. I've been following and studying Acyuta's work for years and i am now finishing his 1st year program and i'm happy to continue learning with him, hopefully for many more years. I recommend his courses to all sensitive cynics and intellectual souls seeking Balance and Wisdom.

Interesting, a lot of the people you listed also have their sun in Aquarius. I have Mercury retrograde and my sun in Aquarius. Yes, the tortured and oddball feelings have always been there, but meditation and real dharma studies have helped to alleviate a lot of that. Like your father, I have always been about including and helping give a voice to / holding the space / sharing power with those who are often excluded or disenfranchised by society - in fact my career is centered on this. I view leadership as service with a tremendous amount of responsibility. Most of the tortured feelings and sleeplessness came from that - like a moth to a flame. I’m a quiet and introverted person, but I’ve noticed that I can quickly become the center of attention / leader in a meeting or get-together frighteningly easily - even in my own family of origin where both my parents are still living (and I’m not that attractive in appearance) - so I hold back a lot. I loved reading science fiction as a kid. My friends were reading romance novels, while I was reading the Dune, 2001, and Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy series.

An old friend of mine is multi 3rd house Aquarius, including her sun and mercury. She was hands down one of the most interesting people I’ve met in my life. She saw the world in a different way and every day was a mini adventure. I was from one coast and she was from the other and the fates had us meet in the middle in an almost completely random way.

(born into a family of water and earth signs) ive got mercury, (plus 4 others) in Aquarius… it’s a bit hard to tell how mercury specifically manifests, but i think it’s responsible for a lot of how my mental (aloof, contemplating the state of the world, wanting to break it just to put it back together again) translates into my presentation of myself, with my rising also in aquarius. it tends to make me absolutely unalarmed if someone/something doesn’t fit the bigger picture and needs to be chopped out. very strict ideals of what the world should look like..innovative, but troublesome.
Three Aquarian in my immediate family. My father in particular is big thinker and change-maker. He was a rare 'dove' in military, an MBA promoting/facilitating employee ownership at a time when it was not so much a thing, and more traits that fit. He is quietly commanding and lover of the arts and sciences. He has Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and north node ♒️. Not always easy... :)
I’ve found it tough to have Mercury in Aqua as well as sun in Aqua because I kind of get things before others in my peer group do, I am very precocious and I’m coming out with ideas that are way ahead of my time, but people dismiss me as the Aqua “weirdo” talking crazy as usual. My life is just wanting to yell “I told you so” to friends who didn’t believe some progressive thing I brought up months or years ago which have come into fruition now.

My mercury is at 26 Aquarius in my 12 th house. Learning was difficult for me because I could learn a subject with such quick speed that my brain couldn’t handle it. Math was difficult, especially algebra because I would know the answers but not how I knew them. I felt very self conscious about it and shied away from answering in class. It was my worst nightmare to have to do a problem on the chalkboard in front of people! Anyway growing up there were many times when I would know how to do something without ever learning how. For instance I understood electrical work without ever studying it, and connecting electrical equipment to WiFi before it was a thing, without knowing how I knew it, but the process was instant, like a file being downloaded to my brain.

Mercury is actually exalted in Aquarius in modern astrology. Makes perfect sense if you think about it. Suspend your thinking about Mercury’s difficulties in Pisces for a moment and just meditate on “Mercury in leo” and how that can be antithetical to Mercury’s goals.
My two daughters are both Mercury in Aquarius. My 6 year old talks about teleporting all the time. She's a Capricorn sun so I'm quite sure she's going to invent some sort of teleportation device when she gets older. Both girls (16 and 6) always have grasped language and reading well above their grade levels as well.

Mercury at 17°39' in 6th house Aquarius here!! With the Sun at 23°14' and Jupiter made it into Aquarius as well at 1°13'. ♒ I would say having Mercury in 6th house Aquarius has gave me a passionate understanding of the differences in others life's and wanting to help with making others feel happy. Lol. I have Saturn at 27°39' in my 3rd house of Scorpio! I have al s o found that I s struggle a big deal with time management. Or others have trouble, dealing with me not always being on time too. I love to move around a lot and don't seem to stick to a certain group of friends or style of people. I like interacting and experiencing all walks of life and different culture's.
Also I am a Virgo Rising, sooo Mercury is doing a lot! Lol. Plus Transit Uranus in Taurus is Squaring my natal Mercury and opposing my natal Moon. I have also noticed that when the Moon is transiting through Virgo, I feel that Moon Transit far more than any other. And I'm assuming it's because of the Mercury Association
Wow!! I am revisiting this episode because of my mercury in Aquarius. And I have always felt like I am very open and understanding, to others way of living, lifestyles, and differences. But one thing that I hear a lot about Aquarians for planets in Aquarius, is that they tend to feel righteous and it’s their way or the highway. What has more influence, Progressed or natal placements? I've been studying my progressed placements, Mercury is in Aquarius 2nd decan. I thank God for that. Basically people like us can be abrasive because how clearly we can see and communicate about people's shadow self (personality parts that they use but don't own up to). In group situations, we are usually "wall flowers" or the people who don't speak much but see every detail that happens around them. Lastly I'd wager a guess that you, too, are pretty heavily interested in chemistry, physiology, biology, ecology, and stuff like that. We like to study things like how simple molecules end up as complex thinking beings, and how simple creatures create complex communities. This planet combination has a gift with recognizing Emergent phenomena

I am interested in what happens to mercury when it is close to the cusp between Capricorn and Aquarius. My mercury is at 28 degrees 11seconds of Capricorn. Is it a sliding scale or an abrupt change? My sun is in Aquarius so then it would put them nothin the same whole house. In my case the 5th. Thanks

Why is it when I look up the location of the sun in the sky on my birthday the sun is not in my birth sign (Aquarius) but it is in Capricorn?
:D And it should be in Pisces. That is funny.
The western astrologers use a tropical zodiac, which puts your sun in Aqu. Vedic Indian astrologers use a sidereal zodiac, and in that system your sun will be in Capricorn. I don't really understand WHY the western way prefers the tropical. I think it's complicated, at least to me!
@@1ACL seems like it would be inaccurate. Big difference in the life you would lead if you have a completely different sun sign and rising sign.

Wow.. kind of a slap in the face of actual spiritual work. Returning to the realm of connection is good and all, but the point is to be applying the knowledge to change the "real" world. That is our gift as incarnated beings. I hope that they learn, and don't let any darker spirits manipulate them since they seem to want their boundaries dissolved all the time

Hi! I just wanted to add-Muhammad Ali was a member of the Black Power movement, he stood for self determination of the black working class. Also, Dr. King was killed a year to the date after he made his famous speech on The Vietnam war, where he questioned the concept of anti violence. He realized the Vietnamese were fighting to get colonialism off their backs, fighting the violent oppressor who had brought on violence and white supremacy. Preaching anti violence only reinforced the US’s anti black power rhetoric. Black people--any people facing European colonialism or colonialism of any kind-have been forcibly displaced and enslaved. Much of the civil rights rhetoric forced black people to fight for white people to like them and let them into their white society, VS, black people being free of colonialism and having a right to their resources and reparations. It doesn’t matter what white people think --it doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t like you. But it does matter if they have power over your life. King also began to realize that it wasn’t racism that the black community were fighting but that they were and still are fighting colonialism, the theft of resources, culture, science and literal African bodies. I don’t know if he has mercury in Aquarius but he’s a Libra, Chairman Omali Yeshitela won the African Debate at Oxford University in 2018, Malcolm had not come to the colonial question yet so he did not win the debate--anyhow, I am an individual with a lot of Uranus and Aquarius about my chart, Mercury in Sag, so I had to share ☺️.
