- TV-show recorded in the Palace Theatre (New York, NY) in November 1973. I was 17 years old and remember so well seeing my heroes for the very first time on TV, in black and white. Here's a piece of the song in color.

To cap off the set, the band dips back to one of Richie Furay's tried and true standards, "C'mon." Always a high energy number, this reading is miles ahead of the infectious three-minute romp featured on the live Deliverin' album just two years prior. Here it is a nine-minute jamfest featuring an impressive guitar solo from Cotton and some of the most savagely executed pedal steel one could possibly imagine from Rusty Young. Young's mastery of processing gear and distortion is innovative and adventurous and like Jimi Hendrix, these elements are fully integrated into his sound. Here the band finds balance between raw instrumental intensity and sweet vocal harmony.
Unf...ng real ..Rusty on PSG and folding chair slide! Paul really rocking the guitar and vocals. They are all awesome.

This is the Poco I have always loved. Got me through some very bad times.
I can't stop watching this over and over again.
Must have been right after Richie left. Rusty had to take over the lead guitar on the pedal steel. He was an incredible mater of the instrument. We will never see another lime him. This also was the time that Paul Cotton took over a lot of the lead vocals. Can't ever forget the treasure they had in George Grantham, with his highest harmonies.

Honestly....Rusty's playing is so supreme, that the theatrics weren't neccessary. Amazing steel player. I don't think I could do that to my steel.
Should see him on the live Version of Nature Of Love with him killing the steel pedal

Ummm, I guess I liked "the wimpy stuff" better! Young really did presage Robert Randolph by decades though!
