Wales to the Mediterranean by Motorhome: Part 5 : The Stunning Mont Blanc and The Mer De Glace :)

It's time to see some of the amazing sights that this beautiful part of France has to offer so we have hired a small car for a trip into Chamonix to visit Europes highest mountain, Mont Blanc :)
We are going to get the closest view we can from the Aiguille Du Midi - a cable car that travels to the glacier and snow lines of Mont Blanc. (See links below)
We are also going to try and see the Mer De Glace glacier by mountain train - the second largest glacier here in the Mont Blanc Massif.

The camera is just a 4K GoPro - I use an old Hero 8 and recently acquired its newer version a Hero 10 - fits in a pocket but does take great 4K film 😁😍🚌

What month did you visit?
We are going to ‘Haute Savoie’ region for 3 weeks at the end of September and will certainly do the gondola and ice cave!
Any other tips of must do’s or places to stopover will be greatly appreciated 😀

Many thanks Marc and it was May 23 that trip. Winter tyres ends at the end of March so didn't have to get a new set of tyres!! That little train ride was good too :) There's one or two more films on the channel - one from last Friday - that has some of the Morzine area included which is also a beautiful place and not far away - a bit biased as my eldest is now living near there :) There are also other films from different trips that included La Grave, Alpe D'Huez, Lake Annecy, the lake at Aix Les Bains and of course all the sites we used around there. If you can get a bit further South The Verdon Gorge (films on the channel!) is stunning too :) There's so much to cram in you'll just have to go again!! You'll love it!

@@tonylewis1116 Yes working from North to South of France - Firestick working fine for streaming - even got reception in the Alps!! :)) and yes the full 100GB per month is usable in EU - woohoo :))
