Nice information about Chamonix. We will be staying there two nights after hiking the TMB in Sept , so I hope the weather is nice to be able to do those extra outdoor sites.
It is such an amazing place to visit! There are so many amazing attractions for locals to do and even tourists. We went there in the month of September.
@@woahASMR, I have visited Switzerland many times and very close to the French Alps, Chamonix was on the list on one trip, but never made it, so it will be fun to see and a treat at the end of our hike.glad you enjoyed it. If you haven't done it, the Jungfrau region is amazing. Paragliding out of Lauterbrunnen with AirTime is super fun too.
Great video, although "top of the Mountain" is not Du Midi, it is Mont Blanc, highest peak in Europe. L'Aiguille Du Midi is actually the base camp for the climbers attempting Mont Blanc.
L'Aiguille Du Midi is a mountian in aits own right, which is in the Mont Blanc Massif. Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe,, not Europe, thats Elbrus. The Midi is the "start point" for the "Trois Monts Route", but not the normal base camp for most ascentionists.

You missed out the best bit at the glacier, Where their is a door in the rockface that takes you into the most stunning mineral collection you will ever see in your life in a dark room. All light up behind huge glass pannels like a fishtank but with minerals, Mount Blancs gems, That room blow me away. And thanks to the mineral collectors that risked their lifes that found them and gave them away to show other people how big these minerals can get. As a climber i was blown away by them, Their might be pictures online for you to see them.
well done!!!! We are headed to Geneva this week and have a whole list of things to see and do there. Can't wait!!!! Great job on the video, keep up the good work
Great video! What airport did you fly in from? Did you rent a car? If not please advise how you got around to do activities, shops, etc. Also what hotel? Thank you!!
We stayed in an Airbnb actually. More cost effective, and we took the train that goes entirely throughout chamonix. VERY handy! We did not rent a car, just the train as it stops at all points of interest. The main train station is in the heart of chamonix and drops you right down centre
It really is an amazing place! We went during the September month and it was a little cold at times but some days were super warm! It’s a magical place to go.
Hi!!, great video!! I have one question: Is the ascent to plan de L'aiguille and the ascent to Aiguille du midi paid separately? We would like to buy the ticket for Aiguille du midi and we plan to go down plan de L'aiguille to adapt a little to the height and then go up to the second section, however I don't know if the ticket for Aiguille du midi allows us to make this stop, or we should go up to the second part immediately to avoid being charged. Thank you very much and greetings.
We bought the full pass ticket, but I do believe the ticket gets you right to the top from what I can remember! It’s worth the extra $ if to see from the top. It is the most magical view you will ever see. Trust me!
I have been to Bali and Indonesia quite a bit first time in 85 it has changed dramatically since then its lost the island paradise vibe. I use to my family probably 5 or 6 times as they were growing up, did not go for a long time after the bombing. @@woahASMR
We did use a Drone. We used the DJI Mini 3 Pro with the regular batteries. That made it 249g. But I honestly don't see a problem using a drone that weighs more. No one cam up to us ever and asked about the drone. People were more intrigued than anything else!
@@woahASMR thanks for the reply! I bought the spark because it was below the weight requirements at the time. Then they lowered the weights 🤬 I’m sure they’ll keep lowering the weights and even the mini will become too heavy 🤦♀️ I know what you’re saying, but it’s a €10,000 fine and up to 6 months in prison!! Hi! We're leaving for Chamonix on Saturday. We already know we want to hike Lac Blanc, but this Gorges de la Diosaz seems like a perfect second hike. How did you get there from Chamonix, please? Thanks much! Laurence Schwarz Edmonds, WA.
