Spending the summer in the Alps is amazing, and one of the best places to visit is Chamonix. With its perfect location at the foot of Mont Blanc, the combination of shiny white mountain tops, green valleys, grey stone mountainsides, clear blue sky and a cozy but rather large village center, makes Chamonix a perfect place to visit and a place we dream of coming back to soon. Here is 10 things we dream of doing when we come back.

I live at the flat lands of the Netherlands. In 1995, When I was 15, my dad took me to the mountains in Switzerland. It was an experience I never forgot.
This year we will be going back to the Alps, and we will be staying in Chamonix and I'm very muck looking forward to the experience.
When I was a kid in Ireland my parents had a picture of an alpine mountain. I used to be captivated by it. Later I became a very good mountain navigator, climbed all over the British Isles, became proficient in ice & snow climbing & climbed Mont Blanc amongst others. I wonder where that picture is now, we left the house a long time ago.

The Chamonix Alpine museum is currently closed for renovation.

we just arrived for a 1 month stay, did you ride any of the lifts? if so do you which ones were the best deals? we dont ski so just looking to experience riding a lift but the ones ive looked at so far are 300 euros for a family of 4... too pricey.

hey guys, question, im in chaminox now with my family, 2 adults 2 kids, we're not skiiers but we want to go up the mountain, but the lifts are like 300 euros for a round trip... my question is, are they really that expensive? we just want to ride up, look around and then come back down. If anyone can give us any tips on how to use the lifts pls let me know.
