Nice review Roger, one minor point you didn’t cover the the gimbal platform height should be set for pivot point to be mid line of the lens (which yours has been set to) I’ve seen a few people using gimbals not set properly and struggling to get the balance correct as the CofG is set too high, Mike
Great review Roger. Looks great, i need a tripod and this is tempting!! Definitely great that you can get right down to the ground, photos always look extra special when they are low down📸
Thanks for your review, I'm thinking about buying this tripod but wondering about having the tripod in water sometimes, like water edges. What do you think? Thanks
I think any tripod were you have the legs in water, is prone to getting water in. Both my Manfrotto and Benro tripods had to be regularly taken apart and cleaned after being in water, - particularly salt water. The only tripod that I had were it was not a problem was the Benbo.
Glad you liked ti. To be perfectly honest I am nearer 5ft 5inches than 5ft 6ins. IN fact I gave a talk to Cambridge CC and someone came up to me and said `Oh ! Your shorter than you appear in your videos !` 😂
TRy contacting Surui at one of these : Asia-Pacific & UK: sales@sirui-photo.com EU: soso@siruioptical.eu Indian: owenwei@sirui.com DE & Austria: yw@siruioptical.eu Its a brand new tripod so may take a while for it to be more easily available
ACTUALLY a really good video ACTUALLY
Thanks 👍
Nice review Roger. Interesting video and equipment, I’d certainly look at it next time I need a new tripod.
Well done Roger. Nice review. Looks like a nice piece of kit👍
Thanks Richard

Hi Roger, Thanks for this video!
What is your height size? It is to compare with tripod size :)

Roger, Is that just green gaffers tape on your lens?
No. Its a lenscoat I bought on Ebay.
@@rogerhance5883 ahh, should have known thanks for the reply!
Why do you add an arca plate to a lens that has an in built arca foot?
Because it has the stop clip at the end. I could use the arca plate thats built into the lens, but not every make of lens has that built in.
