Hats off to you for standing out in the cold to do this review. Could of been done inside, but you have us real works view. I'll put this on my wish list... After the 200-800 Canon lens
I watched this video the day it was uploaded. I contacted my local camera shop, Stewart Photo in Anchorage, and was informed that the tripod was unavailable to order. They took my information and said they would let me know when it arrived. I got a call two days ago, on December 5th, and picked it up the same day. The price was still $799.00. So, if you are looking for a great Christmas gift for the wildlife photographer in your life, you can't miss with the Sirui tripod. It's awesome.
Nice, I have used both the PH-20 and the Leofoto PG-1 gimbals and the are both really nice, I like the Leofoto PG-1 a little better it seems a little smoother to me, can’t go wrong with either one though.
They were just some waterproof bow hunting gloves from Cabelas. No idea what the product name is though. Probably 4 years or so old. Not the warmest, but warm enough for an hour or so in the cold. Mainly to keep my hand dry and snow off them while I wallow in the snow ⛄️
sir i have seen both your videos sirui ct3204 camo and leofoto ls-365+pg 1. You have given good information regarding both tripods. So I need your guidance whether I should choose leofoto LS-365CEX+PG-1 (Full Camouflage) or sirui CT-3204+CH-20 (camoflage) for wildlife photography.
Great review! Can you tell me the diameter at the top when the tripod is folded? I am in the market for a leveling-type tripod, deciding to buy either this CT-3204 or the Leofoto LS-324CEX. The latter is about 400 grams lighter and also seems more compact compared to this Sirui model (leveling bowl placed on top of the leg joints instead of in between). Thanks in advance for your help! And in addition to your Sirui P-325FS monopod, I can also recommend the Leofoto MPQ-325C which only weighs 500 grams and is also available in full camo. I use it on my EF500mm is some cases and love this sturdy piece of gear.
@@WILDALASKA Sorry, I've seen this webpage, however specs for the top diameter are not given. It matters to me as I travel a lot and struggle with size/weight when taking a large tripod with me in my check-in luggage.
@@RvR-Photography may I ask which tripod you ended up getting? I've been considering the Leofoto Ranger LS 365C, 364C, 324C, 324CEX and the smaller 284 series. I need my tripod(s) to be with me in a cabin luggage, so a max length of 50mm when folded. I shoot birds in flight and macro so I need the stability and low shots. Thank you for sharing!
@@hans6304 I eventually bought the LS-324CEX and have no regrets. Compact, yet sturdy enough to utilize either a gimbal or ballhead. Love the leveling base.
@@RvR-Photography how do you find carrying the LS-324CEX on your backpack, and have you travelled with it on a plane in your cabin baggage? Sorry for the questions, I have a back injury so I'd need a sturdy and quite a big of a tripod but still easy on the back. Thank you for the kind responses.
Hi thanks again for this great video ! Just one small thing for you and for all these Amazon affiliate videos : maybe try to give a second link for each article for non us viewers Cause I personally live in Europe so your link points to an article that I can’t order in my shipping zone 😔
Anchorage is just one big airport. It's one of the busiest transport hubs, plus small planes which is most places only way to get around ( no roads), and a major military air base.
I have the Gitzo Series 3 Carbon Fibre Non reflective but I need a Gimbal and this Sirui will be ideal for my 180-600 >>for African Wild Life so we dont use Gloves Lol but those big knobs would be ideal >> Thanks for a very informative Video
Great review! So glad I found your channel.
Awesome! Thank you!
Always looking for a great tripod gimbal combo. Thank you for you time and information.
My pleasure!

I really like to do stuff outside as AK just givers you such great scenery, but rain and heavy snow (like today) make it hard at times.
Looks like a really nice setup! Thanks for the info and review. 🙂
You bet!
Thank you for all the hard work you put into these great videos. I love the Sirui products. I currently have a gimbal for my wildlife photography.
Very nice 🎅

Very cool. Amazing folks to work with. We are so lucky to have them in Anchorage ! Grats on the tripod.
Great informative video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Binged 3 of your super long videos last night. Instant sub!
Welcome aboard!
Keep up the great work!! Do you think this is the best setup for nature photography? I see you have used other one…happy holidays…
this one is very good along with the leofoto setup. Both are exceptional.
Awesome video… Thank you from Wasilla!
Glad you enjoyed. How much snow you getting up there. Almost 2 feet here over last few days.
@@WILDALASKA 10-12 inches with ice crust on top.
Great review, I'll be ordering one soon.
👍
I can see Im going to have to keep my wants list in check haha. Needs list is tiny. It does look cool. 👍
You and me both!

I agree. The knobs on the Sirui are easier to grab in the cold with gloves is why im liking it now lol.
Can you link the gloves you wear. They are cool. Nice video

I'm considering those same kits and having trouble deciding
leofoto edges the sirui just in weight
Thanks sir
My tripod, video head and gimbal....all of Sirui brand. Good quality with fairer price tags
Nice 👍

Looks like a great deal! I use Really Right Stuff gimbal and tripod which I bought many years ago. RRS is fantastic quality but $$$.
I haven't tested RRS tripods or gimbals, but I do love their replacement lens feet.
hello, do you have any link for the same gimbal stabilizer in the video ? Thank you

they also are diverting a lot of air traffic to anchorage because of storms going. on and the volcano stuff going on.

Between the Sirui and the Leofoto ls365 camo which do you find yourself using more? I'm having trouble deciding between the two
Leofoto, but I use the sirui a lot also.
Would B&H have the Black version of the Gimbal Straight without the Levelling Bowl
I think B&H may have the whole kit. But they do have the individual pieces

There is someone acting like you… told me a won a giveaway all I had to do is pay shipping… Merry Christmas!!!
Yes, been banning them all day as I see them pop up. How did the message you? reply to comment or something else?
Can this plate be used wiht the BlackRapid Breathe Sport camera strap? So I not have to switch from connection knob
No plate will work with that for any area Swiss ball, video, or gimbal head
Since the planes are so distracting to you, why not reschedule?
Anchorage is a huge airport. there is never a time you don't have either commercial, private, or military aircraft buzzing.
Normally hand hold 200-500 for quick response to action. seldom use my cheap K-Mart tripod with inexpensive gimble.
😄
You’re welcome
Sorry you had to go through that
👍
Hello did you talk to me earlier?
nope
Replayed to a comment and said thank for the support and you wanted to discuss something with me and to look you up on telegram
ok. I banned that account, had something like text and symbols in the @ name. And I have no telegram account either. Thanks for the info
Thank you for sharing, enjoying all your videos. Are you on instagram?
