    Hey All!
    Just listed my first product :) I have one thing to let you guys know; when listing your private label product, be sure to fill in all of the information on the first page when filling out your product information. If a certain specification for your product isn't relevant, just throw a "0" in there. The product will not save unless you do this! Thank you Greg for being so transparent in your video series!
    Best Regards,
    Ryan

      +Ryan worrell How is your first product doing?

    • @rmw090
      @rmw090 8 лет назад

      Christopher Wade It's doing well Christopher, I just ordered another bulk order of it to restock. I am doing much better on Etsy though because of the niche I'm working in. I also have much less competition in the Etsy marketplace. Unfortunately this means no fulfillment by Amazon, but I can always use a different channel for fulfillment.

      That's awesome! I'm just trying to stay with fba, so i can travel the world and work from my computer. best of luck!

      Christopher Wade true I feel ya man. That's exactly what my plan is. Passive income for life. There are other fulfillment centers that aren't amazon affiliated that you can send your product to and they will ship it out for you. Don't restrict yourself to one market place, there's ebay, etsy, Craigslist, etc. Why not increase the chances of selling your product and make a listing for each?

    Great content!
    Will you guys do an update of 2016? I know things have changed on Amazon since this video was released in late 2015. I found some new information from Scott Voelkers's podcast about Amazon changing some registrations and what not. Figure it would be a great video to hear from both of you guys on the latest updates. Thanks again!

    Awesome video! On the "Vital Information" page are you using the UPC that is on the Jungle Stix label? I know you mentioned that Amazon provides you with a number or something of that nature.

    It was mentioned that Amazon TOS does not permit HTML usage in product descriptions. However, that is not accurate as of today (July 2017). This is what is permitted according to Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_left_sib?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200441900

    There is NO "Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price" on UK Amazon Seller Central and I'm tearing my hair out trying to find out why not!! I've spent 4 hours on this today, totally crazy. Can anyone please tell me I'm not crazy and that Amazon Seller Central UK doesn't make a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price available?

  • @CutieCoconut

    Hello! Do you apply the labels you made (with the logo, fnsku etc.) to the product yourself? Or are you having the supplier do that? I would like to get the supplier to put them on, but I'm worried about them knowing I'm selling on Amazon because of the fnsku. What do you think? Thanks!

  • @davidfonseca339

    Greg what are the different labels and shipping codes we send to the suppliers in China in case we plan on shipping the product directly from China to Amazon warehouse in the United states

  • @andrewdodds1084
    @andrewdodds1084 7 лет назад

    @junglescout Do you create a listing just to get the FNSKU and then create another more detailed listing for the actual product? Is the FNSKU still valid? Or would you just go back and edit the intial listing you got the FNSKU from?

    Question: Scott, mentioned that you can copy the amazon listing of your competitors and past it into Google Adwords to see potential keywords they are ranking for but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Well, how does one do that? Thanks

    When I was creating my new listing I tried to add a title that I wanted Amazon to generate from like you said on 38:00 but after over 4 hours the URL looks normal. I tried to get Amazon to add "Vaultek Gun Safe" to the canonical URL but no results. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    I noticed that the SKU had the product name in the format of "Name" and then "..." and then the ending of the name. I know that Amazon clearly states: "Product labels must also include the exact same product title or your inventory may be refused at Amazon fulfillment centers or received as Unfulfillable." How big of a concern is this?

    Question, for a private label FBA product would I have to identify myself as the seller of each of my Products on all packing slips or other information included or provided in connection with my Products and as the Person to which a customer may return the applicable product?

    • @junglescout
      @junglescout  7 лет назад

      Hey Perry! Do you mean identify your own personal name, or the brand you're selling under? Generally when you private label, you would get your logo put onto the product somewhere and/or the packaging. If this is the exact some product as something else, then you would need to do this as Amazon do not want multiple listings of the same product and they'd rather you list on the existing listing. So yes, it's a good idea to put your brand on the product/ packaging if you're private labelling. I hope this helps! :)

      When I enjoy my first success at this, I'm going to set up something where I can offer one to one help to others because that's what I need right now as I'm trying to launch my first product on Amazon. I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing giving away all this product to improve rankings, how much I should give away, over how many days, etc. etc... One to one help, even for a few minutes, would be extremely useful right now... So I know where you're coming from!

      Hi, it's been 2 months since this question was posted, I was wondering if I can still use speedybarcodes.com to buy a UPC? Or does Amazon now require GS1 UPC? Your reply is greatly appreciated.

  • @theboldbee768

    Hi guys great video, but I don't think you touched on the UPC /EAN codes at all. I'm completely stuck on, as are a lot of people in this comment section. Clarification would be really nice. I bought my barcodes from speedybarcodes.com but when I enter the code into the Amazon product listing, there is no valid 'continue' option. Is this because we need GS1 codes now? Thanks!

    • @theboldbee768
      @theboldbee768 7 лет назад +1

      Nevermind, here's is the answer to my question, from Amazon Seller Central Support: "Please note that, Our GS1 policy states that we encourage Sellers to license UPCs directly from GS1 and we validate against their database, i.e. we dont accept barcodes from websites like nationwidebarcode.com, speedybarcodes etc. You can find this policy on sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/200317470?referral=A17E66FKRWV8CZ_A2WLIP4IV2DUAF"

      Thank you! So I must buy from GS1, correct? It seems like a whole long process to apply for and get a GS1 code. I just looked at speedybarcodes.com and it seems like theirs are verified? Can I buy 25 for $25 there and they will work for me on amazon? THANK YOU for any help!!!

    • @theboldbee768
      @theboldbee768 7 лет назад

      Hey Stefanie, I bought and paid for UPCs from speedy barcodes and THEY DID NOT WORK. I wasted money on it. So I paid the price to have a new GS1 UPC generated for my product, as I felt that was the safest and most professional way to go about it.. besides, no other process was working for me, and Amazon told me to buy the GS1 if I didn't want to have any hiccups later down the road. Good luck!
