Thank you always for your valuable content... My question is: when creating your first product listing for FBA, in the Brand section: if you have a brand but it is Not registered, can you put it anyway? meaning the brand does not have to be "registered" in order to put it in the brand section? please clarify.... thanks
Thank you for being such an amazing resource Jungle Scout team! When people are asking for written explanations on how stuff in ecommerce (especially Amazon) works, I always reference and cite you back! Recently watched the video on how to create a coloring book to sell on Amazon and was thinking of how the process would be if you're from the Philippines. I know you must have already covered international/foreign sellers. so I'm just going to dive into your playlist. Thanks!!!
We are so glad to hear you love our videos! 🤩 And yes, you can sell in KDP)from the Philippines. As long as you have a computer and an internet connection, you can sell KDP from anywhere in the world, including the Philippines.
@@junglescout hey jungle scout is there any way you could do a complete a to z video on regular dropshipping or even wholesale. This will attract more people to your videos because it can be too encombersome to your viewers to have to find the videos one by one... And it gets discouraging I feel like I talk for a lot of people having to go from just finding a profitable product then going to listening the product...or the other way is have all the shorter videos in a playlist one step at a time. Ty so much
You have very informative and great videos, kindly do let me if I am buying mask from China and those masks already have brand name, what kind of listing i will do and do i have to buy a UPS. Thanks
We would recommend staying away from selling face masks 😊 And if a product is already 'branded' it would be best to check if they have a patent for it as well
How do I add products that I’m getting from Alibaba? Do I add the product before I make the purchase or make the purchase first? Where do I find the address for Amazon FBA?
You will need to purchase a GS1 code first, register the listing inside Seller Central, download an FNSKU code, send it to your supplier, and then ship it! Once you create a shipping plan, Amazon will provide you with the warehouse's address
What if your buying a product from alibaba that’s already on Amazon and your shipping it out yourself. Do you still need to purchase bar codes? Is this considered listing an item as generic? I just discovered your videos they’re extremelyyyy helpful!!! 🙌🏾
Thanks for your video. That's pretty helpful. I have some questions. If I add the product, then save and finish it. Does that mean everyone can see my product on Amazon or not? As a result, first-time sellers should add the product to Amazon first and then ship the product to Amazon. Thanks😄
Thank you for this video and love the content! I have a few questions regarding setting up the listing, not sure what is "Manufacturer Part Number" - is this coming from the manufacturer? where can I get it? 1. Manufacturer Part Number 2. Unit Count 3. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended 4. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended Unit of Measure. Thanks a lot!
1. Manufacturer Part Number: The manufacturer should have this, this is for products that being sold as part of something, like car supplier, etc.. 2. Unit count: it is the amount per product. sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/help.html?itemID=G2RCDMZR4SKGQFAY 3. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended is the actual number of age recommended that can use the product 4. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended Unit of Measure is if it is Year, Month or day sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/minimum-manufacturer-age-recommended/398063/5
Hi Jake! Thank you so much for the video. Amazing that you are answering all questions in the comments. My question pertains to the "I'm adding a product not sold on Amazon" template; is there a way to visualize how the information will be populated on the Amazon sell page while still in draft mode (such as available with the A+ content listing)? Alternatively, is there a cross reference list that would show where each field from the template will show on the Amazon page? I am confused about it because I find that the template's fields nomenclature does not seem to always reflect the nomenclature used under the selling page in tutorials. Given that once completed changes will be difficult to make (will be approved only if add to the accuracy) I think that it is important to get it right the first time.
This is a great question, Christian! So whenever you create a draft listing on Amazon, you will have the option to preview the listing or save them as a draft before you can launch your product. 🙂
@@junglescout I am impressed by your quick response. You must be super efficient or have staff to help you. So I can go ahead and click Save & Finish and I will still be able to make changes before launch?
Hi,very helpful video. One question, could you please tell me how do I add a product which is a set (for example 1 set of 4 chairs or 2 sets..). Waiting for your response
Thank you for your video! I have a few questions. 1. To purchase the barcodes, should I have a business license? 2. I applied the exception for the production number, and I didn't put any production number when I list an item. However, when I finish the listing, it goes to the "Incomplete Listing" Section, and it says, "There is no record of the SKU corresponding to this update on your account. This commonly occurs when there are other issues on your SKU.. Images could not be associated with this SKU. This error may be resolved by addressing other product data errors. ". And I'm not sure how to solve this problem. Thank you again and I will look forward to your next video!

Hi, thanks for all the valuable information great video! At the moment we are days before our starting the mass production of our product. To save the 30 cents for labeling, we want to print the FNSKU label directly on our product. We do not have the product images yet, but we would like to create the listing and get the FNSKU now to send the FNSKU to the supplier to integrate it on the product. The question is: Is it possible to edit the already created listing as soon as we have the images or does that change the FNSKU code? In general, does any later adjustment of the Listing have impact on the FNSKU code? Thanks in advance!
Hello, Thank you for the resourceful videos. I really appreciate your detailed videos that helped me get started. I have one question if you don't mind. I'm launching a new product soon. It's in the process of photography. Does amazon allow to create a listing without images and add them later on or maybe is there an option to just save and return back to finish the listing? Thank You

Hey guys! This is a little off topic from creating my listing, but I was wondering if you could shed some light on a question I had. My supplier is asking me if they should include the "Traceability Label" on each unit during mass production, this includes the supplier's name AND factory address on the small white tag that is attached to the product that typically displays the washing instructions for the product. They had to include it for the testing facility who was completing a CPC certificate for a baby product I'm selling. My questions is, is this something I need to include on each white tag for each item? Or, is it sufficient enough to just have "Made in China" on the tag? I'm not sure if it's a new requirement for Amazon or not that have this included. Thanks as always for your help, you guys rock!
I’m trying to list a digital caliper in the digital caliber sub category but I’m confused on what some of the required questions in the vital info tab are asking. It’s a 6” caliber so for measurement accuracy do I just put 6”? For number of boxes is that how many carts are getting shipped to the warehouse? Or is that saying if I have 100 pcs I have 100 boxes?? Also how do I get the part number?? And what do they mean is package level orderable?
Thank you for informative info for the guidance plz tell me about that approval required when we sell it from amazon what is that for and how we do it how it is works
Hi, I really like your tutorial, to the point of what we need to do. Question though with barcode, do we have to have barcode to list our items into fba? If yes, I have an item with 3 different varieties, I can just used one barcode for those three from what im getting in your video. Thank you again for your help.

Hello, I ahve a question, If I am doing wholesale but the brand is not yet on Amazon? Should I add it? Or do I use generic? I am confused about this process..? Thank you!
Which one I should provide to my supplier if I'm doing FBA. FNSKU or GTIN? What should I provide to my forwarder if I am not using my supplier's forwarder? Thanks!
Thanks for all the helpful information, quick question , do I need only one upc barcode for all my units ? Or do each unit have to have a upc barcode separately? Thank you
Hi Jake! What do you recommend for a beginner who has no product of his own in FBA: "adding a product not sold on Amazon" or "selling existing product"? I'm lost so I badly need information please. In each case can you guide how to do so. Thank you!
Hello Jake! I appreciate your help in the video and answering my question. I have product in Thailand. Is it possible to ship directly from there instead of shipping inventory to amazon?
Just starting out here, should I get the 10 UPC codes that cost $250 or should I just get the 1 GS1 US GTIN that costs $30? Also Is it better to find a freight forwarder or ship directly from manufacturer. Lastly If I go with shipping from manufacture, and let's say I'm shipping 10 boxes, the manufacturer just has to put one fnsku code on the box and that's it or is there any additional things they have to do. If you have recommendations for freight forwarders that'd be great too.
Hey Deborah! When purchasing those codes, the bulk deal is the way to go and a great investment, especially if you have variations or intend to sell more than one product in the future. Using a freight forwarder is great, however, you'll have to watch for limits per SKU. If you can send in all your inventory and don't want to look at it yourself - sending it straight to Amazon is great. Depending on where you'll need to send your codes, your manufacturer may have suggestions and discounts; reach out to them first. If your inventory is going straight to Amazon, use the shipping plan, it's easy to follow. Each item needs a code and there are separate codes for the cartons and pallets. Check out this video here: ruclips.net/video/zMjbcesyZs0/видео.html
Hello, great video! I listed my own product on amazon but the images are looking way bigger than the images on other seller products when looking at the product page. The title and key points on my product page are therefore also squeezed more to the right because the image is so big on the left. Could you tell me why?
Hi, very helpful video! We are trying to put out a UK listing, but it is asking for a Model number? We have put in the UPC number but how do you get a model number? Thank you!
The easiest is on the product itself. Most of the time it will be on the side or bottom of the product or package. The other place to look is your invoice. It often contains the model number/MPN.
Hi, thanks for the informative video. I keep on getting error 8572 when I enter the GTIN number under Product ID. I have opened a ticket with amazon but its a lot of back and forth and the issue is still not resolved. Do you know how I can go about resolving this and why its not identifying the GTIN number? 2. also where can I get the "Seller SKU" number is that the same number as the product ID? 3. Are "key product features" just the title of the product or are these bullet points describing the product?
1. 8572 sounds like a brand related error. Did you register the brand you are adding when creating the listing? If not, try using 'generic' in that field. 2. SKU is provided by Amazon on a product level after you create the shipping plan 3. These are the bullet points ☺️
Hi Jake! Thank you so much for the video, I'd be lost without it. One question I didn't seem answered in the comments...Does your brand/business have to have your name trademarked through USPTO or in the process of being trademarked through them prior to registering your brand on Amazon?
@@junglescout I'm not sure...haha. Probably the brand registry I suppose since I would be selling items I have manufactured and then branded with my name.
Hey, great video ! questiion - > regarding manufacturer (on FBA add product page) , I've ordered my product from China, no name and am selling under my good company. Am I (my company) the manufacturer or do I need to add the company out of china that is actually making my bulk product?
Since you're doing private label, I don't think you can use your manufacturer's name. I found this forum that might help: sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/brand-name-vs-manufacturer-vs-account-name/452904
Hi Jack it was awesome. quick question ? Suppose I have a product and wanna list it as my brand while the brand registry is not done yet. because first of all, I should have a trademark to do a brand registry. So in this gap is there any other possibility rather than list as generic?
Hi guys, great videos. I have a question. In order to get the barcodes, do you need a subscription / account with GS1? In Australia the subscription is over $500 which for me is a big expense for one barcode.
Hello Jungle Scout, Thank you immensely for a very informative video. This helped me a lot. How do I edit and/add more items to my variations listings. I ran out of barcodes during initial listing so not all my color/sizes were added. Now I want to edit that original listing draft with additional colors but not seeing any options. Please advise.
I found this great resource that will be able to help you with that. Here's the link: sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/G202009940?locale=en-US
Thank You JS For Your Valuable Tutorials. I have an Important question ? I know how to list color variations but How can I get the different color variation photos on the child listings ? I can only upload photos on the parent listings but not the individual child listings which would just be different colors. When I upload photos on the child listings, I can see the photos but after I save and finish and comeback later, all the photos are gone. The parent listing photos are still there just not the child listing photos. Also do I need to fill in the descriptions of each child listing separately, or is that only needed in the parent listing since the products are all identical except for the color ? Please advise me on how how to solve this issue ? Thank You JS !
Hi, I want to sell on Amazon and your video are very informative. My question is would I need a UPC code for every single variation and size ? Like if one shirt was black and the other white and they come in S, M, and L would I need a UPC code for every single size variation and color ?
Hi Jake Thank you so much for this masterclass for FBA. Your videos are so resourceful. But I have a question. I create my account way before I discovered your videos. I created it with my regular Amazon account. Is it possible for me to dissociate it from my regular account? Also, I want to list my products, because I chose "products not sold on Amazon", I'm being required to take pictures. even though I don't have any physical. What should I do?
Hey, really helpful but I have a question if you can answer, I have listed my product but it still say currently in unavailable I have checked everything I have 150 on hand it says active listing but shows nothing on Amazon page and it is for USA . I hope to hear from you back thank you.
Hello! Thanks for the amazing video! When you buy the upc barcodes can you write your name and surname for business name? As i dont have other because am registered as individual
thanks for you reply! if i change it later from individual to proffesional should i also buy other barcodes upc and list again the products? becouse in the old upc barcode registered is my name and surname not business name ? Thank you
As long as the brand name is the same, I believe that should be good. Also, you upgrade to Professional with Business type: Individual if you are going to have a US LLC single owndership (this is what we recommend).. ^EG
@@junglescout sorry i got confused.for example to buy upc from gts1 as individual they request the details of the product also your NAME and SURNAME., when you buy the upc barcodes as PROFFESIONAL they need the business name. I buy those upc barcode as INDIVIDUAL and use it for my products that i have branded but not trademarket yet.as individual they are registered on amazon on my name. what will happen with those listing when i switch it to proffesional and open a business Llc single member as you suggested ? Because if i order from the manufacture again after switched to proffesional the products will come with my business name and not my name and surname as the products where registered first time as individual. Will this cause confusion to amazon and delay or refuse my shipment?
Great Video! Jungle Scout has been incredibly helpful in this process. If I am selling a food product by color, would it be better to create a single listing for each color or have one listing and all the different color variants under that listing?
Both ways are an option - From what we've seen, having variations listed means if someone wants a particular one, it's easier to find. There is also the potential for a bigger sale because the customer can see all options and can purchase more than one variation!
@@junglescout Helps a lot- Thanks. What if the color variation is a top keyword… would I be able to have a different product title for each variation, or would my listing have to have a title without the distinguishing color of each variation ?
Hi I have just recently started my selling journey on Amazon and soon going to list a product as private label. I am already a Jungle Scout suite plan subscriber. My first product will be a pack of 3 different sizes in one package. Now during listing where we need to provide the information of Product dimension and weight, how we can mention 3 different sizes and weight as one product. Thank you for the information JS. I was trying to add a product but it is asking me information not related to the product such as metal type, gem type etc. My product doesn't have all that. How can I get pass that? Please help.
Hey! So those attributes appear to belong to products under the Jewelry category. Could you please confirm if the correct category was selected for your product? 🤔
You can put your product's model number if it has one. Like if you are selling a range of your own brand of speakers, they have their model number (they are usually part of the name of the product) to identify them.
Great video. My question... For a new product that I manufacture I read you can apply for a GTIN exception. Is this an okay method or should I just buy a upc code via gs1?
@@junglescout Thanks for the link. Since I only have one item to sell I went ahead and just bought a UPC code from gs1. The cost has come down compared to what's listed in the article. Only $30 for a single code. Easier just to buy it and be done. Thanks again!
Sorry we don't have that one yet, but I recommend watching this video. On the part where you will be looking for your private label products, you can replace it with suppliers/owners of the products you will be reselling.: ruclips.net/video/Id8yj5lKaho/видео.html The product research may slightly be different too for wholesale, so you can check these videos out for best practices: ruclips.net/video/RzIoq796LSU/видео.html ruclips.net/video/UjMMpCNuysw/видео.html
Yes, product images are a prerequisite when creating your listing. We have a great article that can guide you here: www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-product-images/
I'm listing 4 varieties of a product. Not color or size variation, but 4 blends of a product. Do I need 4 listings? Instead of 1 with variations? Can I signup for Brand Registry before I have any sales if I have a trademark?
Hello, I would like to ask, my products have 3 different colors. So does each color must have different UPC code? Please show me how to add color variations. Thank you
Yes, in this case, you will need 3 UPC codes. And you can read here about adding variations to the listing: www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-product-listing-variations/
Great Video Jake. Given that one product has one barcode, how do barcodes work when ordering multiple units of a Product. If ordering 100 units, how do we get 100 copies of the same barcode, and what is the cost?
@@junglescout Thanks again. I understand GS1 is required only when listing Product on Amazon, physical products coming in need to have FNSKU. For 100 units, print it out from Seller Central. Does that mean my bar code cost per product will be $30 to GS1?
There are no legitimate alternatives to GS1; re-sellers will not guarantee original codes that aren't in use. As for using one code on 100 dog collars, you purchase the code and then replicate it digitally or physically on your products. Either placing it directly on the product package or on a label affixed to the product/package.
Products can be added even when Brand Registry is not approved yet since the trademark may take some time. You can use the GTIN exemption if your product is applicable. ^EG
Hi there. What would the process be if I'm doing Online Arbitrage and want to sell a brand product that is currently sold on Amazon but it doesn't have that particular variation listed on there that I want to sell? Thanks!
You will need a barcode for each product that you are selling. You will need to purchase the UPC codes if they're brand new products not yet in the market. If you are reselling other brands products, you will not need a new UPC code as they'll already have one.

Great video guys. Im adding my 1st product. Was advised to create a dummy listing and have completed all fields in each tab, saving along the way. Im trying to get my FNSKU in order to add to my product packaging, at which point does Amazon give this ? I already have my GS1 barcodes and entered them etc.
@@junglescoutJust watched the video and it was very clear but I don't have that option after creating my listing ? I've 2 variations and used x2 GS1 barcodes, but inventory only shows one SKU (I Assume this is the FNSKU) ? Also why is there only 1 ? I thought I'd have 2.
Let’s say there are 4 variations of the product (4 colors) , how do we post photos of different variations??? N how many photos are we allowed to post in this case?

Hello Jungle Scout, If I add another marketplace, lets say Canada to my Amazon Seller account, Would I pay another monthly seller fee. In other words do I pay monthly seller fee for each market place or only 1 monthly seller fee and it covers more than 1 marketplace.
hi for UPC barcode, should I check with my supplier and see their product has it ? Or even supplier has it, I need to apply another UPC on my own. Thanks
Hey there, you was jumping so fast with explanation at the "Vital Info"... Could you please explain what should be written down under "Manufacture Part number"? Many thanks in advance
The Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) is not applicable to all types of products. It is a unique code issued by manufacturers to identify a product and it puts buyers’ minds at ease because they know that they are getting the right component.
You guys have very helpful information. Thanks for that! I do Have a question for you. I working on my company's Amazon page and I can't find anywhere how to add infographic images on the purchasing page... I've done it on individual pages (on the main brad page) - but I want to add more information where the costumer goes to actually buy the product. (I hope I am explaining this correctly). All I was able to add was the 6 photos and a video...and of course some specs and product info. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks so much.
I'm about to place my first Alibaba order. Do you suggest signing a contract with the supplier? What if they're hesitant to sign it, is that could be a red flag?
At the moment, the option to manually add a supplier isn't available yet. However, I'll pass this to our Devs and maybe we can see this option available in the future. 😉
Hi! Where is the info for finding the "seller sku"? I have watched multiple videos that fail to explain where to get this number from. NOT the product sku, but the seller sku it asks for at the top of one of these pages seen in the video.

I have a product that I’m listing (wholesale) same brand same size same count. Only difference is that is a different kind in the count. Do I have to do anything differently on that product?
@@junglescout sorry, it’s same brand same count same size. Example- I’m competing with product X original. My product X is with moisturizing and that’s the only difference. But when I research for the product X with moisturizing in the count I want to sale it in. I can’t seem to find any in that count to create the listing.
You are only able to hijack a listing if it is the exact same product If it is different, and there is no listing the same, you will need to create a new listing
If you "save and finsh" instead of "save draft" the listing, do you still have the option to edit it ? because i'm not done with my listing (i still have to add the images) but i want to get the FNSKU
Quick question. My product will be in FBA warehouse in a week. My actual unit size is 18.7 *14 *2, which unfortunately puts me in oversize category, I didn't know about this. I went back to edit product listing and I edited the unit size to 18 inches instead of 18.7, do you think amazon will measurement each unit and put me back on 18.7 inches ? I hope I made sense
The email I received from gs1 shows my gs1 us gtin, but it is different when I log into the gs1 page and go to product. it shows gtin not gtin 12 like your video. which one do I use the one in the email or the website?
Sure! If you received an email from GS1 showing your GS1 US GTIN, that is the correct number for your products. The GTIN is a unique identifier assigned by GS1 to identify products globally and can come in different formats. If you see a different GTIN number for your product on the GS1 website, contact GS1 customer service to verify which number is correct. 😊
Thank you JS! I have a question: I have created a new listing. I have not created a workflow to ship goods to FBA yet. Amazon says the listing is suppressed because "You have no active quantity. " Is this normal? Will my listing be OK after I send the goods to Amazon?
That might be the main reason why the listing is suppressed. I did a bit of research and found this that might help: sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/G200898440?language=en_US
@@junglescout Thanks a lot. I did some research, too. In the old navigation, AMZ has put suppressed and inactive together in one category called "Suppressed and Inactive". Does your product a storage type or something like a cup/ tumbler? If so, the capacity field is the maximum volume the product can actually hold in weight. 😃
It depends on the product you are selling. You can check the Seller Central article which could guide you here: sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G201618190?ref_=xx_G201618190_a_r5_cont_sgsearch
If those 50 products are all unique/different variations, then yes. Think of UPCs just like a US social security numbers that are assigned to individual persons. Each individual person that's born gets their own social security #. The same is true with UPCs.

Thank you always for your valuable content... My question is: when creating your first product listing for FBA, in the Brand section: if you have a brand but it is Not registered, can you put it anyway? meaning the brand does not have to be "registered" in order to put it in the brand section? please clarify.... thanks
Unfortunately, there's no way to use a brand name that is not registered 😞What you can do is to use NA, TBD, etc.^PW

Thanks!!!

Thanks😄
Unfortunately, your listing won't be visible on Amazon without sellable inventory
Thank you for this video and love the content!
I have a few questions regarding setting up the listing, not sure what is "Manufacturer Part Number" - is this coming from the manufacturer? where can I get it?
1. Manufacturer Part Number
2. Unit Count
3. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended
4. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended Unit of Measure.
Thanks a lot!
1. Manufacturer Part Number: The manufacturer should have this, this is for products that being sold as part of something, like car supplier, etc..
2. Unit count: it is the amount per product.
sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/help.html?itemID=G2RCDMZR4SKGQFAY
3. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended is the actual number of age recommended that can use the product
4. Minimum Manufacturer Age Recommended Unit of Measure is if it is Year, Month or day

That's definitely correct! 😼
Hi,very helpful video. One question, could you please tell me how do I add a product which is a set (for example 1 set of 4 chairs or 2 sets..). Waiting for your response
Hi Kaushi! You will need to create one listing and then add child listings or variations to it.
1. Yes, it would be best to have a registered business!
2. Have you tried creating an SKU when you were creating a shipping plan? ^PW

You can create the product listing and load the images later. It will just not be active on the platform until you upload the pictures.
Thank You
I suggest adding images that comply with the requirements, and then updating them before you launch your product or before it goes live.
Thank you so much it was very useful information

There would be no requirement so the choice of which style will be up to you :)

Hi, I really like your tutorial, to the point of what we need to do.
Question though with barcode, do we have to have barcode to list our items into fba? If yes, I have an item with 3 different varieties, I can just used one barcode for those three from what im getting in your video.

Yes, you need a GTIN for every product and every variant.

Hi! Thank you for this helpful video. I purchased the $30 package. I’m wondering how many UPC CODES I can get?
If you purchased the $30 package from GS1 US, you will get 100 UPCs. This is the maximum number of UPCs you can get for this package.
Hello, I ahve a question, If I am doing wholesale but the brand is not yet on Amazon? Should I add it? Or do I use generic? I am confused about this process..? Thank you!
If you are doing wholesale, and there is a UPC code or barcode already, use that to list and keep a generic brand name!
Ok but what if is not there? Then should I add it manually and add the brand name or put generic in that field? Thanks!
Yes!
Which one I should provide to my supplier if I'm doing FBA. FNSKU or GTIN? What should I provide to my forwarder if I am not using my supplier's forwarder? Thanks!
The FNSKU will be essential when sending inventory to the FBA warehouse.
Thanks for all the helpful information, quick question , do I need only one upc barcode for all my units ? Or do each unit have to have a upc barcode separately?
Thank you
As a general rule, each variation of your product will need a separate UPC code. If it's the same product then you can use the same UPC code.
Hi Jake! What do you recommend for a beginner who has no product of his own in FBA: "adding a product not sold on Amazon" or "selling existing product"? I'm lost so I badly need information please. In each case can you guide how to do so.

Hello Jake! I appreciate your help in the video and answering my question. I have product in Thailand. Is it possible to ship directly from there instead of shipping inventory to amazon?
Definitely! you can do FBM instead of FBA
Check out this video here: ruclips.net/video/zMjbcesyZs0/видео.html
very informative, Do I need UPC/GTIN to list the Product as a Dropshipper ??
We still recommend getting a UPC code from the GS1 database. 🙂
Hello, great video! I listed my own product on amazon but the images are looking way bigger than the images on other seller products when looking at the product page. The title and key points on my product page are therefore also squeezed more to the right because the image is so big on the left. Could you tell me why?
hmmm You'll have to reach out to Amazon to check how to reduce it!
Very Good video
Thank you!! 😊
2. SKU is provided by Amazon on a product level after you create the shipping plan
3. These are the bullet points ☺️
If I make mistake on my measurement of individual unit, and I have not shipped my product, how do I correct it as I have printed shipping label?
Do I need to purchase a new SKU for each variation item?
You need a different UPC for each variant.
Hi Jake! Thank you so much for the video, I'd be lost without it. One question I didn't seem answered in the comments...Does your brand/business have to have your name trademarked through USPTO or in the process of being trademarked through them prior to registering your brand on Amazon?
Are you referring to enrolling in the Brand registry program or the brand field when creating a product llisting? 🤔

You can apply for a trademark and enroll into the Brand registry even when your application is pending 😉
Hi guys, great videos. I have a question. In order to get the barcodes, do you need a subscription / account with GS1?
In Australia the subscription is over $500 which for me is a big expense for one barcode.
The one-time cost for licensing a single GS1 US GTIN is $30, with no annual renewal fee.
Hello Jungle Scout, Thank you immensely for a very informative video. This helped me a lot. How do I edit and/add more items to my variations listings. Hello! Thanks for the amazing video! When you buy the upc barcodes can you write your name and surname for business name? As i dont have other because am registered as individual
If you are registered as individual, yes. But with regard to the Brand name, it should be the Name your products to be known as their Brand. ^EG
thanks for you reply! if i change it later from individual to proffesional should i also buy other barcodes upc and list again the products? becouse in the old upc barcode registered is my name and surname not business name ? Thank you
As long as the brand name is the same, I believe that should be good.
In this case, the old UPC should work, as if you start selling via FBA, you will need the FNSKU on the packaging of your product 😊^PW
Yes, each listing can have its own title even for variations.

Hey! So those attributes appear to belong to products under the Jewelry category. Could you please confirm if the correct category was selected for your product? 🤔
What do you put for the model number in the product identity
You can put your product's model number if it has one. Like if you are selling a range of your own brand of speakers, they have their model number (they are usually part of the name of the product) to identify them.

Great Video Jake. Given that one product has one barcode, how do barcodes work when ordering multiple units of a Product. If ordering 100 units, how do we get 100 copies of the same barcode, and what is the cost?
Yes that's correct, for example, if you have a batch of 100 dog collars, they would all receive the same barcode. You could negotiate this with GS1!

Hi, do I need a UPC barcode if the product is my own brand? I know that amazon has an exemption option and assigns a GCID instead?
You will need a barcode for each product that you are selling. You will need to purchase the UPC codes if they're brand new products not yet in the market. If you are reselling other brands products, you will not need a new UPC code as they'll already have one.
How do we know how much upc barcode we need? Do we need to create a new seller account for retail arbitrage and private labeling ?
You need 1 UPC code per product, not per unit. And yes, you can sell using private label and retail arbitrage methods on the same account 😊^PW

You would need to add images for every child in a variation. Here's a great Seller Central forum discussion that can help on that! sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/forums/t/how-to-allocate-images-to-variations/23854😁- FO
Hello Jungle Scout, If I add another marketplace, lets say Canada to my Amazon Seller account, Would I pay another monthly seller fee.
In other words do I pay monthly seller fee for each market place or only 1 monthly seller fee and it covers more than 1 marketplace.
Yes, you will be charged by each marketplace each month.
hi for UPC barcode, should I check with my supplier and see their product has it ? Or even supplier has it, I need to apply another UPC on my own. Thanks
We'd certainly recommend that you Purchase a GS1 Amazon UPC Barcode 🤗- LJ
Hey there, you was jumping so fast with explanation at the "Vital Info"... Could you please explain what should be written down under "Manufacture Part number"? Many thanks in advance
The Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) is not applicable to all types of products. It is a unique code issued by manufacturers to identify a product and it puts buyers’ minds at ease because they know that they are getting the right component.
@@junglescout thank you for your respond. can I create one? Same as seller sku?
Unfortunately, it is something that only the manufacturer can provide
@@junglescout thank you! is that necessary to mention this number or it can left blank?
Yes, as it is not applicable to all types of products.
I have uk details account and I'm selling in USA market i have EAN numbers list can I use them? Or will it effect sales?
For the US or Canada marketplaces, you need the UPC to create a listing.
Ahhh sounds like you need to have brand registry so that you can access that A+ content!
@@junglescout do you mean to higher someone to do that? Thank you. Anything to guid me would help.
@@junglescout We do have our company Trade mark registered and patents for our products. Would that help? Thanks!
Brand Registered sellers can access the A+ content. Watch this for more information about it: ruclips.net/video/CsomQAKp_tU/видео.html
That will help because it's one of the requirements in applying to Brand Registry,
I'm about to place my first Alibaba order. Do you suggest signing a contract with the supplier? What if they're hesitant to sign it, is that could be a red flag?
Yes, it is best to sign a contract and PO agreement. We wouldn't recommend dealing with a supplier who doesn't want to commit to the agreement.
@@junglescout Thank you, again!
At the moment, the option to manually add a supplier isn't available yet. However, I'll pass this to our Devs and maybe we can see this option available in the future. 😉
You can check this link for that: pulse.ly/mj8eusy3rs
Hi! Where is the info for finding the "seller sku"? I have watched multiple videos that fail to explain where to get this number from. NOT the product sku, but the seller sku it asks for at the top of one of these pages seen in the video.
Hey Kim! 👋
I did a bit of research and found this article that might help: sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/200141470?language=en_US#:~:text=To%20access%20this%20information%2C%20go,see%20information%20for%20each%20shipment.
Do you have video how to list t-shirts in 2022? Is very difficult
We do not sell t-shirts now, but if we start, then we will definitely make a video about that!
I have a product that I’m listing (wholesale) same brand same size same count. Only difference is that is a different kind in the count. Do I have to do anything differently on that product?
Could you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by saying, "Only difference is that is a different kind in the count."? 🤔
@@junglescout sorry, it’s same brand same count same size. Example- I’m competing with product X original. My product X is with moisturizing and that’s the only difference. But when I research for the product X with moisturizing in the count I want to sale it in. I can’t seem to find any in that count to create the listing.
@@junglescout can I still use product X original- listing to create my listing? Even though my product X is with moisturizing
You are only able to hijack a listing if it is the exact same product
If it is different, and there is no listing the same, you will need to create a new listing
If you "save and finsh" instead of "save draft" the listing, do you still have the option to edit it ? because i'm not done with my listing (i still have to add the images) but i want to get the FNSKU
Yes, you can edit your listing whenever you would like to do that ☺️
@@junglescout ok thank you!
I hope I made sense
better to mention the right dimensions. Don't mess with Amazon. Try to avoid such things to be safe from any problem in future
I wouldn't recommend putting in an incorrect measurement just incase Amazon do check the sizes of your products! - LJ
Is this normal? Will my listing be OK after I send the goods to Amazon?
That might be the main reason why the listing is suppressed. I did a bit of research and found this that might help: sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/G200898440?language=en_US
@@junglescout Thanks a lot. I did some research, too. In the old navigation, AMZ has put suppressed and inactive together in one category called "Suppressed and Inactive". Then I go to the new navigation, in "Fix your product", inactive and suppressed are separated. So my listing is under the "inactive" and not in "suppressed", I think they are fine.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this! 😀
Hi, Is the shipment id and product id same?
The shipment ID is not the same as the Product ID. The shipment ID is associated with the shipment while product ID is usually GTIN/UPC
what is the capacity field for when creating a listing?
Does your product a storage type or something like a cup/ tumbler? If so, the capacity field is the maximum volume the product can actually hold in weight. 😃
Hi, I am selling selling a product having 20 pairs in sigle pack what should i type in unit count. I mean 1 or 20
It depends on the product you are selling. You can check the Seller Central article which could guide you here: sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G201618190?ref_=xx_G201618190_a_r5_cont_sgsearch
Hello , how I can optimize listing if I use the wholesale business model?
(When I am adding a product that already exist on Amazon )
You can use the Listing Builder tool in Jungle Scout to do so.
@@junglescout I mean I am selling on an existing listing ! So how I can modify and adjust title, description , images….?
You will need to get the owner of the listing's permission to make any changes.
what if i dont sell brand name product? What should i put on manufacturer?
If it is a private label, or it is your own brand then you should put you or your own brand. ^EG
HEY IF i have 50 models do i need to buy 50 upcs?
If those 50 products are all unique/different variations, then yes. Think of UPCs just like a US social security numbers that are assigned to individual persons. Each individual person that's born gets their own social security #. The same is true with UPCs.
Is there a more detailed video on Listing products for resellers? I hope you can answer
It's almost the same as what's shown here depending if the product already exists on Amazon
@@junglescout if it’s already sold on Amazon, do you still need the UPC barcode?
Nope, you won't need your own!
@@junglescout thank you so much!
Hey! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the content! 🙂 --Lenny
hello! if I want to brand my product from manufacture which i have not trademark it yet ,becouse i want to test the product first, do i need the UPC barcode to list the item with my brand ? or i can list it without product ID, requesting GTIN exemption and brand approval? thank you
You can check if you can request the GTIN exemption but generally, if you will be listing your private label product you will need a UPC per product per variation. ^EG
I need help I am trying to auto assigns a GTIN but it’s saying I do not have capacity to assign a GTIN into this product
