Great tutorial, about the packaging the item would be placed inside a box and I understand the box would have an FNSKU number but if I'm ordering 100 items and each one has FNSKU number but then 20 of them are placed in a larger box with shipping information on the box, What does the larger box need to have on it besides shipping information? does it need FNSKU number as well.

Can we just have supplier ship directly to our home then send in to amazon without using the freight forwarder? How do you fix Error 8541? The value 'yyy' specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value 'xxxx' for ASIN 'www' in the Amazon catalog. If this is ASIN 'www, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc.) Since video said we are creating a draft listing i thought i will be able to update the product name later, but now it looks like a major issue since my inventory is already on the way with this listing

As I have narrowed in on one product and am ready to reach out to potential suppliers on Alibaba, my question is this: a lot of the products they are manufacturing are clearly being sold as private label on AMZ. When I describe the "improvement" and innovation I want them to potentially create for me, is there a risk that they may want to introduce this brilliant idea to their existing buyers that are already established on AMZ? When creating the product listing (1:24:00), I'm getting an error that the UPC barcode I had entered in does not match the Brand Name ("This product does not have a brand name" option) I've entered in. It only allows me to progress once the brand name entered is the same as what's on GS1 and is then requesting an approval application from AMZN. How do you know how much monthly sales a store is making. The math just ain’t mathing with your feature. On some sellers it states 200,000 in monthly sales but then when you check their reviews there’s only like 13 reviews. Are you a scam company just inflating the numbers?

Hi there, this video was shot late last year, the platform could have changed in this time. We recommend opting for which ever package they currently have that fits you. It could be they have made changes since this video. Subscriptions are normal and not a worry. This allows you to pay only when you need to!
If you are selling FBM, then there is no need for a barcode on the product; use whatever method lets you determine the correct product when you pick and pack it for shipping.

I set up my account and selected 'No' for 'Do you own a brand?' in the seller account registration info (under an Individual account). At 1:08:43, you said to click 'Yes' for this question. Since I clicked 'No', will this affect my ability to sell private label products as shown in this video? Is it even possible to change it to 'Yes'?
I believe that you can still edit this option in the future. You also have an option to upgrade your Seller account to the Professional from Individual.

Just a quick question!? Like I have a brand already registered with USPTO. And I already done my brand registration with Amazon as well.! I launched the product in US store. So meanwhile can I use this same brand on different store?? Like In Australia or UAE ??? A
There may be another policy when you sell on another marketplace. I recommend contacting Seller Central support for the process of using the same brand on another marketplace.

What do you do if you start listing a brand as generic, get it shipped, and while amazon is processing you get approved by brand registry? Amazon is not allowing me to change the brand from generic to the newly registered brand, but if I create a new listing, the product already shipped is under the generic ASIN. They don't seem to know how to reconcile one with the other
From my understanding, it is not possible to update the brand name for your products from a generic one; you need to create new ASINs for your branded products. Since the product is already in transit to Amazon, you may need to contact Seller Central support for further assistance.

Hello could you explain me and help me please with PPC, because if I understand it right from what I saw in your videos, average price for one click on ad is around 1 USD and on average you need to clicks for one sale so if you want like 300 units sold monthly you need to pay around 3000usd monthly? Is that right or do I understand something wrong, because if you sell item for around 20 USD, after all FBA fees I don't know how anyone could be profitable with paying 3000usd monthly only on advertising. From the RFQ template, am I requesting a sample to decide if I want to sell the product, then ordering a trial of 500 to be shipped to an Amz warehouse, followed by (hopefully) several thousand more? I was a little confused on that process. Definitely don't want to receive 500 units to my home address.

I have another question and need help - I went ahead and bought UPC code from GS1 - around 10 of them and now trying to list the product on Amazon but its giving me error 8572. Does the name i registered on GS1 should match what I list on Amazon? I haven't registered the company so I am putting it as Generic on Amazon while GS1 allowed me to use any name so I used my company name (which i will register later as). Is this the reason of error?
The product ID is associated with a brand that you are not authorized to sell. To resolve error 8572, you will need to provide Amazon with proof that you are the authorized seller of the product and that the product ID is correct. You can do this by submitting a GS1 product authentication certificate.

Couple questions:
1. A supplier sent as a couple samples to our home via UPS. Also quoted Air shipping via UPS for bulk order. Can we just have supplier ship directly to our home then send in to amazon without using the freight forwarder? Size of the product is small so a couple hundred units will probably be a couple medium boxes.
2. Can our actual product have our company url printed or etched on it?
3. Is there a limit on how many items can be sent to amazon for the first time under the paid seller plan?

How do you fix Error 8541? The value 'yyy' specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value 'xxxx' for ASIN 'www' in the Amazon catalog. If this is ASIN 'www, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc.)

As I have narrowed in on one product and am ready to reach out to potential suppliers on Alibaba, my question is this: a lot of the products they are manufacturing are clearly being sold as private label on AMZ. When I describe the "improvement" and innovation I want them to potentially create for me, is there a risk that they may want to introduce this brilliant idea to their existing buyers that are already established on AMZ? When I request a DDP quote, suppliers ask for a post code or FBA code. How do I get that before committing to buy a product?

When creating the product listing (1:24:00), I'm getting an error that the UPC barcode I had entered in does not match the Brand Name ("This product does not have a brand name" option) I've entered in. It only allows me to progress once the brand name entered is the same as what's on GS1 and is then requesting an approval application from AMZN. Should this be the case? any help would be appreciated, thank you!
In the Brand name field, enter the brand which is the same as on GS1. You shouldn't need approval as long as you purchased the UPC from GS1.

How do you know how much monthly sales a store is making. The math just ain’t mathing with your feature. On some sellers it states 200,000 in monthly sales but then when you check their reviews there’s only like 13 reviews. Are you a scam company just inflating the numbers?

Hi there, this video was shot late last year, the platform could have changed in this time. We recommend opting for which ever package they currently have that fits you. It could be they have made changes since this video. Subscriptions are normal and not a worry. This allows you to pay only when you need to!
If I'm selling a product via FBM does it need a UPC barcode?
If you are selling FBM, then there is no need for a barcode on the product; use whatever method lets you determine the correct product when you pick and pack it for shipping.

I set up my account and selected 'No' for 'Do you own a brand?' in the seller account registration info (under an Individual account). At 1:08:43, you said to click 'Yes' for this question. Since I clicked 'No', will this affect my ability to sell private label products as shown in this video? Is it even possible to change it to 'Yes'?
I believe that you can still edit this option in the future. You also have an option to upgrade your Seller account to the Professional from Individual.

A question on bank accounts. If we start the business from say Asia, to sell in the Amazon US store, can we use bank accounts in the home country instead of opening a bank account in the U.S. i recall Amazon charges a fee for currency conversions if you use a foreign bank account?
It is best to have an account in the country where you are selling. You can open e-accounts so you avoid fees, plus it's easier to work with!

There may be another policy when you sell on another marketplace. I recommend contacting Seller Central support for the process of using the same brand on another marketplace.

What do you do if you start listing a brand as generic, get it shipped, and while amazon is processing you get approved by brand registry? Amazon is not allowing me to change the brand from generic to the newly registered brand, but if I create a new listing, the product already shipped is under the generic ASIN. They don't seem to know how to reconcile one with the other
From my understanding, it is not possible to update the brand name for your products from a generic one; you need to create new ASINs for your branded products.
Since the product is already in transit to Amazon, you may need to contact Seller Central support for further assistance.

Have you had a situation where you started generic and THEN got approved to brand registry? If so, how did you make the switch? For business entity : should I put my First and Last name?

Hello could you explain me and help me please with PPC, because if I understand it right from what I saw in your videos, average price for one click on ad is around 1 USD and on average you need to clicks for one sale so if you want like 300 units sold monthly you need to pay around 3000usd monthly? Is that right or do I understand something wrong, because if you sell item for around 20 USD, after all FBA fees I don't know how anyone could be profitable with paying 3000usd monthly only on advertising. The cost of a PPC bid will depend on the keyword itself and its popularity. For some keywords, you will pay less than $1, but for other keywords, you might pay more than that.

From the RFQ template, am I requesting a sample to decide if I want to sell the product, then ordering a trial of 500 to be shipped to an Amz warehouse, followed by (hopefully) several thousand more? I was a little confused on that process. Definitely don't want to receive 500 units to my home address.
Yes, you want to get the physical product before deciding to go for it. 😉 You can also use the same to take live photos for your listing.

Hi, I've a shipment that was created over 90 days ago and the shipment hasn't been received yet in Amazon. The status says "Automatically closed after 90 days" under Shipment Summary / Contents. Hi guys, at the shipping plan stage I haven't been able to progress past step 1- I get a message in red saying"This product exceeds your current FBA capacity limit for Standard-size storage. " What would you advise to change this as it won't let me complete the shipping plan without doing something about it?

I have another question and need help - I went ahead and bought UPC code from GS1 - around 10 of them and now trying to list the product on Amazon but its giving me error 8572. Does the name i registered on GS1 should match what I list on Amazon?
I haven't registered the company so I am putting it as Generic on Amazon while GS1 allowed me to use any name so I used my company name (which i will register later as). Is this the reason of error?
The product ID is associated with a brand that you are not authorized to sell. To resolve error 8572, you will need to provide Amazon with proof that you are the authorized seller of the product and that the product ID is correct. You can do this by submitting a GS1 product authentication certificate.

Trying to follow step by step but after I enter a product and go to print the FNSKU under edit print item labels isn’t even an option? Did Amazon change this? Do you have any advice on this
