Another thing about doing this method (at least for me when I started out) is that this style of narration gave me a chance to get more comfortable with my style as I developed my overall skills... This really is great advice! 👍
Thanks for inspiring my vo journey, as well. I got some equipment, treated my closet, spent the last couple weeks figuring out how to use a DAW. I just recorded a test sample and bounced it off a friend to see what they thought about the quality. Guess I'm ready to browse some titles and audition a few hundred times.
This is me now. I'm working out of an "adult fort" I constructed with blankets and my old massage table. I'm having a hard time finding things for my voice though... I'm in the medium high range and most want "middle aged". So, I've been applying for some nonpaying comic youtube dubs and a few things on upwork. Working on my acoustic and sound treatment within my space so I can get some paid work!
This was awesome and the video popped up on my IPad just when I was feeling a little overwhelmed about starting my VO journey. Thanks again. Looking forrad to more videos!
This video is AWESOME!! Thank you!! I have a question about Fiverr or UpWork: for the Commercial and Broadcast License ~ do WE personally provide that to the clients when they purchase? Or is that something that the platforms provide automatically?
This is great content man! But I have a question and forgive me if it’s been answered before or you’ve done a video on it, but how do you deal with taxes as a freelancer in voice acting?
Can't know how I bumped onto this. Anyway Awesome clip 🤩🤩🤩. I also have been watching those similar from mStarTutorials and kinda wonder how you guys make these vids. MSTAR TUTORIALS also had cool information about similiar things on his vids.
I'm at the beginning...THANK YOU FOR THIS!

So legally, it is up to us to uphold the rules but the platforms usually offer extras for the client to purchase

So I would highly recommend talking to a tax consultant. That’s what I do
@@AVOsJOURNEY good to know, thank you!
