Went to broadcasting school and have a pretty deep voice. I tried some voiceovers to ppl IRL and despite me not having the confidence, their reactions gave me the confidence. They said I should totally go for this, I sound great, etc. So here I am trying to find one of my dream jobs.

Hi Bill. Been whining about getting nothing off Fiverr for two months. Got a request from a buyer for one of my genres prayer and meditation. It's the first real nibble I've gotten. Now I need to record my DIY demos for Fiverr Audiobooks an Faith Based. And do my demo for ACX. In the meantime, I need to start a read of my late husband's book. Nothing to lose. Listen to your videos every morning. Thank you for all you do. Blessings, Sandra

I am so glad I found your channel. I took a one day voice over course several years ago and really liked the lady, but I wasn't interested in doing 'character' voices for fiction or cartoons, etc. I got a bit turned off(scared off) by all the information she tried to cram in one day, but I want to try again. Your information got that spark fired up in me again...thank you for your time.

I’m finally getting out of my own way, I’ve wanted to do this very thing since I was 10 years old. I’m going to be 32 in August. I don’t want to waste anymore of my life not chasing this dream. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and so many others, you are truly loved and appreciated 💜💜💜

I have done bookreading for my friends, in improvised fashion, and I definitely got a taste of how dialogue-heavy fiction can be... Demanding. I first did Hobbit, and that was a great and relaxing adventure, with beautifully written and flowing narration. And then I jumped into Dune.
I gave up after a chapter, I think. Maybe two. Go on, try and see how that book's actually constructed...

Thanks huge for sharing about entry-level platforms like Fiverr, ACX, and Upwork. I joined each of these months ago, and the reward and experience has been decent.
And for clarifying about NOT submitting DIY or beginner work to Agencies until they are professionally engineered. Considering an actor friend also stated this, clarifying only professionally audited or compiled pieces go to an agent (when you've accumulated enough clips :)
