Nice review and great Ren voice. 😂 Merch from this era fascinates me, particularly in the presentation. The packaging is so dense with details you just don't see these days. Look on the back of an action figure card today and half the text is warranties in different languages. There's no flavour, no character, not even a "collect them all!" message. I used to collect card back too, back in the day when I used to collect Toy Biz *Marvel Legends,* among others. That being said, a lot of figures are better overall. The move away from built-in action features was a good call, imo. I'll admit these are funky, little toys - a real time capsule - but I wouldn't say their really my thing.
Thank you. The packaging is nice, which is why most keep them MOC, but I got to open them and experience them. The play features are fun to see now but I know as a kid they mostly got in the way of my imagination more than help it. And I did notice modern figures just have a lot of international crossover loaded on so they don't have to print separate ones. A bit lame. I've really been getting these older figures more than getting anything new because of being able to FINISH lines, and most anything I like is from back then anyway. But I like showing the old ones here so people can really see them without doing a hunt for them.
@@MBXfilms Yeah, I think we all had a few toys like that. Filling in the gaps is part of the fun, mind. I just like posing my toys and creating tableaus. 😂 Oh, that makes sense as a cost-cutting method. Didn't actually think of that. 😅 As for completing lines, I'm with you there. I have no end of trouble trying to finish the 4-inch _Fortnite_ series. Gave up on it last year because the release schedule was so erratic and supplies where I am just dry up almost instantly. I don't dedicate myself to anything now, but I see your advantage in going after concluded series. Albeit, prices can still be an inhibitive factor, depending on the toy. Are there any particular things you're hunting down these days?
@@DoctorInk20 Displaying is where I need to dedicate some time but I spend so much time editing videos right now. I was collecting newer lines like Marvel Legends and realized there is no end in sight. Better to get all the stuff I wish I had as a kid, just have to be slow about it for anything people want a lot of money for. Plenty I am hunting and planning on doing videos for, Inspector Gadget is one I am keeping my eye out for. With time people will list for reasonable prices, you have to be patient and make offers. I've though of doing an eBay guide video but I think it wouldn't quite be in line with what I am trying to show here, in RUclips's eye. My issue right now is them now really finding the right audience for my videos here. I put a lot into editing and crafting them for viewing.
@@MBXfilms Oh patience definitely pays off there. It's surprising what can pop up when you least expect it. I'm hoping I can find a retro _Earthworm Jim_ figure myself. I gave up on *Marvel Legends* way back in 2007. Haven't touched the modern ones for being too pricey for what they are, but I've been very tempted by some of the, i.e. '90s-style Cable and Deadpool. Didn't bother in the end. Oh yeah, I forgot about the 1992 _Gadget_ toys. Wish they had some extra articulation, but that's just me. For such a fun character, there's surprisingly few toys of him. Ever see the 1980s Galoob toy of him? Yeah, making a guide might send the wrong message, but it's something to keep in mind for later maybe. Good videos, mind.
@@DoctorInk20 Earthworm had some great looking stuff that would fit in here nicely. Ha ha yes I saw the Galoob stuff, but really the reruns are when I would have been watching in the 90's anyway. Thank you, trying to get a good library of videos here for people to discover.
I forgot all about having a few and didn't think about others being out there. They were worth hunting down for me, I always watched the cartoon when it was new.
Nice video and new subscriber 🙏Where do you bought does toys ? I wanna buy the same toys too but they don’t have stimpy on sale only ren do you know any websites where I can buy it ?
😂 you had me dying, your impressions of Ren are perfect, especially Glazed Ham
I'd hoped I wasn't over doing it, since I really have no impression of Stimpy to do at all. More Ren and Stimpy coming here very soon
@@MBXfilms Not at all, can't overdo Space Madness quotes
I’d never thought I hear someone say “Stimpy Missile!” In a Ren Hoek impression, but here we are
Some one could likely make quite the out of context compilation.

Never knew Mattel released these toys. The back card packaging description is a lot.

Can you do a, Ren and Stimpy voice impressions.
Not really but I try in a few of the retro reviews of these old toys: ruclips.net/p/PLkVjD6XP11Vrz73MkvTfE2IfcnnIcMkxl
Okay then.
But, I bet that your very good at of, Ren and Stimpy's voice impressions.

do you know any websites where I can buy it ?
They are old toys from the 90's, so any site where people sell their old things like eBay. Or specialty stores that sell old toys of the past.
WAS THAT YOU'RE REN VOICE?!!
ya
@@MBXfilms WOW
Do you know about, Cuphead?
I did play it when it first came out.
Oh.
There is some, Cuphead & Mugman Funko action figures.
