Totally understand. For perspective though. I have over 230hrs on TBI bikes with 1 Fi issue. Not too big of a deal for the amazing performance these new bikes offer. Maybe you have ridden a TBI already but if not…I would recommend the XC or TX models to try out before buying the Rieju or Beta.
No, I didn’t get a red dongle when I purchased the bike. Long story…but I ordered one in November and it’s still backordered until April. All good though. Took it in today and got it all fixed up. 4 unknown codes, they did a flash update, engine control unit and still had one unknown code. Turned out it was the exhaust control actuator error. Dirt got into the connection and once it was cleaned and plugged back in the error code was gone. Ready to go!
@@pnwdirtridersbrianlynn8112 just hit the start button but dont start the bike, like tap it then 3 full twists of the throttle should reset the codes. Don't need a dongle

Had a’17 KTM300 absolutely bulletproof. The new KTM’s just have too many glitches I will probably buy a Rieju or a Beta next.

I like Cycra for closed in protection. Lots of good options out there and it depends on your preferences.
I just put some cycra wrap around on my beta last week. I'd recommend.

How man miles do you get out of a tank of gas?
Depends on the terrain I am riding but 60-65 plus is reliable for single track mountain riding.

Do you ever find that the bike needs a fan?
it has overheated 2 times in 105hrs so I have not added one yet. I think the new gearing helps avoid excessive clutch play.

Me too. Thinking it is fuel injection related because the Fi light is solid and not flashing.
That sucks.... Just goes to show tpi or tbi doesn't matter you can have failures.
And carbs can fail, too. He made it back to the truck easily so the vid is kind of click bait. It was an update needed not a failure.

No, 105 plus hours and no issues.

Is the 23 tx shorter than the ktm xc? The moto bike is supposed to be 1”+\- shorter
