    The TPI bike Is much better than A TBI, They have more horsepower better fuel economy, And a better fuel tank pick up. The power valve is adjusted too far out on that TPI. For some reason nobody will give an honest opinion.

    • @Unkownktm
      @Unkownktm 3 месяца назад

      Don’t agree, I’ve had both and TBI this is overall better, much smoother and as for torque, not sure where you get your info from. Fuel economy is better on the TBI. On hill climbs TBI is a beast. Play with your sprocket size and minor changes on mapping. Suspension stock is next level, can’t compare with the TPI stock.

      @@Unkownktm Nope, I Ride against 2 2024 huskvarna 300s weekly. My TPI250 with a high compression head Cooper ECU and simple modes has more power. Is and far better fuel range. I go 65 miles in the mountains before my fuel light comes on. I can still go further. The TBIS do not compare.. They run out of fuel because of the fuel pump location. And I get my information from first-hand riding weekly. Hard enduro in the mountains with a group of people.

    I have zero issues with my tpi and it runs with out any issues. 2023 Gasgas ec250 that I had tuned by John @ Tpituning and it made it run better than I couldve asked for. Made adjustments to the tune to make it function so well by fixing issues I didnt know existed or things I could not even put into words. All of that for $250 too.
    I have a 2023 ktm 125xc that is TBI and it doesnt really run differently enough that I feel the need to sell my tpi to buy a tbi
    Just seems like its for the guys who buy the new Apple iphone every year🤷‍♂

      My 23 gas gas EC250 rips. No ECU needed. Only added a high compression s3 head, I'm very happy with this bike. My opinion KT m's best bike was 2022. Now they're going backwards.

    Found the 300xcw a but dissapointing motor wise, needs work as much as the TPi's did. The XC's seem to have more go between 4000-5000pm. The frame does feel overly stiff to me in comparison. The 2025 is likely to be modified like Billy Bolts. Having ridden a bit of all of them i'd prob pickup a runout 250Tpi with the flexy frame and throw a TBI relocation at it.

    Crazy how 2 stroke technology has evolved. Probably safe to say most of us thought two strokes were fead when the four strokes took over. Cool to see two strokes still being desired and liged.

      @@nightrider4370 I never put them down. KTM has some awesome bikes, in 1981 I had and desert raced a KTM495. Just because I prefer my yz250x now and it works best for me does not mean I'm saying the rest suck, that would be ignorant.
      I'm old school and don't need extra electronics to deal with, on the same note their are riders who multi-task their bikes and like fuel map choice, nothing wrong with that, personally I don't need that so that is why I have what I have. My choice is based on my riding style period.🙂

    Pretty lame comparison really. Should take them for days on different trails and really put them to a real test. Also, any time you take a new bike it's going to feel better than a used one. Nothing better than a nice tight new bike, not to mention you've put all that money in the suspension and totally different tire set up on the new bike.

    I don’t want to appear negative… but what’s the point in adding performance parts like a slip on pipe and look to upgrade the ECU mapping when you don’t rev the bike even to halfway?.
    It’s very cruisey slow riding, so you’d be better off on an old XR250 .
    It sounds horrible but I really don’t want to come across that way at all 🙅🏽‍♂️
