Poor Jonsi--he was obviously struggling vocally. You can see Orri and Georg give him a pat on the back when they were walking to switch instruments as if they were telling him "it's ok Jonsi, we have your back." Great song though.
It looked to me like his microphone wasn’t working properly. You can see his mouth is moving and you can even hear his voice at points but veeeery far away, meaning he Was singing. Poor Jonsi, that must’ve been so frustrating for him. But an amazing song, nonetheless. I wonder when they’ll release a recorded version. Seeing it live was one of the most surreal experiences...the stage and the red lights...it shattered me 😭❤️
Matthew Schrader yeah his vocal chords suffered a lot on this tour. This particular night was his fourth in a row so it must've been hard for him. Also age :)
That falsetto is incredibly difficult. Not of mere mortals. It did pain me to see Jonsi struggle like that though. I've seen Sigur Ros multiple times and was even lucky enough to meet Jonsi years ago before a show in a tiny theater in Dallas, TX.
This song is so beautiful! If I should be slowly dying please make sure this is playing in the background.
Great live video, too!
Es muy loco que algo que esta cantado en un idioma que no entiendo me haga sentir tan feliz...

Amazing show... thanks for capturing.

Is it normal that he lose his voice so much? I was at the concert in Detroit, MI, Fri, June 2nd and he even stopped the show for a bit to recoup

Their new album is going to kill me with sorrow.
I think God had a hand in writing this...
