Nils brings together extraordinary values... The tenacity, the not conforming, the constancy in the constant search for new languages within the music. His emotionality and his melodies, his melancholy, captivated me from the first time I heard him. Seeing him live is a real experience. He is probably my favourite musician at the moment.
I was lucky enough to see Nils in Manchester this year. It was spellbinding. Although I'm loathe to single any part out of this superb gig, that Prolog/Right Right Right section is majestic. How he makes all those sounds and textures meld together to create one big, symphonic instrument... just amazing.

I have already seen this live in Berlin(Funkhaus), Gent(Jazz Festival) and Eindhoven(Concert Hall) and have another 1st-row reservation for a show in Duisburg later this year. So far, every single show was a very unique experience and this recording is no exception. I still have no idea why some of these tracks push buttons in me that literally nothing else has been able to push. Thanks to @arteconcert for making this video available. Had the incredible privilege of listening to the mighty Nils Frahm at the Barbican in London this past weekend. Standing ovation! But for more than just his exceptional performance and glorious gift. You stand, feeling, to the very bones of you, that you’ve witnessed and been part of something once-in-a-lifetime extraordinary. There really are no words. It’s all feels. The eyes sting before you realise the tears are there. See him! If you get the chance. Be in the Nils Frahm space.

Was so grateful to see this Paris recording will be coming out on Spotify shortly.. had the pleasure of seeing Nils Frahm again for this performance in Oslo earlier this autumn. Big concert hall but you could hear a pin drop, crowd was completely silent just taking in the magnificence of Frahm's performance. The prolog on the glass armonica is truly breathtaking.
just saw him in London the other night. Nearly the same set. Fantastic experience, unlike any other show i've seen before (anywhere, from anyone!). And so glad he played Says near the end (which was pretty much the first and only song i actually knew of him, but hey a neighbor was kind enough to give away their tickets since they couldn't go so i jumped at the chance, and i left speechless. He really knows how to spellbind you and the entire show including the acoustics blew me away!!

Just back from tonight's concert and it was phenomenal, having waited since 2014 for an opportunity. Thanks for also playing Says and More, and for allowing recordings like this one to be posted so we can live it again, until the next occasion...
I was there yesterday in Casino too. I was also waiting since 2014 to see him. 2 hours of pure magic and exploson of emotions. I hope he comes to Switzerland soon so we can enjoy this pure talent again.
Do not laugh at me for what you will read, but it is Monday, I am processing orders, fixing some issues, and I am listening to this, on max loudness, with windows gently vibrating, and somehow, I am typing in things in the rhythm, hyper focused, cannot believe how effective I am, and somehow, at the same time, having goosebump waves across my naked skin, because Nils is doing drops every minute or so, and every hair, every skin cell responds in unison, and I shudder and continue processing orders, and, somehow, fucking loving it.
Just saw Nils Frahm's concert in Helsinki tonight! What a great experience and excellent demonstration of Nils' craftsmanship 🔥 First heard Nils together with Olafur Arnalds a few years ago, but was not too familiar with his works. Great evening tonight!

Nils never disappoints us with his improvisations! Became a fan 6 years ago and his musics are the only ones I can listen to infinite times and still go back to them when I need creativity... This time, lively recording the sound of the audience for the remix?! WOW! that was incredible!

OK, 10 minutes in, dropped everything I was doing...
same
Same 😂
I finally got to see Nils in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, a few months ago... loved it! ❤ The room was dead silent at times, just in awe... great great performance 🤗
Chapeau l'artiste. Ou plutôt casquette.
This is what i call an ARTIST!! Thank you ARTE for promoting these people! :)
Adieu Says 😢
Et pourtant....😢😢😢, quel titre incroyable
just saw him in London the other night.
The Barbican is a special venue for seeing Nils Frahm. I think this was my third or fourth time seeing him there and by far my favourite. He went to new levels with this one, absolutely stunning
Merveilleux musicien, magnifique concert, MERCI !
It's fascinating how he seamlessly transitions between machines while creating these unearthly sounds.
Nils Frahm is a true genius
God I love Nils Frahm, man is a genius is the truest sense of the word... he just seamlessly slips into flow and remains there for 90 minutes. I need this man to save some Juno-60's for the rest of us though! Thank you ARTE for making this available to us all, truly a blessing.
It's not a concert, it's a experience❤
Amazing, inspirational. Bright and hopeful music for a dark world.
Thanks, Nils, for inviting us to experience the wonderful world you live in.
Nils Frahm presents an imaginative concert with sensitive musicianship. This is the first time I’ve heard of him and I look forward to discovering more of his gems.
A performer without ego who takes real care and interest in the sonic journey provided to the audience. Masterful! Wow!
I saw him in Cambridge last night. Totally amazing performance! It was great to hear "Says", my personal favourite, as the first encore.
Simply a genius, an artist at the height of his creation. A genius!
Love your words!!
This music is boosting order to cash processes in your company
that's why my order is taking so long...hurry up!
Mon coeur en bat... Amazing chaire de poule. Thank you so much!!
Maravilloso...sublime...espectacular, conmovedor.
Just saw Nils Frahm's concert in Helsinki tonight! What a great experience and excellent demonstration of Nils' craftsmanship 🔥
First heard Nils together with Olafur Arnalds a few years ago, but was not too familiar with his works. Great evening tonight!
I wouldn't cross the road to watch a Taylor Swift concert but could watch this guy all day long. The guy is a genius.
I’d give my second child to watch Led Zeppelin and take on an oncoming bus to watch this.
No need to shit on Taylor Swift to express your love for Nihls 🙃
Nils' concerts are really something. Thank you.
Only saw this today! Caught him for the first time in Dublin last night. He played most of this setlist - but added Says and For - Peter
Look at the first row to see how Nil's music attracts various age groups. As always, well done, Nils!
Magical spells❤
It was Mind-blowing.
One of the best concert ever experienced, unique feeling
This is one of the most beautiful things I have seen and heard this year by far. What a time to be alive. (Mexico awaits for you!)
i must say that 'briefly' played live might be my new absolute favourite track - what an insane collection of sounds!!
This here, this concert, having witnessed it also Live in Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, is one of the greatest things ever happened to the world! His music is Hope for Humanity!
Saw him in Stockholm last night, top 3 gigs of all time for me
Soul, body and machine in one of it's finest expression in 21st century 🙏🏻
Watched this show earlier this year in Manchester - absolutely amazing sonic experience. So great that it was recoreded - I'll be rewatching it many times.
Even if im watching this at home i wanna applaud when a song is ended, its so good. I love it so much. Each and every time.
The best liveperformance i've ever seen. It was a trip seeing Nils live. Just wow..
Nils never disappoints us with his improvisations! Became a fan 6 years ago and his musics are the only ones I can listen to infinite times and still go back to them when I need creativity...
This time, lively recording the sound of the audience for the remix?! WOW! that was incredible!
I do not understand people that do not understand and FEEL this music.
And that's totally cool. You only need to understand how it makes you feel. Life is beautiful and full of variance. Peace
This has just come out as an album proper (Paris) which I've basically had on repeat so to find it on here as the full live concert it amazing, going in
There is nothing like music in this world it is MAGICAL and it pierces my soul like nothing else and Nils goes right into my soul !!!
I can't believe something this "peaceful" could be so energetic and passionate.
So much fun seeing him rock out towards the end 😂 He's "feeling it"
Man is a genius. I can’t listen to this concert enough times.
Thanks for this masterpiece, Arte. Saw him last year in Cologne. Tried to record it without good sound quality. Now I can finally relive the concert!
Incrível... Magestoso... Grande abraço de um fã do Brasil.
Saw him performing this set yesterday in Gateshead! Could now wait longer to hear it again! Astonishing experience
I was at the Glasshouse too. My seat was so uncomfortable that it ruined the magic a little, but I’ve re-lived it through watching this and it looks as though I was having a bad night, not him. I’m glad that other people enjoyed it though.
@@ManGoatHamburger I am sorry to hear it! I was lucky, my wife found tickets very early and we could enjoy it from literally 5 feets away from Nils!
Thats the new classic music...Incredible great
