I owned the first generation VW Tiguan 2013, and 10 years later, no major expenses just regular maintenance, and it just ran fine.
What you think of 2012-13 passat 2.0 tdi manual? Will it be good?
We brought Taigun five months back as our first car. Initially we were in dilemma on going for VW because of bad reviews of so many youtubers. Thank God we didn't accepted their advice and went for Taigun. Just loved the vehicle. Thankfully the car has been free of any niggle till now😊.

@@coolbro4230We get a mileage of 11-12 kmpl in peak hour traffic in Gurgaon. In off-peak hour it generally hovers around 14-16 kmpl. On the highway, the number generally lies around 19-21 kmpl range.

I have same model few inputs, u can claim 19-20 kmpl in this car easily on highway, 13-14 kmpl in city. Suspensions are not that bad pls make sure tyre psi would be 33 and then see the magic. Few niggles are 100% there but I think best pick for me in this segment.
Btw nice video! Yes, u can cut the call from steering no need to touch touchscreen.
PS: After 38k u still not removed instrumental cluster plastic 😮

I bought Taigun 1.0 AT two months ago. While braking, especially on inclines, there is a noise coming. It’s as if brake pads stick to the wheel. Will this noise go away after some months ?
Get it checked, maybe the noise is because of something else.
Which variant is value for money. Don't you think 1.5 MT is too expensive compared to 1.5 mt kushaq? Which would you recomend for budget buyers? Kindly suggest sir,?

Get the 1.0L variant (Manual or automatic) complete the Run in Period, and get it Tuned after that( not above 150ps if you do not want to change Internal components of the car) it'll be rock solid Reliable and as powerful as the 1.5L
And yes, both the 1.0 and 1.5L are overpriced considering the competition they are facing

See VW ki servicing is a little bit more expensive, but if you take there extensive packages which cover everything and extend the warranty as well, in the longer run, it'll cost you lesser than traditional servicing cost.
Servicing cost being more because of higher quality of parts and some being brought through cbu etc.

But I’m concerned about the fuel economy
It’s returning only 5-6kmpl
Drive it in Bigger Gears, keep check on tyre pressures or, get it checked, in the service centre. 9-10 kmpl in city is acceptable, not 5-6kmpl

Same here ..For me it improved over time..bumper to bumper I am getting 8-9, normal traffic 9-12, Highway 13-15 ... anyways it depends on how you drive, these numbers will be changed once oil change is done at 7500km
It is best car, don't go by reviews Test drive yourself. I am so happy with skoda / volkswagen cars..

Servicing acchi hai, response bhi accha hai, behaviour bhi theek hai staff ka, Gaurav ji, but gaadi jab accidental claim par dalte hai, tab time leti h company, gaadi bana k Dene mai . Extended warranty pack zarur kharide nd servicing price bhi acceptable hai.

If you have the Budget to stretch for the 1.5 you can buy it, no problem at all. And with 4 people and luggage 1.5 will perform better in every scenario because more power Torque as well as cylinder deactivation too, to increase your fuel efficiency. So if budget not an issue buy the 1.5. They are giving massive discounts on it as well.
Is the clutch too hard to drive in bumper to bumper traffic?
No It's not. It's a little springy, but you get used to it. It's light overall
Your insights will be very helpful Can we install 360 camera in dealership if available, or aftermarket and will it void warranty.
The thing is i am going to buy a car for my Father, and 360 camera is much needed
Why not xuv700 ax3 or ax5 mt in 17,18 range when that can provide more space, better suspension and ride comfort and bigger car wd panoramic sunroof
Because xuv is poorly engineered car..dinamics of xuv can not match vw/skoda and also you can not compare apples to oranges
I too own taigun top line ...Do you feel gear feels hard to operate and sometimes I feels gear doesn't operate so easily...
Well it also depends on how you shift gears, is clutch properly being pressed or not, Honestly, I haven't had such a problem even once during my experience. Best to get it checked.

I have this car from last two years, engine noise from last five to six months, when I ask it to service centre, they said that the fuel pressure pump is failed ..
Even after changing the fuel pressure pump, the sound is still there. 😖
The noise is very bad and it feels like I am driving a diesel car

First off thank you for sharing your problem, and No, I haven't faced any problems like these
One solution I can suggest is to get DAMPING done in the car, inside out, so that the noise is significantly reduced. Secondly you gotta do that after this noise is completely sorted out by the VW guys. Do not give up, keep on pursuing them until they fix your car completely. Parts like fuel pumps are generally covered under warranty period. And if it's only been two years it must be under warranty. Take it to other VW service centres, escalate your problem in The VW customer relations team, General Manager of Repairs of the specific Service centre. Aapko unke peeche padna padega.

Nope, no rattling sound whatsoever, although three cylinder sound sometimes sounds thrummy in Big gears low speeds. Not a deal breaker though

Manish Brother, that is the point Ok button se hoti hai, ya touchscreen se hoti hai, koi dedicated button nahi Diya Gaya hai iss cheez ke liye. Jo baki iss segment ki cars mai hota hai generally. Ok button se call cut hona is not very intuitive in my opinion.

@@anandkumarofamritkaal But my point is, there is no Dedicated,Mentioned or printed button like in other cars to end call. It should be simple and should be clearly indicated, if such a feature is present. No one would guess, that arrow button is being used for ending calls!

@@ashutoshtiwari0201 It Depends on segment, For compact SUVs, just launched Elevate looks good whether it is safety, comfort, performance or reliability as it use same honda city CVT engine. In sedan I prefer Honda City as you get SV variant within 16 lakh with all necessary features including ADAS. In 18+ lakh Mahindra XUV or scorpio. Definitely not applicable for everyone.
