Just bought this monitor last month, and I’m very happy with the picture quality. Sadly, the audio DAC is really, really bad, and since I’m using this monitor with an Xbox Series S, it’s headphone jack is the only way I can output sound. The high pitch sounds are horrible distorted, no matter the volume level. A great monitor for a computer, but not as great for a console experience thanks to the awful audio output.

Hey, idk if this is too late but if you haven't already figured it out or returned it, you have to open up Nvidia Control Panel or maybe an AMD Graphics Control Software (not sure what AMDs version is called) and you have to look in the settings and select 120 Hz and in a drop down you should see 165 Hz option. Click that and click apply.
So far I like it I'm loving playing PS5 on it the game is very sharp I can see objects from a distance. I also have many studios LED lights and no issues with the light bouncing off them.

I just send it to LG for repair I had a red line in the center of the screen. I have me speakers connected to the Monitor and never had any issues but the monitor speakers are poor quality and might fail you push them to the limit.
Is there any options for aspect ratio control such as keep original, full screen, or 1:1 pixel? This would be relative if you are running a older game in a non-native resolution like 1600x1200. Also how well does this monitor handle non-native resolutions? Thanks!
Are these specs similar to the GL850B? I know the response time is slightly slower on this VA panel but is the technology noticeably different for gaming?
A 1080p 27 inch display is around 91 ppi (pixels per inch), a 1440p 32 inch display is 93 ppi. The 1440p 32" is actually slightly sharper and will typically sit slightly further away so you can quickly scan your display from edge to edge faster when gaming. So if the limit at 1080p is 24 inches, the limit for 1440p is 32 inches before becoming too blurry, at least if you are sitting at a desk with your monitor 2-3 feet away.
No other requirements are needed this is the primary PS5 monitor I play in. You can adjust some of the settings on the monitor if you like to improve the brightness and other features.

I just can't decide over samsung curved odyssey G5 32G55T or this GN650 to my pc that's next to my LG Tv 4k 43inch with a series X, I guess the curved feature from samsung is a plus to me, but looks like gn650 offers better colors and brightness. Tough decision here.

I didn't buy the protection plan. My LG fails on me by displaying a line in the center so I open a ticket on the LG website and they ask me to send it in for repairs, it's been in LG's hands for about 3 weeks. But it covers by a factory warranty.

Lgs website says it doesn't include speakers. So his answer to you didnt help. I bought 2 both the same model number. One has the normal lg logo in back like his, and the other one is the newer lg logo that is red. When he turned the volume up it showed the headphone port volume so I think he has external speakers plugged in. And they would suck because it's just a headphone port. I bought both my monitors 3 days apart from Amazon. I can't confirm this one with the white/silver? LG on back has speakers or not I would have to check when I get home. But my monitor (same model number) with the Red fancy LG on back does NOT have internal speakers.
monitor speakers even on expensive premium monitors are usually where they cut corners and are bad anyways. Saves useless tech that takes up blueprint space within the monitor and adds to the overall cost. Even a cheap 20-50 pair of headphones is typically a better experience than monitor speakers and for 50 dollars you can get some cheap bookshelve speakers and a sub if you don't wanna use headphones to game.

I had issues with PS5 not displaying I had to install the hdmi 2.1 to make it work and I've been playing on this monitor as my main monitor since. Connect the display port on the computer and do a factory reset on the monitor to identify the current connectiknnthis should bring some function back. I had the same issues on a RTX 3080 and make sure tonupdsy video card drivers also.

Do you mean without connecting it to a desktop? If so, then no. Don't waste time looking for a monitor that does that, because there aren't any. Monitors are essentially like TV's, they just display any information you send to them.

Just got this QHD Monitor and I had the FHD Version prior. Question? Does it seem like the FHD version was more crisp to you and more vibrant? The QHD is darker and doesn’t seem as sharp but the 120hz motion and performance feels better on this version. Any tips on how I can make the QHD more crisp. I use it for my ps5.
Your PS5 is probably set to 1080p resolution which is not native to the display like the 1080p monitor. Find a way to output 4k and then have the monitor downscale to 1440p.
I love this monitor are you liking it also or is it going back to the store. I had a issue with it and send it to the manufacture for repairs, the issue was a red line in the center of the screen. They got it repair and back to me in two weeks.
Only a bot would play an fps game with audio coming out of the monitor or TV. Get a headset and turn your settings to have all sounds coming from your headset. No one wants to hear all the sounds coming from your TV.

I would recommend a 27-30 inch tv with either 1080p 120-144hz or 4K 60hz

No need, the current cable should be good, at the moment not many games do not have the capacity of handling this monitor at the moment.

I love this monitor are you liking it also or is it going back to the store. I had a issue with it and send it to the manufacture for repairs, the issue was a red line in the center of the screen. They got it repair and back to me in two weeks.

Only a bot would play an fps game with audio coming out of the monitor or TV. Get a headset and turn your settings to have all sounds coming from your headset. No one wants to hear all the sounds coming from your TV.
