Hey Justin I have 3 of these monitors connected to different game systems. I tweak em quite a bit to try and get the best performance for FPS. Once I did that the monitor only reports proper settings to the game systems and I can enable Super Sampling. I use to get ghosting with the "Faster" response setting and input lag. Once I turned on HDMI compatibility mode that has cleared up. How do you save your setting? I have to redo all of mine every time I turn it on.
Top video man! Thank you :) one thing I’ve struggled with you is I wanted to run my Xbox series x at above 1080 and 120hz.. but it only lets me have it above that if I’m on 60hz. I bought a 2.1 hdmi cable to see if it fixes that issue but it doesn’t. Can anyone help me please?☺️
Does your monitor support what you’re trying to over HDMI? Check the manual for supported resolutions.
Non-Vesa timings have caused a lot of issues…
All sorted thanks guys! I had to turn off that sync setting on the monitor to allow my Xbox to run at those settings.
@@saltyricecake1373 still doesn’t work for me, I cannot get 1440p at 120hz. Even when I turn off those settings
@@connorjohannes8311 can’t do that on console, it’s 1080p 120hz I believe

Yeah, it’s a good idea for gaming.
Any way to turn hdr off? My games are way too dark and can’t touch brightness settings
Exactly
@@theyluvme1660 I found the fix for my computer. The actual monitor was hdr and I found the setting to turn up brightness on the monitor

Any additional settings for the 32GN600-B (The QHD 1440p variant) ??
Not that I'm aware of! Should be pretty similar.
i have the same monitor i think, does it support HDMI 2.1 because in the back it says HDMI 1 and 2, for the ps5 you need 2.1 so both 1440p and 120hz work so i want to know if it is actually working, any idea?

How do you adjust the hz for this monitor? I just bought it from Costco and it’s stuck on 60. I’m on ps5 too btw.
It would be within the PS5 settings not the monitor I believe.
MEEE TOOOO exactly from Costco too
It’s the PS5 not letting you get the frames, not the monitor. I’ve learned the hard way
Say dude the screen connects with the cables to each computer or do you need a specific video card for that ??
Thanks for the review, but one thing I noticed on first day of this monitor that it heats up from the bottom, but when I lowered the frequency to 75 Hz its temperature got normal, so is there anything else that can solve this heat up problem, you haven't talked about it in the video..thanks again
All screens heat up has yours got an active fan ? what monitor do you have il look into it.
The fan on this monitor is in the back its a sorround fan but there isnt a fan in the button that really doesnt matter it doesnt and never will affect anything this is normal as long as you dont keep the monitor on 24/7.
@@MoreMoe202 Thanks, I usually use it 3-4 hrs a day, on the first day I was testing it with different frequencies, and I found this problem when it was set to maximum frequency of 144 Hz and even on 120 Hz and I haven't encountered this problem in my previous monitors, so it gave me a doubt of getting faulty piece that's why I searched for this problem, anyways thanks again both..
you da GOAT bro! thank you my monitor is setup the way I want it!
does the gl850 have speakers in it? can't get the speakers to work. headphone port in back works with lg high def driver. drivers all up to date. gl850 as my main, 4k tv as secondary. tv is hdmi and gl850 is DisplayPort. signal shows on test meters for lg high def driver but no audible audio from monitor speakers. tv sound works with nividia high def driver, no sound at all anywhere when switched to lg ultragear high def driver. am i missing something or is this a faulty monitor and needs to be returned?
No, no speakers in that monitor. Plug in headphones or speakers. Honestly, very few monitors have speakers built in. Adds a ton of bulk and generally sound awful because of the size.
Bro even they have it will be like 2 euro headphones sound better use headset or speakers 🔊
i have that monitor and i really love it cause it has crosshair and it made me really better
Do you have to turn it back on everytime you turn ur monitor off?
How did you get it 120? I've got the same model and it's stuck on 60hz for some reason...?
im having the same issue
me tooo have u figures it out?
turn on freesync, it worked for me on xbox
Turn off HDR on the console and set at 1080p. Once you start playing a game that supports 120fps, your monitor will go black then it should switch to 120fps by itself
It’s the same with my ps5. Series x can play it at 120 no problem
I have this monitor why do you prefer the free sync option over the 1ms motion blur response time?
Which one is better

If I want to have the lowest input delay possible, what should I do? You know, to have better reaction time
Set the monitor's game mode setting to "FPS".
Also, if you're using a controller, use it wired.

Hi Justin i was wondering what HDMI 2.1 Cable do you recomend for a PS5? I bought the LG32GN50T-B amd how do i get 120FPS? 🤔
See my Warzone 120fps video for how to enable 120fps. Almost any cable from the last 5 years is going to be HDMI 1.4 which will do 1080/120hz.
@@JustinReves Thanks a bunch!!!! Now i have to wait after work to switch the settings lol 😂 btw this monitor doesn't come with Audio? Do i have to buy Speakers for it? 🤔
Do I need a 2.1 hdmi cable for my hz setting to change for it to say 120 like yours does?
Depends on your resolution. But more than 1080p requires 2.1 for higher frame rates.
You're a funny guy 🙂. Great vid thanks!

Great settings, Thank you !
Hi Justin. Loved the explanation! So I have an LG 27GL580 and the HDR feature is broken on the PS5. Screen dims and colors are all washed out. Do you know something about this?
