    In this video, I take you guys through the setup of making a T78 Gabry Ponty-style track. I chose this track as it does something different than all the songs currently sitting at the TOP 10 of the Beatport Peak Time Techno Charts. In this video, I teach you everything you need to know to set the song and show you how to move it forward. Every sound used in this tutorial is from the Paradox 5 pack, which you can find on my sound design website.
    All the best, family.

    Ive been using rave generator for the past year now on mac. At the beginning it was a pain to install(dont ask me why i forgot xd), but now the only problem i have with it is that sometimes i have to reload the set(ableton) because it shuts off for some reason. The solution for this I got from one of your videos where I just convert the sound I created to audio by resampling and basta. Loved the video as always, keep it up (ty btw for the offbeat bass explanation for this fellow try hard)

    What you said about the referencing thing. Do you think it can be helpful to reference for newer producers to learn how to essentially mimick others and gain skills to make our own style eventually ?

    • @ZenWorld
      @ZenWorld  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah, of course, but the problem is when you compare and never evolve from it. Just keep it in check my dude.

    Imo this 'genre' is one of the worst that rised in the last years... Not sure if others agree with me, but the faster the bpm, the more you can get away with mixdown errors. And the less creative you need to be. Not to mention all the tracks sound like you pushed the pitch fader on your cdj to the max. Hope it will fade out soon.

      Big hard techno fan and I totally agree. This big room style is just too fast w no substance and over reliance on trends like those stabs or psybass drops. Feels like a parody of the tracks coming out just 4 or 5 yrs ago.
      Thankfully I think hardgroove is slowly catching and is going to be the next trend, I find it a much more interesting genre.
