I decided to make a brand new vocal pack for my followers, and as always, I want to provide you guys with a bunch of cool tricks to use with them. In This video, I go over professional producers' top vocal production techniques to make their tracks shine, including tricks used by Mau P Vintage Culture, Noizu, Westend, Ranger Trucco, and many more.
For example Timestretching, Glitches, and Layering tricks can be used to make your vocals go from sounding too RAW, TO SOUNDING more exciting!

Hey Zen, one workaround for the vocal buildup is actually by utilizing the simpler. In Classic mode, enable loop, disable snap and automate the length parameter.
For that riser effect I use Arpeggiator. Just set the rate to free and automate 😊

To get the vocal windown in sampler, make sure the sample is looping in one direction. Then go to the modulation tab and turn on the AUX source. Adjust the envelope so it is a long attack. At the bottom are two parameters that are off. Change one to the loop length and one to pitch. Adjust the values to create the windown or windup. Sample length will alter how drastic an attack and modulation values you will need.

7:40 - The issue of not being able to automate the loop markers in simpler can be solved by using a newer version of simpler. At the moment, I don´t remember, when the "new simpler" was introduced. You can look that up in ableton release notes. The "newer simpler" has 3 Modes: Classic, One shot and Slice. With the newer simpler, loop markes can be automated easily.
Another workaround for the vocal buildup would is to use an arpeggiator in free mode. Hit one long note in the piano roll and then shorten the time on the arpeggiator. If that makes sense.
