The kicking meter isn’t supposed to be completely filled. If you get it in the red little tip at the top then you shank it. You have to stop right before it’s filled.
Bro! I’ve been playing Dynasty, and the amount of blown coverage my team has on the fly route, to your point is INSANE. Plus tackling mechanics. Plus DROPPED PASSES!!! Plus trying to click on defenders in pursuit (ie. trying to click on a D-lineman to get the sack, but instead it clicks on a cornerback in coverage). Great video!

I definitely feel the tackling problem cause I legit drilled a qb right as soon as he got off the mesh on a play action and it was like my guy just bounced off him and the qb’s body didn’t even react to being hit as if the animation of the mesh saved him from being tackled

Definitely does NOT break the game. The A gap pressure works against the AI only if you get this exact match up AND it doesn’t decide to call a HB screen or crossing pattern. AI gets as many big plays as it takes sacks against this scheme because the screen and middle of the field is wide open.
You can't use other teams' playbooks on H2H; they did that intentionally to prevent people from running an Army option with that Alabama roster. That would be OP.

You can use penn with georgia playbook in dynasty bro Go to coach Scheme & playbook Top 2 are scheme Bottom 2 are off and def playbook You can change them to whatever your liking Not sure how that would work in a head to head tho
This game is mad buggy. I played a game last night on dynasty 15 minute quarters just to get XP on coach. Final score was 360-0... When the game ended it showed 254-0 and then when i got out of the game to the screen it showed I only won 104-0 and took away almost all the stats that i ran up... Lesson learned and i hope no one else tries to farm XP this way.
while that is stupid it's funny the game doesn't log the actual results. That is very buggy. I wouldn't ever have this problem but i swear if the game doesn't accurately log a normal score for my game(s) I'm going to be pissed off.
The issues I've had are random drone view glitch in between quarters(3 times), and I constantly have to change the settings in game for the kicking meter in game no matter how many times I change it before the game( I like tap and tap not tap and hold).

The reason it has so and so "problems" is because thats how NCAA always has been only pressing square. There used to be no hitsticks and all that, its very nice mixup of just being very heavy offensive games similar to college football I tend to like it. Keep the super defensive stuff to Madden.
Idk I think it’s nearly unplayable some games. It’s completely RNG and takes no skill really at all. It’s not fun if you make the correct defensive adjustment every play but since the game has terrible tackling angles, broken tackles, unrealistic animations you get burned. It’s honestly just whoever has ball last will win cause nobody can play defense against anyone who’s decent. You can make a game that is offensive favored and still your players know how to tackle. No college player at a d1 level is running through an entire team that doesn’t even realize he is there on a consistent basis like in this game.
#2 on Georgia defense has intercepted my passes multiple times in every game I’ve played against Georgia. He better have 30 interceptions this season in the real world.

I think this game is based on big play potential, so maybe the defense pursuit angles are terrible on purpose. I also had a problem when picking a play on defense like normal but after its like the offense actually was in a hurry up offense so my defensive play will not register and i have to pick the play again through the audible screen of the previous formation i was in before. Just frustrating when it happens in cruial moments

it's usual on default set to auto flip defensive plays. But you can turn that off and manually flip it. That's in the settings. I'm not sure offhand how to do it exactly but i know I did do it.
I think they purposely made tackling like that. In real life CFB is a very high scoring sport. They probably wanted to make that realistic to the game as well, even though Ik it’s annoying.
I remember the developer saying, “We made tackling angles super important”. I’m kinda glad it isn’t like Madden where you can take a terrible angle and just hit square or X and tackle somebody 5-ft away

I wanna pitch individual topics my school is good at to a recruit and talk down schools that they like higher than me in comparison. NCAA Football 12's recruiting was perfect. They could improvise that system allowing some automation for anyone who thinks it was too tedious but don't dumb the entire system down because of a few whiners who just wanna get back on the sticks and playing the game. Those that don't take time recruiting shouldn't have good results recruiting.
1:58 is not hitting the ball perfectly. If you go into the red you overkick it and that's when you can shank it or have inaccurate kicks/punts. You stop it before it gets to red. I'm not saying you don't know this but the example you show in your video shows that and it's misleading to viewers to talk like that was a "perfect kick"
I get it, it’s CFB so everyone is excited. But this gameplay wise is worse than any madden I’ve ever played tbh. There is no skill gap at all. It’s just whoever ends with the ball or gets a lucky animation will win. Defense is so broken it’s almost unplayable. Dudes that you know are awful will get bailed out by the game consistently. Dumb shit will happen every possession whether it’s a tipped ball caught and ran for a 80 yard td or someone running a drag route, breaking 3 tackles and everyone takes a terrible pursuit angle and dude scores a 50 yard td. Offline is fun but online is a terrible game, worse than any madden and that’s saying something .
Who the crap was playing that offense? He was calling the wrong plays, targeting the wrong receivers and didn't audible once once the linebackers was showing crashing down. He could have adjusted to max protect at least. Very first play I would have called max protect and thrown it to my guy on the right. The first interception had five defenders around that wrong lol

No custom play book is complete bs. Takes the strategy away and is way less fun!! I get what ea is trying to do but that is a game breaker for me.

D pad right and down on the right stick to blitz all linebackers. I didn't blitz them on the interception plays

I've experienced some plays just don't work properly like triple option not being an rpo but rather a qb run the diy pitch needs to be fixed a little the tackling and angles are bad saw it before the game came out
IS IT? a good foundation? I mean it seems like they focus too much on dumb shit like visuals and presentation and the pagentry and less on the gameplay. I dont care if it had nike, underarmour, adidas, and reebok so the teams look identical to real life and sweat glistening off their brows if they can't make a tackle. Don't get me wrong I'm glad College Football series is back but i think College Football 27, 28, 29 hopefully is leagues better than 25 is. And I hope we get indepth recruiting changes because this halfway between NCAA Football 12/13 and NCAA Football 14 bullcrap is NOT IT. I wanna pitch individual topics my school is good at to a recruit and talk down schools that they like higher than me in comparison. NCAA Football 12's recruiting was perfect. They could improvise that system allowing some automation for anyone who thinks it was too tedious but don't dumb the entire system down because of a few whiners who just wanna get back on the sticks and playing the game. Those that don't take time recruiting shouldn't have good results recruiting.

1:58 is not hitting the ball perfectly. If you go into the red you overkick it and that's when you can shank it or have inaccurate kicks/punts. You stop it before it gets to red.
I'm not saying you don't know this but the example you show in your video shows that and it's misleading to viewers to talk like that was a "perfect kick"
I get it, it’s CFB so everyone is excited. But this gameplay wise is worse than any madden I’ve ever played tbh. There is no skill gap at all. It’s just whoever ends with the ball or gets a lucky animation will win. Defense is so broken it’s almost unplayable. Dudes that you know are awful will get bailed out by the game consistently. Dumb shit will happen every possession whether it’s a tipped ball caught and ran for a 80 yard td or someone running a drag route, breaking 3 tackles and everyone takes a terrible pursuit angle and dude scores a 50 yard td. Offline is fun but online is a terrible game, worse than any madden and that’s saying something .

Who the crap was playing that offense? He was calling the wrong plays, targeting the wrong receivers and didn't audible once once the linebackers was showing crashing down. He could have adjusted to max protect at least. Very first play I would have called max protect and thrown it to my guy on the right. The first interception had five defenders around that wrong lol
