Cover 3 shell is great to keep the box loaded. Especially if you aren’t using a 3-4 or 4-3 defense, you’re gonna want a safety in the box every play. You can always manually hot route zones and swap that safety into a flat or hook if needed

After watching the video, I ended up dominating my opponent in my playoff dynasty, holding them to under 150 total yards and forcing 4 turnovers
Re: formations. If you're playing competitive online I absolutely agree. If you're playing online dynasty, however, mixing up formation spreads out the toll on wear n tear and gets more players good snaps.

I run outside to push them inside to all my players and you can tell if it’s a sweep or a handoff by the running back if he stays he’s getting the inside zone but if he runs outside to block it’s a sweep
Go to setting and do a delay switch small should be fine then you have time when switching to move the stick to the direction you need to keep the defender going.
During the part, you explained long yardage passing defense by setting the curl flats and hooks to the according yardage, is there a preset you’d like to go with in line defensive situations?

Check your Settings! Make sure you don't have it disabled. Then, go into practice mode on Defense vs a pass play. Make sure you're usering a Defender who's in a Coverage assignment!
How are you switching back and forth from a cover 2 shell to a cover 3 shell? Once I switch to cover 3 shell it doesn’t let me revert back to 2 like you’re doing

Am I losing pressure though? Does it affect my run defense? Also, with your 3rd and long segment, what about the wide open flat? I feel like open space in this game is OP and getting that 1st down isn't too difficult with space. Lastly, no speed adjustments for CB coverage? Yes it can mess up formations with a shell, but I feel like the speed of some slot and outside receivers is too much to not use the speed adjustment

you always say dont user linemen, in MUT last year in just half the season i had 70+ user ints with Lawrence Taylor usering him as LE. Bubbles, Texas, short cross, deep cross, 35 yard corner routes ..... didnt matter, once i figured out their playstyle nobody ever expected the route that looked open to get undercut by the LE...... obviously i dont mean every play tho. The more the thousands of ppl who watch the videos tell you dont do it, the more it helps ppl like us. With that said, great video.
For zone drops if its 4th and 5-10 would you leave on default, defend sticks, or set drops to where marker is? This is where i always mess up... do fine on the 3rd and 4th and 15+
There is no option for me on ps5 to pre snap change my look. I can only man adjust after snap. I don't know how you are getting this option pre play. It is not available to me pre play.
I guess it looks like the game wants me to get gashed playing as a LB on Road to Glory. It only lets you make adjustments pre-snap. It sucks that all these defense tutorial videos are only for when you control the whole defense 😩😩
There is not enough time for all these adjustments between plays… this game is also busted in coverage… a 82 speed receiver should not burn my 96 speed DB in man coverage
One thing u didn’t cover is the short pass. I played a guy earlier who basically throws within a few seconds every time. Didn’t throw one pass over 10 yards the whole game but I couldn’t stop it. He was mainly in 4 and 5 WR sets. What do you suggest in that scenario?

9/10 times id say he's using inside zone. The blocking on that play is elite for some reason
