I am not able to give any significant insight about the psychology of such a person. I am only interested in this because you said she is a church girl. I have been in the church for a long time now to know that many people who claim to be Christians are not really Christians. They are Christians in name only (CINO). But I also know that the church is a place for broken imperfect people. So, I expect to see some broken people in the church. But the difference between a broken person who is truly a Christian and a CINO is that over a long period of time, there'd be significant growth in the genuine Christian. This will be seen in their hatred of sin and love for that which pleases God demonstrated in their actions not only when they are in church.
