Watching Kroak smash the grave guard was a nice change of pace. I find the non meta builds to be more interesting. I'd love to see a vampire counts bounty of "Just a count: win a game without any lore of vampire spells in your army" to see what non meta builds the counts could play.
No way you can play Counts successfully in a competitive environment without Invocation of Nehek

@@aidanfurst8512 The point of bounties is to see off-meta units, not gimp yourself by not bringing something essential to your race's gameplay. It'd be like suggesting a Gnoblar only challenge for Ogre Kingdoms.

Everyone is talking about Kroak and Nakai but look at those Spearus killcounts. 200+ kills on 4/5 spear infantry units is insane, Counts didn't have much to trade into them other than the pizza'd graveguard.

@@Vahkitauti They just aren't worth it anymore. Aren't tanky enough to survive being blobbed, Troglodons outpace them with a range advantage and dread saurs, as infrequent as they are, fit the bill for big monster that does a lot of damage. Carnos used to be the dedicated monster killer, but they don't have a great matchup against a lot of newer big monsters, even before 3 came out with some of the dlc like tomb kings and etc.
The RoR version has vanguard and stalk which can maybe make it a surprise pick, but thats the only variant I can think worth taking.
Kroq Gar is okay, but no where near as good as he used to be.
Lord Khrakk, ruler of the settlement the Tower of Khrakk, the most khrakked lord, here to khrakk skulls and do khrakk, and he's all out of khrakk.
When I saw the salamander shots coming in from the left at 9:56, I did a double take thinking they were hellstorm rocket batteries. WHO GAVE THE LIZARDS HELLSTORMS?!

Its just a real shame that temple gaurd are super unwheling and get thrashed by a majority of other units in the game despite their awesome looks and decent stats. Hoping for a Lizardmen Tlc soon

Shielded Saurus leave me scratching my head. Just use the regular spear variant? Counts don't have any real missile threat. I realize they have a little more MD, but is it worth the uptick in cost?
Vs units that already Hit like a wet noodle (Zombies and regular skelettons) it negates almost all incoming dmg i guess, which makes it worth it in my opinion in this matchup

Vampire lords and heroes are just ridiculous. In campaign I had them kill Malus Darkblade fast with the help of buff items and debuff spells.
man I miss playing this game....ever since the new chaos dwarf expansion came out I can't play the game on my SSD which means I have to on my HDD which means 10 minute load times between battles or just loading into the game itself, and 50% of those crash because they take too long to load.....
The Umbral Tide would've gone brazy here

Seems funny to me, how Slann are the oldest and generally greatest casters in the setting, but everyone else gets access to similar casting ability plus flying mounts that turn them into melee blenders and even more effective casters. Everything in MP can be balanced by cost, but geez.
