At first I was not having fun in Kislev campaign..but once you get hang of it. Very hard/very hard. It's fun and challenging. So many enemies, so little time. They have some great items that are just stacking buffs and debuffs + healing from that Fire Brazier weapon - every of my armies has lord+2 patriarchs+ice witch and that quartet is just sometimes overpowering whole armies on their own. DLC will be making them even better!
It is eternally frustrating watching the big monster faction being consistently unable to win big monster fights.
It would be more frustrating if dreadsaurian won 1v3, being isolated and trapped amongst enemy's infantry...

@@argenerarion oh undoubtedly, but it's more a commentary about the fact that this faction is all about big lizard monsters and you don't really see many of them. A lot of them just aren't cost effective or require so much micromanagement that you can't make back their cost.
@@laytonstainbrook1760 I think one way to look at it is that the lizard infantry might just be too good. I always dread fighting lizards because they don’t have any obvious weaknesses to me
@@rellek4053 I feel like they lizards are fairly predictable in multiplayer which is their biggest downfall. They have some good units but a lot of their other ones just aren't really viable. If you can counter their good units, most of the rest of their forces just can't pull the weight. They also can struggle with decent ranged units. They don't have anything with lots of ranged firepower, they don't have summons, and they lack cheap effective units to take things out. Feral Cold ones rampage, terradon riders kill things too slowly and end up getting countered, and everything else ends up costing too much. Their short ranged firepower also ironically makes them bad at taking down large targets, because their best anti large tools are single entities that can get ranged down or screened out too easily.

Bear has phys resist as well which helps bigggg time. Basically brings dreadsaurian to 600 weapon strength.

Yes, if Lzm player had brought some healing or the riders to shut down the chariot support, I think that wouldve turned the tide in their favor.

I wouldn't call any of Kislev's units useless or even bad... closest maybe the Ice Guard with swords but it has niche uses.
I think one of their big problems is that all their infantry is priced for their full hybrid potential: like Armored Kossars being 650 assumes they're going to have time and opportunities to shoot most of their pistol ammo before/after squaring up in melee. When you play a build that's heavy on sleds or something, the infantry you use mostly to hold isn't going to get its shooting value.
I'd like to see more players try mass gun/bow Kislev, kind of like how people play Dwarfs. With their mobility and stats you'd think it'd be viable. (I think Streltsi are still bugged in melee though)
Oh damn, I remeber that sewries. It was airing on the local TV during my school years so I watched it from time to time.
I would cut 50gold from all cossars, both normal and armored ones. The problem with Kislev is that those hybrid units can be good, but not on the very front line. Kossar suck if they have only 1-2 volleys before close combat. Tzar guards can take first line role and while they are strong, you do not want to take them in every MU. The problem may disappear after DLC with some other infantry to fill roster.

Pronunciation criticism: brazier is pronounced like BRAY-zee-er. A brassiere, pronounced bruh-ZEER (what you said) is a fancy bra that's not the sort of thing that a patriarch is going to bring to battle. Or maybe he would, I'm not here to judge.
Well I am here to judge pronunciation apparently, but not fashion choices.
A few people have pointed this out. The first time I heard him say it, I thought, "that's... not how you pronounce brazier." I've gotten to the point where I chuckle and actually prefer he call it the brassiere, lol.
Wow you made it look so easy vs. Lizardmen. As a Kislev enjoyer myself the LZM have always been a real pain in the neck, Dwarves too.

The dreadsaurian was not used correctly, one of the reasons is so strong is in monster match up is because of the poison, having the Walmart version puts it at a disadvantage. Also, should've brought it with double rev crystals for support.

As a Bretonnia player I see Kislev as a unholy nightmare, I feel like I can't do anything to the bear cav. They just cut through all my Knights like they are nothing.
Why didn't you bring the patriarch's buffing item? Giving that +5 MA and +5 MD to the character squad for 200 gold on top of the healing and vigor refresh seems worth it to me
Looks like Aero prepared for Kossar spam and was surprised by a lot of single entities. The feral dread saurian is also pretty bad; you're almost always better off with the Shredder. Go big or go home!

Yeah, much better than one would expect at a glance. It has a sharp satirical edge to it, and some of the episodes have powerful pathos.
And of course, the puppetry is some of the best I've ever seen.

The vanilla dreadsaurian is really bad the one with the hauda is sooo much better like if you commit to such an investment you can pay this little extra
The only reason kislev is low tier is same reason why high elves used to be low tier; their units are extremely effective but the value of each unit is inflated. Empire vs kislev is a great example of this since everything the empire brings can't win 1v1 with kislevites, but will always value trade well since empire is so cheap. I would personally nerf bears hp (or buff demigryph hp), then make everything slightly cheaper

It's just sad watching a dread saurian unable to do any damage to anything that was surrounding it like I knew it was dead on surrounding but still it didn't even kill or hurt 1 of the things chasing it didn't even manage to finish the chaff that locked it down that unit just doesn't do justice to what is the ultimate apex of the old world

When I saw the player practically throw the dreadsaurian into the meatgrinder I kind of just lost interest in the battle, skipped near the end and unsurprisingly saw kislev win. Sad.

I hate saurus. I hate them. I hate their lizard faces. I hate their clubs. I hate their sticks. I hate when the sticks are next to the clubs and I hate when the clubs are next to the sticks. I hate that Kroq-gar pulls 2280 of them out of his scaly asshole and then descends on me like a Vogon at a poetry convention.
I hate the Saurus auto-resolve meter. I hate it because it lies to me. It says I have a 50-50 chance of victory. This is patently false, because I have twenty units of skeletons who are held together with prit stik and prayer. I do not have twenty units of eight foot tall geckos constructed out of pectoral muscles and galvanised coffin nails.
I hate that they shout bok at me. Bok is the Bristol Orienteering Klub, which is completely irrelevant to a battle in Lustria and should not be shouted repeatedly while eating a rank of tier one infantry like buffalo wings.
I hate their morale. I hate that surrounding them simply prompts one of them to pull out a US general's helmet so he can make a speech about 'now we can attack in any direction'. I hate that their reaction to a devastating rear attack is to become somewhat peeved. I have looked a Saurus in his smug scaly face as an encirclement that would shatter any other early game infantry closed in.
He went from :I to >:I , killed an extra two hundred skeletons because I had foolishly allowed all four sides of the Saurus unit to fight at once and then swallowed my Liche Priest like a slim jim.
I have resolved to shoot every Saurus dead. Every Saurus. All of the Saurmen and the Saurdren too. I hate them. I no longer see battlefields because they're covered by a thick blanket of arrow trails. I hate that it barely stops them. I hate that they keep coming while shouting about the Bristol orienteering klub, or the Bank of Oklahoma or the 1983 Bok asteroid. I hate that they made me google bok so I could write down ways in which I hate things that have it as a name. Bok is also a lunar crater and a martian crater. It is also a village in Iran. The IATA code for Brookings Airport is Bok. I will never go there because it would give me palpitations.
I hate that Kroq Gar is friends with the Rare Pepe next door, who also declares war once I've shot Kroq Gar unconscious for the tenth time. He also has Saurus only these ones are blue. Somehow this is worse.
I hate that there are another ten Lizard factions. I hate that they will be in end game by the time I reach them. I hate that while I was writing this Kroq Gar picked up Kalida and smoked her like a cigar.
I hate Saurus.
They need to add an ability for giant monsters where they turn around very fast and knock down enemies around them. Watching them derp around is so lame

there was no kaiju fight at all.... the dino player kept on just trying 2 run from the 3-4 single entities who ganged up on the dread saurian, he completely wasted it and it had no chance to pay off at all. if he just would have let the dread saurian stay in combat at least it would have gained some value 4 him in the match. pretty disappointing and weak performance generally. sorry, but boring game... as so often i have 2 admit 4 tw games unfortunately...
