    I just want to say I thank you for doing day in the life or any informational videos. Not to make it about color but I am a black woman looking to start medical coding and to find another black woman who is doing it is of great benefit and I am so happy to see you do what you do. You are greatly appreciated.

      I'm so glad to hear that you find the videos helpful! Representation matters, and it's great to find someone of similar background in a field you're interested in. Seeing others who share your background can be incredibly motivating. It was the same for me for Manual QA. Thank you for this comment. I appreciate your kind words. ♥

    Sis, I just came across your channel. I'm a profee coder, and I feel you with having to defend your coding! When I started coding, I was not prepared for that. I, too, had to walk away from an employer for the same reason 😢. I'm so thankful for where I'm at now (working from home). Still coding and thriving. Congratulations 🎉 on your career pivot and knowing your worth and sticking to your ethics 👏🏾. Prayers & Blessings for much success to you.😊

    I just found your channel after passing my CPC certification exam. I initially tried to become a coder through Penn Foster back in 2007. That was a nightmare. I already had knowledge of A&P, medical terminology and pharmacology from my attempt to become an RN back in 1999. Well..after several years and failed semesters, I gave up on that dream and just went back to a desk job. But before I did, I tried switching my major to coding. Needless to say, I never was able to get it started. So, now I'm finally a CPC-A. Not sure if I'll eventually finish the Practicode. Yes. I took my course directly with the AAPC. But I'm not looking to maybe find work in revenue cycle management or go back to something familiar as a consultant in health insurance. This information helps me to decide if I really have the patience for this at 52 yrs old.

    Thanks Laquita! I’m about to sit for the CBCS certification exam. Im advanced at billing due to my insurance background and will focus more on that side. My son was diagnosed with Autism at 3yo. It was scary, but having him in my life has made me a better human. God hand selected you for an assignment with your daughter. He built you for this and I can’t wait for you to get a revelation of that. Blessings to you and yours 💙💙

    I thought about quality assurance software testing. Do you have to know any programming language? I’m pretty tech savvy, do not know if medical coding is for me after viewing several channels on RUclips.

    • @Ms.Laquita
      @Ms.Laquita  Год назад +3

      Nope, you don't have to know a programming language to be a Manual QA Tester. The earning potential is amazing and less brain work than medical coding. I'm 55% completed with my course. Hitting the market strong 1st quarter of 2024. Let me know if you decide to pursue QA. Keep me posted on your journey.
