@@waynedexter ​​⁠ people’s understanding of talent is a social construct. The thoughts and emotions surrounding ability are engrained in us as children. That’s why there’s so much nationalism in the world. Countries with overlapping styles of conditioning (like the us and the uk) particularly pride one another’s strengths, but we are all partially blind to the genius right outside our comprehension. Some eastern music is absolutely MIND BLOWING and most westerners would call it terrible, because it’s outside our comprehension. In my experience, it’s easier to break away from our perspective than one might imagine with baby steps and patience. I hope this didn’t come across judgmental. I just wanted to share something that changed my life. Good luck m8 ❤️

@@obrey__ I think you misunderstood where I was coming from. The initial comment said Gondwana knows where all the young talented people live. I was begging to differ with this statement because 90 percent of Gondwana’s artists are from The UK. I don’t subscribe to nationalism, especially not when it comes to art.
