@@grego4835 The peak hours are usually weekends. The most fuss free way in my opinion is to use the KTM train shuttle service where the is a dedicated queue for train passengers. However you will likely need to buy tickets in advance as they are popular and the ticketing website is not the easiest to navigate
We were in Singapore back in January, this video brought back some lovely memories. We stayed in the Village Hotel Bugis right opposite the 711! And used the exact same route to go over to Johor Bahru for a short trip.
Your vlog is so informative. Our group is travelling to SG in the next few months and I was a bit anxious on pushing to cross Johor for a day trip while we stay on SG for 5 days because of the Immigration process and all that stuff. Seems all the questions I have in mind were answered with this vlog. Thanks! To more travel vlogs! 💪👏👏🙏🙏🌞🌞🤗
Normally luggage can be kept at luggage bay near the back wheel. Since there are not many passengers the driver didn't stop you from boarding(to save time). Congratulations, you just crossed the Straits of Johor which is connected to the Straits of Malacca. Prices are one third of Singapore.
There's no "No Man's Land" as the Causeway is divided equally between Singapore and Malaysian territories. So technically, it does not have a No Man's Land there.
Hat's off to you .... thank you for showing us traveling is easy as well as difficult.... njoying with managing financial situation great job...😅 you both are smart then I thought....❤
Thanks for the video. I am going on business trip next friday and we are flying from Amsterdam to singapore and the by car to maleisie. I now know how long the trip Will be
Hello, I like your border crossing from Singapore to Malaysia just like Canada, America border crossing from a bus. The Malaysian hotel is so beautiful
You guys are a super cute couple. I love the simplicity and humbleness that I see in your videos. I am in Vancouver Canada but if you ever make it here, please give me a shout!
Hello thank you so much for this informative video especially for me who’s travelling next week with my parents. Can you plz share about the time the bus leave the queen street bus terminal and how many hours it takes to reach Johor immigration. If you can share best time to leave so as to avoid the traffic jam 😄. Much thanks.
U guys tried Char koey thiaw in another posting. That was wet char koey thiaw. There is also dry char koey thiaw. Have this dish with prawns, cockels & Chinese pork sausage ( commonly known as 'lapcheong' ) This dish is sold by Chinese hawker since it contains pork. Malay hawker will not sell this dish. This is one of Malaysia's top hawker food dish. Penang has the best !
Hi Guys... It's fun watching your videos. Usually I'll watch your videos within an hour you upload. But today I am little late. Keep rocking guys. Have a Safe Travel ❤❤
We crossed border using the bus once where similarly we had to get our things, walk to the immigration and WALK OVER to the border, that was so cool when we first did it. We also did it on your way back but that time we had to change vehicles as we took a personal vehicle to the border, crossed the other side and waited for a bus to take us to the nearest city. The whole experience was very intriguing for us and we really loved it. Hope you guys enjoy your trip through the indochina peninsula. We really wanted to visit Laos and see some of the amazing waterfalls and Ban Gioc Falls of Vietnam. You guys will LOVE the Ankor Wat, it is truly something nice but make sure you go early as it gets very hot AND its gets VERY crowded as well. Hope you guys enjoy Thailand as well. Love & respect from Bangladesh.
Sad to see you leave Singapore. Goodbye. Happy to see you cross Malaysia Checkpoint so easily. Last month on 1 June ( long weekend) it took me 5 hours to cross to Johor by car. Now that you made it to Malaysia..enjoy the beautiful vibrant land.. do visit Penang and Langkawi..they are one of the top places to explore in Malaysia.
Recommend taking a ferry to Langkawi from Penang & rent a self drive car while in Langkawi to explore places. Its pretty cheap to rent a car in Langkawi.
Be careful of travelling between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok some night buses have kids hiding in them that go through people's bags while you sleep. Super excited for upcoming travels though! :)
At the very least between Bangkok and Surat Thani region, not sure how far south they go but I'd still be careful. I think Dan and Leanne generally travel during the day so they should be fine. :)
This video is not only useful but also entertaining! How long did it take for your guys to pass through the Singapore immigration and the JB immigration? I’ve read about it online and lots of people say that it will cost you 3 to 4 hours. Because of that, I consider to book the border taxi hence it only take 2 hours (immigration process included) from SG to JB but the price is pretty expensive, around 80 SGD (from online source)…
You didnt go to universal studios in singapore ??!! 😖 You guys definitely need to visit singapore again . A lot of things have been left unexplored. Maybe when you have 1M+ subscribers and have a bigger budget.
ROFWL I know exactly how you feel I’m chilling cause I can and other people are doing their daily routine that is so true feels like your cheating life but hey it is what it is my fellow buddymooners🤷♀️😋😂😂

Did you take a visa to go to Malaysia from Singapore?
Be careful of travelling between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok some night buses have kids hiding in them that go through people's bags while you sleep. Super excited for upcoming travels though! :)
What ? I never heard its happening Malaysia.
I dont think it happens in Kuala Lumpur or even in Malaysia. Not too sure about Bangkok, though?

No, the process was very simple and quick, we went through both borders in under an hour😁 we highly recommend taking the bus👍
Don't try to do the border crossing on a Saturday or Sunday, you might be stuck for hours. Also peak time morning and evening hours are always hectic.
That is a good idea to stay in Johor Bahru and travel to Singapore daily. Can save some money on hotels in Singapore.
It's not worth the hassle..
Lovely

The strip of water between Singapore and Malaysia is called the "Causeway." 🤣
No, the causeway is called the causeway because it's a causeway. The "strip of water" is called the Johor Strait or Straits of Johor.
