Question! I bought a used dewalt hand help bandsaw I need to buy a band blade for it. My question is when it doesn’t have a blade/band on it do both wheels spin when you push the button? Or is the front wheel powered by the back wheel when in use ? Thanks. I ask cause my front wheel dosent spin the back one near the trigger does when I hit the trigger

It's way more quiet than a grinder, it throws no sparks in the shop, the cut is very clean, straight, and rectangular, the chips fall straight down and don't fly anywhere across the shop. You will hardly find a professional metal workshop where is no band saw.

@@drucker03 Exactly. I worked in a metal workshop a few years ago and we had, I think, about 6 portable bandsaws. Extreamly useful and safer to use.
