    You cut through 3/8 steel like wood! 👍🏽That’s very impressive! I’m convinced and buying one!

    Thanks for the video! Good demonstration. Everyone always says they don't have a need for a bandsaw until they buy one. Tbh, I bought mine cause I got a great deal on it, now I use it more than my recip saw. It's just more efficient.

    • @Tonyplat98
      @Tonyplat98 2 года назад

      what's more efficient the motor or the way the tool cuts? I'm asking cause I don't really see how this can replace my recip or jigsaw.

    • @submissions72
      @submissions72 2 года назад +2

      @@Tonyplat98 the recip saw cuts are sometimes rough because your holding it with your hand. The bandsaw you can mount or vertically stabilize it and get smoother cuts. If I'm cutting pipes it's way better.

    • @Tonyplat98
      @Tonyplat98 2 года назад

      @@submissions72 makes sense but you can use a jigsaw as well not recip for more precise cuts though I can see how the bend saw is better for pipes.

    • @submissions72
      @submissions72 2 года назад

      @@Tonyplat98 true, jigsaw will be a bit slower I use it more for precise cuts. But it will do the job as well.

    Nice one handed action cut @ 5:43 pivoting off your hip ; tool seems easy to control even though it was wavering a bit at initial bite in. thanks for sharing.

      Thanks, it’s definitely fun to use, I prefer it over a chop saw or sawzall.

    Thanks for the review, thinking this might work but not sure. Considering making banjo necks out of one piece hardwood which is uncommon but maybe less likely to warp. I would need to feed through this saw a piece 40 inchess long, 4 inch in height and width. It's a long cut and leaves only a inch of clearance. Any reply appreciated,

    The new bandsaw with the double safety switch that you have to keep two hands on a saw at all times it's not for the pro

      I have the smaller one and now I really want the big one. I wish I had got the big one right from the start. You can always cut small stuff with the big one, but you can't cut big stuff with the little one, which is what I have learned.

      It’s good to have both, I’d get one for now whichever one is on sale and later buy the other one when it has a good deal. That’s what I had to do and I’m finally getting the big one since it’s on sale for $263 at a store near me
