They were nice Granada's it is a 2.8i S... They were more sporty than a luxurious Ghia. The S had lovely recaro seats and stiffer suspension. Super rare now very very collectable indeed!
This is a 2.8iS,not the usual 2.8i Ghia,or Ghia X model.Proper name is 2.8 injection special,came with manual box,auto optional,3 louvered grille,15'' TRX pearlecent white(silver ish) alloys,colour coded bumpers,de chromed trim etc.Super rare Granada,find one if you can!
I was gonna say the same thing. This drama was set in the 1980s, the 1995 registered Rover 620 shouldn't be there unless certain spec had time travelling capability in which case something could've been done before the fate of British Leyland, or MG Rover in later years...
@AdeV2 These clips are from series 2 of Ashes to Ashes which was set in 1982. Only inaccuracy I see with the Granada is the red ford badge on the bootlid
Holy balls, the N reg Rover was a major goof up...
Love the Granny though. I think it's a cool car.

@stevealexR1 - It's also a facelift (not introduced until 1982, X-reg)
look at the smoke from Transit exhaust pipe
@leadedstar I think that's what's known in the trade as "a bloody cockup".
SEMPRE UNA GRAN BELLA MACCHINA👍👍

There's also the somewhat larger inaccuracy of the 1996 Rover 600 appearing at 47 seconds in.
that as well
Plate is wrong though. Pretty sure there was never a v reg 2.8i. Probably x or y was the start.
FOrd Granadas were awesome cars in billions of ways and no way should people who own them sell the car they are collectors items now.
@leadedstar maybe it is an anachronism to make it feel more like a dream
i wisd ID had green 2.8
It's no quattro
I've got a 2.8is auto estate,was left to me by my Dad(rip).

www.darrenwoolway.co.uk/2017/05/19/mkii-granada-sport-classic-ford-magazine/ just googled. Man. That's super rare
