Strength wise nothing better, I should know, my evoque at two weeks old saved our lives, that was according to the ambulance crew.

Not taking anything away from the Defender here, but, notice on the transporter the tag axle(second wheel from the front is down, that causes a sew saw in front of the tag and decreases traction on the drive axle(third wheel from the front). The tag can be manually lifted producing mor traction on the drive axle. Also the drive axle is spinning because the transport driver is in gear and drive forward.
    Still impressive

The LORRIES wheels were spinning so the defender was.probably there to just aid it about because I mean I'm sure a defender could pull that amount of weight if the ground wasnt covered in ice but in this case I think it's just there to aid the truck, not to do the trucks job for it.

I see you are dumb this is a defender without offroad tires on snow ❄️ pulling a truck that literarily has no more grip if you see the overspin of the tires no ther SUV could do at as Landover have the best 4wd system and antislip system the only two brands that could have had a chance would be a g wagon and a land cruiser to an extent depending if their traction control would kick in

If that defender had had chains it would have done that with the lorry's parking brake on🤣
In all seriousness now, with all that ice problem were tyres here, don't think a land cruiser would have done better with their 4cyl 177hp engine...

  • @matthewhawkins106

    1. Pretty gutless without a proper diff lock.
Secondly, Lorrys/Semi truck in the Uk should have the twin axle rear drive instead of a single axle rear drive.

    Been there, done that!
It really isn't that great of a feat. I did this with my old 1989 Dodge Raider (a re-badged Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero). In both cases, the semi-truck (lorry) is doing most of the work. Since the truck presumably got there on it's own, it can almost -- but not quite -- move on it's own. It only needs a little extra help. Here's the news video of me from a year ago, at 0:36:
