A man, in the Autumn of his life, & still, still extremely passionate about his life's work. Amazing such a gifted energetic talented man. Thankyou for posting these treasures up.
He knew he was an eternal Soul, life is never to be fearful or depressing.
The "Universal Law of Attraction" is Absolute
Understand it and embraced your Power. This is actually what Yeshua/Jesus was teaching.
Best Thoughts ...
Can't help but smile when I watch Bill's videos. The way he almost always starts with a song, and attacks the canvas, firing in the colour. What an amazing character
I followed Bill for several years then Bob Ross before even attempting to paint landscapes. Using their techniques I am proud to say today I am a professional landscape artist with paintings hanging all over the country. Whilst I have "dressed" my own technique, much of what I still do is directly linked to Bill Alexander and Bob Ross. They both proved that almost anyone CAN paint if they believe and only try. There are no mistakes, "Only happy accidents". They are sorely missed.
So true, so true. They would both be so proud of your accomplishments. You have taken what they have given all of us and added your own sills to make you a success. Great work.
Is it acrylic paint
sasi kumar vellancheri - Oil paint.
Can you pls share a video of you painting ?
@@harshaare there aren't any that I can find, just look up "David Stanley painter" you'll see a few of his works
So sorry to hear that Mr. Alexander is not here anymore. But his paintings are so alive, he continues to live in it. His paintings are gorgeous and I like very much his comments when he was painted. Very happy that I find your channel. Thank you
This is one of the best landscape painting teaching I have seen in my life.❤
@@beatsandwaves8156 thank you very much!
This is a beautiful painting. It shows how powerful is this man with such variety of colors. He does'nt stop surprising us.
OMG, I love this man so much. You are missed more than you'll ever know. ♥️🥀♥️🥀♥️🥀♥️
this guy is fantastic. he's a real artist.
The one and only Happy Painter his ability talent and charisma stands the test of time forever! Learned everything about painting from him along with thousands of others! Thank you Bill RIP
So beautiful. Bill was an incredible artist, very passionate about his art. So glad we can still learn from him through his videos. Thank you Bill.
The way he puts the leaves on the ground so quickly is just extraordinary.
it's such an honor to watch this man paint, I have watched him paint since I was about 9-10 yrs old, I am shy of 50 now. I wish him and Bob were still alive today, 😇😇😇 their techniques we're incredible
I'd trade The Kardassians for Bob and Bill.
dragon barrows Kardashians
the Bill and Bob magical joy of oil painting show.
Steve R. Same here. They both were such great painters I enjoyed watching both them as well. So sad they're not here. Especially Bob Ross because he died so young in 1995. But their names will be around forever because from generation to the Next Generation they will know who these 2 were and that's a great thing
Thank goodness they left Thier methods for all to see😀
Sounds like he lived through some crazy stuff! Its hard to talk about WWII when your favorite TV personality was playing on the opposing team. Life is hard, so you paint.
We are one people of one planet, Earth. May we all grow to recognize wach other as divine family members and let go pf competition and contraversy 🤣🎨🕊️🌏🕊️💕
Stabs around for 5 mins.and has a nice painting in my book, and he's not a 1/3 of the way thru it.incredible
Bob might've been more relaxing but Bill surely was more talented. That finished painting is simply amazing.
Jeremy Gabryszak - I’m glad you stated that because so many of Bill’s fans are convinced Bob ‘stole’ this technique from him. Bob was very humble and gave Bill credit for teaching him and being a mentor!
Bill taught Bob everything , including wet on wet technique.
19:29 I love how enthusiastic he gets over that tree. xD
Hi there, it's always happy days with Bill painting a happy path down the forest into the yonder. He has such a fertile imagination. Truly an Autumn Dream.
I have no words for this painting. It is the best. I could image myself on that path between those trees. Absolutely magic.
It's amazing watching bill again. The last time I remember seeing him was on TV sometime in the 80s when I first retired.
John Perkens - Damn, you’re old.
A delicious viewing experience. I love the way he presented the large tree, this is an exceptional Landscape Painting.
استاذ الفن المتميز. شكرا مع اطيب الامنيات .
I attempted this painting over the weekend. It's both a learning experience and an exercise in mindfulness.
I am certain you did a almighty job!
One of the last things he says, "When the banks are closed" 😅😊 Yes Bill. We're all happy when that happens.
Bill is an excellent artist
Thank you for watching.

You watch Bob Ross when you wanna relax and maybe try to paint one dat
You watch Bill Alexander when you wanna relax as well as learn how to paint like a maestro
This is a great video.
Beautiful painting
After 5 min 30 seconds , that painting would be ready for my house .
Maravilha de pessoa alegre e feliz!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤ está no meu mundo de felicidade e alegria!
His palette knife work was phenomenal.
Bill was a master artist. By the time he reached "celebrity" on his Emmy award winning television show, he had painted for over forty years and taught for over twenty. The fact he could create a painting in 28 minutes was no gimmick. It was because he had the skills of a master painter. Thanks for your comments and appreciating the skill of this great artist!
@@AAlexanderArt ...You said it , the skill of this great artist. Bill loved painting fast. He always commented on that. He didn't want to "mess around'. Or "fiddle around". Just fire in.
Aleksandr!
You biggest tallent...
My likes and best wishes
Each time when he applies a new color or draws a new object - I feel like he just spoiled the drawing, and then.. it becomes a beauty...! unbelievable game !
Very beautiful 💐💐💐
fascinating!
❤ I'm love'it Congratulation
"eeny meeny moo" LOL too cute!
Such a neat soul
4:20 Happy Trees......Bill is the Originator.....Bill started it all!
Thank you for this.
Bill is quite amazing
Yes, he sure was.
Alexander fantastique 😃😉
Happy trees are here again! :)
That is where Bob Ross got his happy trees analogy. He took it from Bill.
happy painting
🙂 yes singing and happy little 🌲 trees 🙂 mighty magic white 🙂 fire in the paint 🙂 hypnotising the paint 🙂 bill is cool 😎 happy road 🙂 he's my favourite better than Bob Ross though I do like him 🙂
Capolavoro...🇮🇹cordialità...

Er war einfach der beste
Wow David, this is a truly amazing painting! I love your techniques and you have great painting skills. The colours, tone, and shading is wonderful and this looks so realistic - Keep up the amazing work. I upload art videos too. I've subscribed 😊
Gabriel Barbu - Who the hell is David?
His name is William, (Bill) Alexander

@@ShawnMajdi thank you!
I would like to try this but i know i won't do anything like it . he is truly a magician with that brush .
I cracked up when he said Indy minny moo
Awesome. Totally Awesome!!!! Can this be painted with acrylics? I love your work....
Acrylics dry really fast
Use whatever you have to express the beauty n love within you 😍🧚♀️💫💕🕊️🌏🌈
Mr. Alexander had a little bit more Talent than my Bob Ross did in my opinion
Dale Holbert I agree. Bob Ross is great, but overrated. His paintings are always very predictable and his man-made objects never looked that great
The genie is out of the bottle thanks to Bill’s videos, who taught many by TV…..to Bob and the CDs and the Internet. When the aliens land they will learn…..
5:23 A finished modern painting... no, no, no, I'm not so bad! lol No, you're not, Bill, you're not.
👍👍👍👏🎨
Super
This guy cound paint with a mop, snow shovel and toilet brush
And only have two colors light green dark green end result a beautiful masterpiece
And probably a loaf of bread too.
👍
nice
This could be done on a black canvas as well.
While i love Bob, this guy has way better composition. I like his painting more because he does not blend everything like Bob so it looks more expressive.
Bill was Bobs teacher 😉 literally
Bob was a fine artist - but Bill has always made me laugh while amazing me with his talent 😊
@@dclydep I don't have much respect for Ross, because he even copied Bill's expressions like Happy Little trees, or Clouds. Bill felt betrayed by Bob.
@@cleopuma4322 more betrayed in losing a close friend then the fact he became famous using Bills technique . Bob never spoke to Bill again after meeting Annette .
Therresa Green or trees are green? Help))
He initially retired around 1982, so when did he come out of retirement and what inspired him to do so? He ended the show and stopped touring as an instructor, but I doubt he stopped painting.
Bill came out of retirement because KOCE got so much mail from his fans demanding his return to the show. Bill even mentions that at the beginning of some of his videos during the 80's. Bill couldn't put down the paint brush. He painted right up until he had his stroke.
Adam. He didn't retire for long. He continued to produce shows through 1994. He was passionate about sharing his technique with others so they to could be successful.
